In an attempt to weaken the ongoing Sakala Janula Samme, police has arrested Telangana Employees JAC Leader K Swamy Goud today. Though the Samme by Telangana employees has been sending shivers down the spine for Congress Government, they have been exhibiting “Meka pothu Gambhiryam” till today. Not able to withstand the success of Sakala Janula Samme, government has started to show its true colors by arresting Swami Goud.

15,000 private schools to remain closed today and tommorrow for T
About 15,000 private schools in Telangana region will remain closed on September 16th and 17th in support of Sakala Jannula Samme by the Telangana Employees’ Associations. The schools will decide on their future course of action on September 18.
Meanwhile, all government schools in the T-region remained closed on Thursday with the teachers’ unions participating in the strike.
Corporate and private junior colleges in the region have also declared holidays for a week till September 24. Government junior and degree colleges in Telangana remained closed for the third day in a row on Thursday with the government the lecturers’ association participating in the strike since September 13.
Mr S. Sreenivas Reddy, chief advisor, Telangana Private Schools Association said that all private schools in Telangana affiliated to State, CBSE and ICSE Boards had extended support to the strike.
Meanwhile, the government is planning to postpone the quarterly exams in government schools as the teachers’ unions are intensifying the strike.
All the 30,000 government schools and 250 government residential schools and colleges in the T-region remained closed on Thursday with about 1.70 lakh government teachers and 5,000 teachers and non-teaching staff in residential institutions joining the strike.

GHMC staff to join Sakala Janula Samme from next week
The Joint Action Committee of GHMC Workers Union and the Bharatiya Mazdoor Sangh (BMS) Employees Union on Thursday announced that they would be participating in the ongoing mass general strike by the government employees demanding statehood to Telangana, from September 20 onwards.
“A decision whether or not to stall even essential works like garbage clearance, sweeping of roads, street lighting etc., from next week will depend on the call given by the Statewide Employees JAC,” declared GHMC staff union leaders — K. Ravi Kumar, G. Mallikarjun, D. Pradeep Kumar, and Vinay Kapoor.
A ‘maha dharna’ would also be organised at the head office on September 19 as a prelude to the mass strike.
The union leaders warned that if the Essential Services Maintenance Act (ESMA) was invoked in the municipal services, they would ensure that there was a complete halt to all activities.

Sakala Janula Samme to leave South India power’less
The general strike called by the Telangana Employees Joint Action Committee (JAC) demanding statehood to Telangana is all set to cripple the power generation and disrupt the demand-supply balance in the country.
The stoppage of coal production at Singareni Collieries Company Ltd (SCCL), which is one of the key coal assets in the country, is expected to have significant impact on power generation in Maharashtra and Karnataka apart from Andhra Pradesh.
The workers union of Singareni Collieries is a part of the JAC and has joined the general strike from Tuesday. The hit taken by the coal production is now worrying the generation units.
Power generated at Ramagundam’s 2,600 MW plant goes to Pondicherry, Goa, Kerala, Karnataka, Tamil Nadu and Andhra Pradesh.
SCCL provides coal to six power plants with a combined power generation capacity of 6,000 MW in Andhra Pradesh, Karnataka and Maharashtra.
Power plants located at Raichur in Karnataka and Parli in Maharashtra depend on SCCL for their coal requirements as also the state-owned projects of AP Genco and NTPC’s Ramagundam super thermal power station, which supplies power to southern states.
“As many as 60,000 employees participated in the strike today affecting coal production to the extent of 1.3 lakh tons. If the strike continues for more than a week, supply of coal to various power plants would be hit and they would need to make alternate arrangements,” an official of SCCL said.
SCCL produces about 50 million tones of coal and most of it is used for generating power in various units of NTPC, Parli power station of Maharashtra’s Mahagenco and Karnataka Power Corporation.

Day 3 : Sakala Janula Samme super success
The indefinite general strike in Andhra Pradesh’s Telangana region to demand a separate state continued for the third day Thursday, crippling the administration.
Over 400,000 government employees in Hyderabad and nine other districts of Telangana stayed away from work, affecting the delivery of public services and revenue collection.
Authorities Thursday also imposed two- to four-hour power cuts as thermal power generation came to a standstill due to the continuing strike by employees in state-owned Singareni Collieries Company Limited (SSCL).
Tension prevailed at the state assembly as Telangana leaders from the Telugu Desam Party (TDP) tried to lock the building to protest what they called “injustice” to the region and policemen stopped them.
TDP Telangana Forum leader E. Dayakar Rao told reporters that since 80 percent of employees in both the assembly and the state secretariat are from Andhra and Rayalaseema regions, the government was trying to give the impression that the strike has had no impact.
The assembly and the secretariat should have 45 percent of employees from Telangana but gross injustice was being meted out to the region, he said.
For the second consecutive day, cinema theatres in Telangana remained closed to express solidarity with the ‘sakala janula samme’ or strike by all sections of people called by Telangana Joint Action Committee (JAC).
Striking employees, students, teachers, lawyers and activists of various pro-Telangana groups staged protests, formed human chains and took out rallies in different parts of the region.
The strike is likely to further intensify with over 150,000 government teachers planning to join the protest from Friday. Telangana teachers and JAC leaders said they would lock schools and colleges.
Adding to the government’s woes, employees of electricity department and state-owned Road Transport Corporation have also decided to join the strike from Sep 19.
Telangana JAC chairman M. Kodandaram Thursday called upon the people to intensify the strike while Chief Minister N. Kiran Kumar Reddy appealed to employees to call off the work stoppage as it was causing hardships to people.
The chief minister said a separate Telangana could not be achieved by the strike. The cabinet sub-committee headed by Deputy Chief Minister Damodar Rajanarasimha held a meeting in Hyderabad to review the situation.
With the strike causing huge losses to the state exchequer, the government is contemplating using the Essential Services Maintenance Act (ESMA) and the no-work, no-pay rule.
However, Minister for Infrastructure Komatireddy Ventaka Reddy, who hails from Telangana, has warned against the invocation of the ESMA against employees, and said it would not be tolerated.
Pro-Telangana lawyers tried to lay siege to Gandhi Bhavan, headquarters of the ruling Congress, demanding that Congress legislators from Telangana quit to press the demand for statehood.

“Jana Garjana” in Karimnagar today
More than 2,000 police personnel have been deployed for Monday’s ‘Jana Garjana’ public meeting in Karimnagar. TRS is organising the garjana, a day ahead of the ‘sakala janula samme’ which is starting on September 13.
The garjana is being held at the SRR college grounds on Jagityal road. TRS district convener and former minister V Lakshmikantha Rao, former MP Vinod Kumar and others are making last-minute arrangements to make the meeting a grand success. TRS president K Chandrashekhar Rao, political JAC chairman M Kodandaram, employees’ JAC chairman Swamy Goud and others would attend the meeting.

TDP and Congress in a spot over Banswada By-elections
The Telangana issue will be to the fore and influence the outcome of the byelection in the Banswada Assembly constituency. The former Telugu Desam MLA, Mr Pocharam Srinivas Reddy, who resigned the Assembly seat as well as primary membership of the Telugu Desam to protest the party’s double standards on the Telangana issue, is to contest on a Telangana Rashtra Samiti ticket this time.
Since he is expected to be in a very strong position because of his espousal of the Telangana issue, it remains to be seen whether the Congress and TD will field candidates against him or not. There is a growing demand from Telangana protagonists to ensure a unanimous victory for Mr Srinivas Reddy since he has resigned for the Telangana cause. The BJP and YSR Congress have decided not to field candidates against him. “We will not field a candidate in Banswada,” said Mr Bajireddy Goverdhan of the YSR Congress.
According to Telangana Telugu Desam Forum leaders, the TD will not contest the election if Mr Srinivas Reddy contests as an independent, which is unlikely. “We have made it clear. We will stay away from the elections till Telangana is achieved. If someone contests as an independent, we have no objection. If he or she is fielded as a party candidate, we will discuss it in the party and take a decision,” a forum leader said.
TD local leaders Mr Badya Naik, ex-MLA, Gangadhar are in the race. A decision on the candidate will be taken by the TD chief Mr N. Chandrababu Naidu. In an identical case, Mr Ch. Ramesh, who quit the TD and contested on a TRS ticket from Vemulawada Assembly constituency, won with a thumping majority.
By-election to the Banswada Assembly constituency in the State will be held on October 13.Polling will be held on October 13 and the counting of votes taken up on October 17.

Nagam group resign from TDP
The Telugu Desam Party on Wednesday received a jolt when four of its MLAs who were suspended earlier, submitted their resignations from the primary membership of the party. The four MLAs are Nagam Janardana Reddy, K Harishswar Reddy, S Venugopalachary and Jogu Ramanna.
It was Nagam who first e-mailed his resignation letter to party president N Chandrababu Naidu. A couple of hours later, his associate Harishwar Reddy followed suit and faxed his resignation. By the evening, the other two MLAs also submitted their resignations to Naidu.
The four MLAs had earlier submitted their resignations from the Assembly along with the legislators from the other political parties in the Telangana region in order to mount pressure on the separate state issue.
Nagam has started his political career with the TDP and became minister twice in Naidu’s cabinet. He was elected from Nagarkurnool in Mahbubnagar district in 2009 and made deputy leader of the legislature party in the Assembly. He was also made chairman of Public Accounts Committee by Naidu. However, after the re-entry of T Devender Goud, another Telangana leader, into the party fold, he was sidelined by the party chief.
Among those who quit the Telugu Desam party on Wednesday, Venugopalachary was considered a close confidant of Naidu. He had also served as Union minister in the United Front government.
Venugopalachary was a trusted colleague of Naidu and stood by him during the 1995 split in the TDP. In the 2009 elections, he was elected from Mudhole constituency with a slender majority and since then, has been playing an active role in Telangana politics. He said that he had decided to quit the party as it has failed to take a clear stand on the Telangana issue.
Harishwar Reddy held the deputy speaker post when the TDP was in power. He also felt sidelined in the party after the return of Devender Goud which widened the gap between Naidu and Harishwar.
Known as pro-farmer leader, Harishwar wields a lot of clout in his Parigi constituency and in Ranga Reddy district.

Paralyse Telangana administration from Sep 13 : KCR
The strike by all sections of people in support of separate Telangana, scheduled to take off from September 13, should be carried out in such a way to paralyse the administration, TRS chief K Chandrasekhar Rao said. “We should send across a message to Delhi that entire Telangana is paralysed (with the strike),” he said, addressing the Telangana Recognised Schools Management Association (TRSMA). The members of TRSMA should participate in the strike to make it a grand success, Rao said. Education sector would get priority and the recognised schools would be taken care of after the formation of separate Telangana state, he said. The TRS chief expressed fear that Telangana will be targeted and harassed by non-Telangana regions if the separate statehood goal is not realised now.
Meanwhile, K Vithal, a leader of Telangana employees union, said Andhra Pradesh ministers from Telangana should take responsibility if the employees faced action for participating in the strike.
Congress Rajya Sabha member K Keshav Rao, leader of the Telangana Congress steering committee, expressed hope that positive development would take place with regard to the formation of separate Telangana by September 17, the day the erstwhile Nizam state was merged with Indian Union. He said the Telangana Congress would start “action” if no positive development came by the end of September.

Speaker’s action on resignations unconstitutional

1. The rejection of resignations of over 100 Telangana Legislators by the Speaker has created an unprecedented controversy in the history A.P. Legislature. The episode of these resignations began on 3rd July when Dr. Nagam Janardhan Reddy and three others submitted their resignations and it ended with the last resignation by Dr. Shanker Rao, Minister. It is a fact that these 101 resignations were submitted by members personally to the Speaker in proper format. They also told him that their resignations are ‘voluntary and genuine’. Instead of accepting the resignations immediately the Speaker kept them pending for many days and finally rejected them on 23rd July without any valid reason for passing the order of rejection.
2. The decision to reject is not only arbitrary, but is also against the constitution and Rules of A.P. Legislative Assembly as well as the past rulings of Lok Sabha Speaker and the Speaker of A.P., Legislative Assembly as noticed below. In this context it is necessary to refer to the relevant provisions of the constitution as well as the Rules of A.P. Legislative Assembly to know the ‘utter disregard’ shown by the Speaker to the legal provisions.
3. The Articles of the ‘Constitution’ which govern the resignations of M.Ps and MLAs are Art. 101 and 190 respectively. Under these provisions, the Speaker had no role or powers to accept or reject the resignations until 1974. This is clear from the language of the Article-190 which is quoted below:
“If a member resigns his seat by writing under his hand to the Speaker or the Chairman as the case maybe, his seat shall thereupon become vacant”.
4. It is thus seen that in the past when a member submitted his resignation to the Speaker, his seat became vacant. There was no requirement of acceptance or rejection by the Speaker. This provision continued for 25 years until it was amended in 1974 by the constitution (33rd Amendment) Act, 1974. Under this Amendment clause (3) and sub clause (b) of Art.190 was amended by adding a’ proviso’. Now this ‘proviso’ confers powers on the Speaker to accept or reject resignations on ‘specified grounds’.

5. Here it may be stated that the need for this ‘amendment’ arose when some members in some states were under ‘threats’ of ‘extremist elements’ to resign their seats. So this ‘proviso’ gave power to the Speaker to find out whether the resignation is voluntary and genuine before it is accepted. Pursuant to this Amendment the Rules of Lok Sabha and Legislative Assemblies were also amended. In this context reference may be made to Rule 186 of the A.P. Legislative Assembly which governs the issue of resignations by members. This Rule was adopted from Rule240 of the Rules of Lok Sabha which deals with resignations of members. So both the Rules are identical in all respects. In Rule-186, a FORMAT is prescribed for submitting a resignation by MLAs which is extracted below:

6. Now we may refer to the ‘past decisions’ of the Speaker of Lok Sabha in 1989 when he accepted 105 resignations submitted by Lok Sabha members in July, 1989. These resignations were given to him personally by the members. They were accepted on the day they were submitted to him as shown below:

7. There is another memorable ‘example’ of A.P. Assembly set by a previous Speaker, Sri. K.R. Suresh Reddy, in December, 2008. In this case 6 T.R.S. MLAs submitted their resignations to the Speaker on 22-12-2008 when proceedings for their ‘disqualification’ were pending before the Speaker. These resignations were promptly accepted by the Speaker on the same day without seeking any outside advice on this issue. It was on impeccable decision.
Similarly Sri. T. Devender Goud, T.D.P., MLA resigned by sending FAX to the Speaker, Sri. K.R. Suresh Reddy, the then Speaker ascertained the fact of the FAX and accepted the resignation immediately. These are two examples when the Speaker accepted the resignations of MLAs without any delay. And they are ‘binding precedents’ on the present Speaker.

It is also pertinent to note that in both Lok Sabha and A.P. Assembly cases, the Speakers, who belonged to Congress Party, had acted fairly and promptly in deciding the question of acceptance of resignations ensuring transparency and efficiency. But in the present case, the Speaker departed from the ‘binding precedents’ for the reasons well known in ‘Political Circles’.
8. Rejection of resignations by the Speaker raises an extremely important question of constitutional law affecting the basic structure of the constitution namely the rights and privileges of the members of Legislature, their freedom of speech and expression and the dignity of the Houses. The arbitrary action of the Speaker has resulted in ‘gross violation’ of Art.190 of the constitution and Rule-186 of the rules of procedure of A.P. Legislative Assembly. In such a case any violation of the constitution and rules of the House tantamount to ‘Contempt of the House’. In other words the Speaker is liable for contempt of the House for the gross violation committed by him in this case.
9. In the context of present controversy, we may recall another episode of 139 resignations of Legislators submitted in December, 2009 to the Speaker. These resignations were also rejected after 2 months when the matter reached the Supreme Court. In this episode legislators from both regions submitted the resignations and the number was more from Andhra. But most of these resignations were irregular for several reasons shown below:
(i) Many of them were not written on a Format.
(ii) Some of them were collective resignations written on plain papers.
Hence such resignations should have been rejected on the same day when they were submitted to the Speaker. This is another example where the Speaker deviated from previous decisions of the Speaker of A.P. Legislative Assembly.
10. Then what are the remedial measures that are available to the ‘aggrieved Legislatives’. In my view there are only ‘two options’ open to them as described below:
(i) To approach the Supreme Court for an order declaring the ‘rejection order’ as illegal and unconstitutional; or
(ii) Resubmission of resignations to the same Speaker.
If the matter is taken to the Apex Court, there will be larger focus on this issue causing utmost embarrassment to all concerned. For this purpose a petition by few MLAs and M.Ps will serve the purpose and the issue will be settled once for all.
In the present critical times, the two offices of Speaker and chairman, of the Council are held by persons from Andhra region when the leaders of all political parties are divided on regional lines. For this reason the Apex Court is a better Forum for resolving all issues underlying this controversy.

10. Then what are the remedial measures that are available to the ‘aggrieved Legislatives’. In my view there are only ‘two options’ open to them as described below:
(i) To approach the Supreme Court for an order declaring the ‘rejection order’ as illegal and unconstitutional; or
(ii) Resubmission of resignations to the same Speaker.
If the matter is taken to the Apex Court, there will be larger focus on this issue causing utmost embarrassment to all concerned. For this purpose a petition by few MLAs and M.Ps will serve the purpose and the issue will be settled once for all.
In the present critical times, the two offices of Speaker and chairman, of the Council are held by persons from Andhra region when the leaders of all political parties are divided on regional lines. For this reason the Apex Court is a better Forum for resolving all issues underlying this controversy.

NDA to raise Telangana statehood issue in monsoon session
Opposition NDA will raise the Telangana statehood demand during the Monsoon session of Parliament and would ask the UPA to fulfil its promise of initiating steps for creation of a separate state.The assurance was given by Leader of Opposition in Lok Sabha Sushma Swaraj and NDA convener Sharad Yadav to a delegation of leaders and activists from Telangana region in Andhra Pradesh.
The delegation led by senior BJP leader Bandaru Dattatreya and Telangana Joint Action Committee convenor Kodandaram met Swaraj and Yadav and apprised them of the situation in the state.”We told Swaraj what is happening in Andhra Pradesh, especially in the Telangana region and she promised us that she will surely raise the issue during the forthcoming session,” Dattatreya told PTI after the meeting.He said Swaraj is planning to give Calling Attention notice to raise the issue. “She assured us that the issue will be highlighted in Parliament. She also told us that the BJP would expose the Congress’ motives on the issue,” he said.
Dattatreya said the Centre should go by its December 9, 2009 statement in which it said the steps for creation of a Telangana state would be initiated.He said Yadav also assured them that JD(U) would raise the issue in Parliament and pressurise the Centre to immediately announce formation of a separate state.

Hyderabad’s growth continues despite T-heat
The Telangana issue may have kept Andhra Pradesh on the boil, but Hyderabad continues to beat the T-heat by reigning as a hot and happening destination for IT/ITeS (information technology and IT enabled services) sector, according to the latest report of real estate consultancy major Cushman & Wakefield.
In fact, with the exception of Bangalore, Hyderabad beat other key IT/ITeS destinations like Chennai, NCR and Pune when it comes to luring IT/ITeS players to mop up office space during the April-June 2011 quarter.
According to Cushman & Wakefield, of the total 1 million sq ft space that was lapped up by companies in Hyderabad during the quarter, nearly 8 lakh sq ft space was mopped up by the IT/ITeS sector, with the remaining being picked up by sectors like BFSI (banking, financial services and insurance), engineering and consulting.
In comparision, NCR saw 6.4 lakh sq ft space being picked up by IT/ITeS players, Chennai 5.4 lakh sq ft and Pune 4.8 lakh sq ft space. Bangalore saw a whopping 2.96 million sq ft space being lapped up by IT players during the quarter.
The quarter saw social networking giant Facebook expand its presence in the city by leasing another 1.2 lakh sq ft space at the Raheja Mindspace, where it had made its debut in the middle of last year.
Interestingly, the total 1 million square ft space absorption during the April-June quarter this year marks a 13% jump over total office space absorption in the city during the January-March 2011 quarter, putting to rest the fears that the T-stir was taking its toll on the city’s growth prospects.
This should clear the clouds that the Telangana movement has hampered the growth of Hyderabad. Except a few bandhs that were necessitated to exhibit severe dissatisfaction over the Government’s inability to solve the T-issue, Telanganites have made sure that the movement does not hinder the prospects of its capital city.
Telanganites have adopted innovative ways to protest like vanta-varpu, human chains, peace rallies, and hunger strikes.

Telangana Agitations – Are we Losing Hyderabad and Other T Districts to Seemandhra Investor?
On the night of 9th December 2009 soon after the announcement of the Union Home Minister about the beginning of the process of formation of separate Telangana State, the Telanganites trusted that and started celebrating considering their miseries have come to an end and their long overdue demand was fulfilled and dream has come true. They trusted the announcement as it was after due consultations with all the relevant parties and was announced by none other than the union HM himself. Poor souls were unaware the conspiracy of Congress and TDP who played the ploy to disrupt the agitation in a way that the same HM had to make another announcement exactly after two weeks of his initial announcement.
The announcement of 23rd Dec. 09 lead to many protests and continuous agitations in Telangana, most people were discussing agitating protesting about and against Sri Krishna Commission popularly known as SKC. What people forgot in this period from 23rd Dec. till date is the conspiracy of the Congress High command and UPA govt. and most importantly the State Govt. of Andhra (I won’t refer it AP as for me AP NO MORE EXISTS). Leaders are more vocal about the formation of separate state so as the People of Telangana, continuous agitations, rasta rokos, bandhs etc. leading to the arrests of people students etc. but we missed to understand, this is what the congress high command (CHC) wanted and approved on the request of Andhra govt. The CHC wanted us to be busy in protests for Telangana, to implement the Andhra agenda in the heart of Telangana i.e. Hyderabad and its surroundings. We all know from the beginning and our leaders across all the political parties that, Telangana is inevitable, but when? is a Trillion Dollar question for common man, but for politicians it is certain that nothing will move before the next general election whenever to be held. Till then the state and central govt. has to run the business i.e. the governance. Therefore, they made us busy in these things and they are running their own show. Coming back to the conspiracy, we Telanganites are busy with all kinds of protests for a separate state; the Seemandhra lobby is quietly implementing its dirty agenda to strengthen its claim on Hyderabad. My comments on simply can be verified by anybody, in the month of Feb or March of 2010, I have quoted a knowing person working in the Survey and Land Records Dept. that the govt. had planned to acquire more mandals from almost all the districts surrounding Hyderabad paving way to accommodate more and more Seemandhrites and strengthen their claim on Hyderabad, and compel T aspirators to accept the fact that Hyderabad is a metro and most of the huge structures, industries and farms etc. are actually belongs to the settlers and they have the legitimate right to claim stakes in Hyderabad. The conspiracy was hatched by the Seemandhra investors for a bigger land grab than of CBN and YSR’s tenures. Till yesterday, the settlers were a few thousand perhaps one lakh in Hyderabad, but there are quite a few in the surrounding districts, imagine if Hyderabad expands to Sadashivpet to Bhongir to Gajwel to Shadnagar to Yacharam to Dasari Palli in the name of Metro. Believe the govt. was working on this plan for quite sometime and we were busy in agitations. Today the state govt. had announced very calmly the Hyderabad Metropolitan Development Plan via the HMDA. If we don’t protest the implementation of this plan of HMDA then it will be more and more difficult to get the city out of the Seemandhra clutches.
The repealing of section of sixth zone, the on going recruitments by the state govt. in different depts., the conduction of APPSC exams, the quotas of professional courses being filled without any legitimate share being given to Telangnaites, the implementation of GO 610 these have become very very minor issues compared to the HMDA plan. Believe me if this plan gets a green signal, then every district connecting with Hyderabad will lose many many mandals and huge land and farms and villages and its population to Hyderabad. All the districts connecting with Hyderabad city will shrink further. The price of land will sky rocket, the living cost in these places will go high, the life of common man will become more vulnerable. The districts will loose its revenues, today these mandals adjacent to Hyderabad are contributing good revenue to the district they belong to, but tomorrow the revenue will go to Hyderabad. When the intellectual sit to calculate the revenue shares then Hyderabad will be at 60%-80% of the whole state revenue the claim of Seemandhra’s will strengthen further on the city.
I repeat this is a very big conspiracy of the congress party, they kept us busy in discussing the resignations, the agitations, the strike of Telangana employees etc. and they are implementing perhaps worlds largest land grabbing plan to appease Seemandhrites and make our lives miserable. Wakeup Telangana, other wise you won’t have even time to regret. We know we will get Telangana, but in what shape? This needs the attention of Telanganites. Hyderabad is becoming a Monster for other Telangana districts, though every metro has the same issue but here the expansion is being done at the behest of the Seemandhrites to benefit them more than of Hyderabadis.
I conclude with the request to protest for the expansion of Hyderabad, protest to stop the land grabbing of the state govt. protest to keep your land for your future generations. Give real hard time to your local leaders to stop the implementation of this HMDA plan. Or else you will be NO LAND MAN very soon, like our fellow Telanganites of RR dist. Once they were the land lords and today they are coolies and working Seemandhra farms and farmhouses.
Finally, would like to request the reader to get more details on the HMDA land acquiring plan to spread awareness across Telangana. Please refer the attache map of Greater Hyderabad.

Sakala Janula Samme
With conflicting signals emanating from Delhi, the Telangana Joint Action Committee (TJAC) has decided to intensify its agitation for Telangana.
The immediate programme is Sakala Janula Samme, a strike by employees of the state government and state public sector undertakings.
The employees have already served notice on the government that they will go on strike from any day after August 1. The TJAC is planning to intensify the agitation from August 15 though the agitation will begin after August 1.
TJAC’s steering and programme committees have come up with an action plan for Sakala Janula Samme and will announce it after due discussion at the TJAC general body meeting.
The programme mainly aims at muzzling the government by blocking revenue flow to the exchequer.
The organisers are also planning to create road blocks on the national highways all over the region. Besides, they will organise rail roko to draw the attention of the national and international media. The programme will be carried out on the lines of the ‘Non-Cooperation Movement’.
Another highlight of the programme will be disruption of the businesses of Seemandhra leaders who are actively involved in blocking formation of Telangana state.

TRS legislators submit their resignations again
All 11 legislators of the Telangana Rashtra Samithi (TRS) sent in their resignations to Andhra Pradesh assembly speaker Monday, two days after he rejected the resignations of over 100 lawmakers from the region.
The TRS lawmakers faxed their resignations to the office of the speaker. With this, the number of MLAs who have quit since Sunday rose to 15. Four rebel legislators of the Telugu Desam Party (TDP) tendered their resignations Sunday.
TDP lawmakers from Telangana have already decided to re-submit their resignations to press their demand of a separate Telangana state. Their colleagues in the ruling Congress are likely to take a decision after talks with central leadership later in the day.
Speaker N. Manohar Sunday rejected resignations of all 101 lawmakers from Telangana, saying these were tendered in an emotionally charged atmosphere.
The lawmakers who resigned on July 4 and 5 were 47 of the ruling Congress, 37 of the TDP, 11 of the TRS, four of the Communist Party of India (CPI) and two of the Bharatiya Janata Pary (BJP).
The Telangana region accounts for 119 seats in the 294-member assembly. The resignations were aimed at creating a constitutional crisis and forcing the central government to take a decision on carving out a separate Telangana state.
Telangana Joint Action Committee (JAC) convenor M. Kodandaram said if the central government failed to announce a decision for formation of a separate state, the agitation would be intensified.
He demanded that all public representatives from the region again submit their resignations and press for their acceptance. With the proposed indefinite strike by government employees next month, the Telangana agitation would intensify, Kodandaram said. The JAC is making efforts to unite all sections of employees in government and public sector undertakings for the strike.

TV9 banned in Telangana
Telangana MSOs have decided to ban TV9 in the Telangana region excluding Hyderabad. Telangana MSO association president Kuldeep Sahani has issued a statement to this effect.
Be it the Maha Garjana, Million March, or the latest AP Bhavan incident, TV9 has always tried to show the Telangana movement in poor light. This should straighten up the other Seemandhra channels like NTV, Studio N, Sakshi, I News, ETV and ABN Andhrajyothy. Otherwise, they meight end up with the same fate.

Harish Rao takes AP Bhavan officer to task for his heinous behavior
Tension prevailed at AP Bhavan in New Delhi on Thursday when the officials straightaway took the body of Yadi Reddy who committed suicide in a park near the India Gate on Wednesday morning, to the airport for being airlifted to Hyderabad.
Enraged over the action of the AP Bhavan authorities, who had earlier promised to bring the body to the Bhavan, the Congress, BJP and TRS elected representatives staged a dharna at the chamber of Resident Commissioner. They took the officer to task for shifting the body from the suicide spot to the airport straightaway even after promising to bring the body to the AP Bhavan.
The Congress MPs, Dr K Keshav Rao, Mr Madhu Yashki, Mr Ponnam Prabhakar, Mr Manda Jagannatham, Mr G Vivek, Mr Rajaiah, the Congress MLAs, Mr R Damodar Reddy, Mr K Lakshma Reddy, Mr S Rajaiah, Mr Gandra Venkataramana Reddy, the TRS legislators, Mr T Harish Rao, Mr Etela Rajender, the TDP MP, Mr Ramesh Rathod and others squatted before the chamber of the Resident Commissioner and staged dharna. They demanded that the official be dismissed forthwith for hurriedly shifting the youth’s body to the airport.
Expressing surprise over the Resident Commissioner not bringing Yadi Reddy’s body to the AP Bhavan, Madhu Yashki described the official’s action as heinous, mischievous and deliberate.
The TRS legislators, Mr Harish Rao and Mr Etela Rajender demanded immediate dismissal of the Resident Commissioner for his deliberate act of shifting the youth’s body to the airport surreptitiously. Dr Keshav Rao also expressed his displeasure over the officer’s heinous behaviour. He described it as a great insult to the people of entire Telangana region.
TRS leaders said the RC and employees of the AP Bhavan have insulted the people of Telangana by shifting the body of Yadi Reddy to the airport. They demanded an apology to the people of Telangana by the RC.

అది డిల్లి నగరం, దేశ రాజధాని, అక్కడ పార్లమెంట్ ఉండును, అన్ని ప్రాంతాల వారికి సరిఐన ప్రాతినిధ్యం ఉండును. ఎపి భవన్ అని ఒక బంగ్లా, దానిని నిజాం కట్టించెను. కాని అక్కడ కేవలం ఆంధ్రా వాళ్ళు మాత్రమె ఉండును, ఈ విషయం ఇన్ని సంవత్సరాలుగా ప్రజా ప్రతినిధులుగా ఫొస్ కొడుతున్న మన నాయకులకు ఎవ్వరికి కనపడలేదు, విన పడలేదు, మిగతా అన్ని విషయాల లాగానే వినపడదు, సోయి లేదు. హైదరాబాద్ లో ఎస్సి, బీసి లకి ఒకే ఒక అంబేద్కర్ భవన్ , తనక బ్యాండ్ నగరం నది బొడ్డున ఉండును. అందులో కూడా అందరూ ఆంధ్రా వారే ఉండును, చదువుకొనే వారు, బోదించే వారు. మనకు కనపడదు, అది వేరే విషయం, మల్లోక సంఘటన జరిగినపుడు చర్చించుదాం, అప్పటిదాకా పురసత్. ఏదైనా సంఘటన జరిగినపుడు మాత్రం లబో దిబో మని ఎడవాలే, అన్యాయం , అక్రమం అని అరవాలే. మనకి అలవాటే, వారికి అలవాటే, ఇపుడు మనకి అర్థం ఐన నీతి ఏందయ్యా అంటే, ఎక్కడ ఎపి ఉంటె అక్కడ ఆంధ్రా వారు మాత్రమె ఉండును. దాని ఫలితం, ప్రాంతం కోసం నిండు ప్రాణాలని త్రుణ ప్రాయంగా తీసుకున్న యాది రెడ్డి త్యాగం , ఒక అనాధ కంటే హీనంగా చూడబడింది, చిత్రించబడింది.
ఇంత కంటే అవమానం , అమానుషం ఇంకోటేదన్న ఉంటదా, అసలు మానవత్వం అనేది మచ్చుకైనా లేని, అమానవీయ జాతిని ఆంధ్రోల్లు అని అందురా? (సారి, అందులో మంచి వాళ్లకి మినహాయింపు). ఒక బిడ్డ, ఒక కారణం కోసం, న్యాయం కోసం, చేతకాని దద్దమ్మల ప్రజా ప్రతినిధుల తోని ఏది కావట్లేదని, కనీసం అమ్మ సోనియమ్మా కరునిస్తదని, కనీసం అక్కడ మీడియా అన్న ప్రచురిస్తదని, దయ, కరుణ కురిపిస్తదని, తెలంగాణాని ప్రకటిస్తదని మనస్పూర్తిగా నమ్మి ప్రాణాలు అర్పిస్తే, కనీసం ఆ వార్తని బయట ప్రపంచానికి తెలియ కుండా ఉంచడానికి కుట్రలు పన్ని, ఒక అనాధ శవాన్ని తగలేసినట్టు తగలేసి చేతులు దులుపు కుందామని అనుకున్నారు. వ్హాటే కంట్రీ! మా దేశం లోనే మేము కాన్దిశీకులం, పరాయి వాళ్ళం, ఈ దేశాన్ని చూస్తె కళ్ళు చెమరుస్తున్నాయి, రోమాలు నిక్క పోడుచుకుంటున్నాయి. ఈ దేశం కోసమేనా వేల ప్రాణాలు తీసుకున్నది? ఇదేనా స్వాతంత్రం, ప్రజా స్వామ్యం అంటే. అసలు ఇక్కడ హక్కులు, చట్టాలు న్యాయం అను విషయాలు ఉన్నాయా? ఉంటె ఎవరికీ ఉన్నాయి, బలిసిన వాడికి, రౌడిలకి, గూండాలకి..డబ్బు నోట్లకి మాత్రమేనా?
కేవలం తెలంగాణా ప్రాంతంలోనే ఆంధ్రా వాళ్ళ ఆక్రమణలు ఉండును, ఇక్కడ ఇబ్బడి ముబ్బడిగా వారి ఉద్యోగులను నిమ్పుకోనును..చేంజ్ ది డైలాగ్ నౌ, వారు ఎక్కడ ఉంటె అక్కడ పూర్తిగా వారే ఆక్రమించుకొని ఉందురు..అది డిల్లి గాని, అమెరికా కాని, (అందరూ దయచేసి మీ మీ ప్రాంతాలల్లో ఉన్న వారిని లేక్ఖిన్చుకోగలరు) అయినా, తెలంగాణా ఉద్యమం ఉవ్వెత్తున లేచిన దగ్గరినుంచి వేరు పడ్డాము కాదా..నో ప్రాబ్లెం.
తెలంగాణా హక్కులు అడుక్కోవడానికి కాదు , శవాలను కాపాడుకొనే, శవ దహనాలు చేసుకొనే పోరాటం దాక కుదించబడింది. మా వాళ్ళు ఎక్కడ చని పోఇంరు, ఎవడు దిక్కు? మాకు బతికుండగా లేవు హక్కులు, కనీసం చచ్చినంక అన్న కనికరం లేదు. ఎం పాపం చేసినం, ఎం నేరం చేసినం రా భై! కడుపు మండుతుంది, ఆక్రోశం కట్టలు తెంచుకుంటుంది. అన్న హరిషన్నా, నీ జాగల ఎవ్వడున్న, వాడిని తన్నుడే! దూరంగా ఉన్న మాకే రక్తం మసలుతుంది. ఇదే ఆంధ్రా వాళ్లకి జరిగి ఉంటె, అక్కడ ఎన్ని దహనాలు జరుగుతున్డేనో, ఎన్ని విద్వంసాలు రచిస్తున్దేనో, క్షణాల మిద, మూకుమ్మడిగా ధర్నా కి దిగి, ఆంధ్రల ధర్నాలు మొదలైనాయి. ఇంకా చట్టాలు, కేసులు అంటారా , అవి ఎపుడు అవసరం ఉన్న వాడికి పనికి రాలేదు, అవకాశం ఉన్నవాడి స్వార్థానికి మాత్రమె, అయినా మనకి కనపడే వాడు ఎపుడు మనకు శత్రువే అనుకుంటాం, వాడి వెనుక ఉన్నస్వార్థ శక్తులని మనం ఎప్పుడు పట్టుకోలేము. ఇక్కడి పోలీసులనే కాదు , అక్కడి పోలీసులని, మీడియాని కూడా పట్టగలిగే సత్తా ఉంది, మనీ మేక్స్ మేని థింగ్స్!
ఇన్ని రోజులు నేషనల్ మీడియా రాయట్లేదు అని బాద పడితే ఇప్పుడు, బ్రేకిన్గ్ల తోటి వేస్తున్నారు, హరీష్ రావు బీట్స్ ఆఫీసర్, బ్రేక్స్, కేస్ పైల్డ్! ఆర్ని! అసలు, పేపర్లు, టీవీలు బందు పెడితే ఎట్లుంటది, కనీసం ఖర్చులు మిగులుతాయి, ఉద్యమాలకి అన్న పెట్టొచ్చు. పోలీసులు ఆంధ్రోల్ల కొరకే..మాకు మా బిడ్డలను గౌరవంగా తీసుకొనే హక్కు లేదు, నివాళులు అర్పించాలేము, అడ్డమోచ్చినోడిని అర్రెస్ట్ చేయండ్రి, బాధపడి, మనస్తాపం చెంది ఆత్మహత్య చేసుకుంటే శవాలని కూడా చంపేయండి! ఇన్ని రోజుల మా మౌనానికి, మీ అక్రమానాలని చోద్యంగా చూసిన మా మౌనానికి, అంతా మావోల్లె అని నమ్మిన మా అమాయకత్వానికి అనుభవిస్తున్నాము. ఇంకా మంచి తనం, మానవత్వం లేకుండా మర మనుషులుగా తయారు అవుతామేమో అని కూడా భయపడుతున్నాము.
ఇంకా మాకు రాజకీయ పార్టీల మిద నమ్మకాలు పోయినై, ఒకరో ఇద్దరితోని ప్రభుత్వాలు నడవవు, వ్యక్తిగతంగా మాకు ప్రేమలున్నా అవి రాజకీయంగా గెలవడానికి పనికి రావు. ఇవాళ ఆజాద్ మొకం చూస్తె తెలంగాణా ఇస్తారన్న నమ్మకం కలుగుతలేదు.మల్లి చర్చలు, ఇక్కడ చావులు, అక్కడ చర్చలు. చేసుకోండి..మేము మాత్రం ఉద్యమాలని నమ్ముకున్నం, సీమంద్ర ప్రాంతం లో ఉద్యమం లేచింది అంటే కేంద్రాన్ని భయ పెట్టడానికే, కాని మనం బుజ్జగించడానికి ఉద్యమాలు చేస్తాం, బతిమిలాడుకుంటూ ఉంటాం. చేసుకొండ్రి. కార్నివాల్ తెలంగాణా!
ఈ బాదలు, అవమానాలు, అగ్గి గోళాలై మండిన నాడు,
ఒక్కొక్కడు ఒక్కొక్క నిప్పుకనికైన నాడు..
అమ్మల ఆక్రందనలు, శాపనార్థాలు నిలువెల్లా ఆవహించిన నాడు,
ప్రతిగుంట నక్క రాజకీయ నాయకులు రోడ్ల మిద పడక తప్పదు..
చరిత్రలోకి తొంగి చూద్దాం, విప్లవ పోరాటాల ఊపిరిలో
మునిగి తేలిన తెలంగాణాని స్మరించుకుందాం,
నువ్వు చూడని, కనీ విని ఎరుగని
నూతన ఉద్యమ రూపాలని చూపిస్తాం
తెలంగాణా స్వతంత్రాన్ని సాధించుకుంటాం అని

T debate even in mosques
The Telangana Muslims, in an attempt to come up with a unified stand on the bifurcation of the state, have started discussing the contentious issue even in mosques, where they gather five times a day to say their prayers.
The T-Muslims are meeting sometimes after the Asar (later afternoon) prayer to find out whether the creation of a Telangana state would bring them any benefits or miseries.
The Majlis-e-Ittehadul Muslimeen, that has seven MLAs and two MLCs, has said that while it is opposed to the division of the state, it would not accept Telangana without Hyderabad as its capital. On the other hand, the Muslims of the newer parts of Hyderabad as well as of the districts are largely in support of the creation of Telangana.
The deliberations among the Muslims intensified following the latest round of crisis that erupted as a result of resignations of MPs, MLAs and MLCs from Telangana from the legislative bodies.
The Muslim community members ranging from local leaders of different political parties, government employees, religious heads and youth seem to have broken all kinds of barriers for the first time to join in group discussions in mosques. The management committees of the mosques, realizing the importance of the issue, are allowing the people to hold meetings. “There is no bitterness, no animosity and no rivalries. All are coming on one neutral platform to debate the issue. The objective is to see whether a consensus could be reached on the formation of T,” an imam of a mosque in Sangareddy, Medak district, said. However, at the village and mandal level, most of them are participating in the movement but have no umbrella body to represent their concerns and aspirations, he added.
“After Asar, the community members congregate in the mosque and discuss the political developments in Telangana. For the last one month, the number of participants in the debate is increasing,” another imam of a mosque in Nalgonda district said. On Fridays, the local leaders of all political parties such as the Congress, TRS and TDP come to mosque and participate actively in the discussion.

నిన్నగాకమొన్న ఢిల్లీలో సీమాంధ్ర ప్రాంత కాంగ్రెస్ నాయకులు మూడు రోజుల పాటు మకాం వేసి.. ప్రత్యేక రాష్ట్రాన్ని అడ్డుకునేందుకు ఆఖరి ప్రయత్నాలు చేశారు. భారీ ఎత్తున గ్రంథం నడిపారు. ఇక్కడ సీమాంధ్ర ప్రాంతానికి చెందిన టీడీపీ నేతలు సైతం తామేమీ తక్కువ తినలేదన్నట్లు రెచ్చిపోయారు. తెలంగాణపై సానుకూల సంకేతాలను ఓర్వలేక.. తమ నిరాశ నిస్పృహలను బయటపెట్టుకున్నారు. ప్రత్యేక ఆకాంక్షపై నిప్పులుగక్కారు. గుంటూరులో సభ పెట్టుకుని శివాపూత్తారు. రెండడుగులు ముందుకేసిన కేశవ్… తెలంగాణ ఏర్పాటును అడ్డుకోవడానికి అవసరమైతే ఆత్మాహుతి దాడులకు సైతం సిద్ధమని సంచలన ప్రకటన చేశారు.
‘‘తెలుగు జాతి సమైక్యత కోసం రాజీనామాలే కాదు.. దేనికైనా సిద్ధం. కేంద్రం ఆత్మ విమర్శ చేసుకోవాలి. కేంద్రం తన తప్పుకు ప్రాయశ్చిత్తం చేసుకోవాలి. సమైక్య రాష్ట్రంలోనే హైదరాబాద్ అభివృద్ధి జరిగిందనే విషయం మర్చిపోవద్దు. మా దేహం ముక్కలైనా దేశాన్ని ముక్కలు కానీయం. కేంద్రం తెలంగాణ ప్రకటిస్తే ఆత్మబలిదానాలే కాదు.. అవసరమైతే ఆత్మాహుతి దాడులకు సిద్ధం. రాష్ట్రాన్ని అగ్ని గుండంగా మారిస్తే ఊరుకోం. అనాలోచిత నిర్ణయాలు తీసుకోవద్దు. అవసరమైతే దాడులు జరుపుతాం. రాష్ట్ర విభజనకు ఒప్పుకునే పరిస్థితి లేదు.
రాష్ట్రాన్ని సమైక్యంగా ఉంచుతామని సోనియా స్పష్టమైన ప్రకటన చేయాలి. తెలుగువారి ఖ్యాతిని ఇనుమడింపజేసిన టీడీపీని దెబ్బ తీయాలని టీఆర్ఎస్ అధినేత కేసీఆర్ ప్రయత్నిస్తున్నారు. 2009 డిసెంబరు 9న కేంద్రం ప్రకటన తరువాత ఆంధ్రలో ఉద్యమాలు చేసి 20 రోజుల్లో కేంద్రం మెడలు వంచి రాష్ట్ర విభజనను అడ్డుకున్నది తెలుగుదేశం పార్టీ ఒక్కటే. కేసీఆర్ బెదిరింపులు చెల్లవు. మీరు అందరితో రాజీనామాలు చేయించడానికి రెండేళ్లు పట్టింది. తెలుగుజాతి సమైక్యత కోసం రాజీనామాలే కాదు దేనికైనా మేం సిద్ధం. కేసీఆర్… సీమాంధ్ర నేతలపై విరుచుకుపడుతున్నావు. చరివూతలో కలిసిపోయే రోజులు వచ్చాయి’’ అని పయ్యావుల హెచ్చరించారు.
తెలుగు జాతి మనది.. నిండుగ వెలుగు జాతి మనది.. అంటూ పాటలు పాడుకున్న తెలుగుదేశం నాయకులు.. తమ నిజస్వరూపాన్ని ఇప్పుడు నగ్నంగా బయటపెట్టుకున్నారు. తెలుగు జాతి విడిపోవడం అన్యాయమన్నట్లు ఆక్రోశం వెళ్లగక్కారు. తెలంగాణవాదులు అడుగుతున్నది ఒకప్పటి రాష్ట్రాన్ని మళ్లీ ఇవ్వమనే! ఒకప్పుడు దగాకోరు ఒప్పందాలతో కలిపేసుకున్న ప్రాంతాన్ని మళ్లీ విడదీయమనే! దీనిని గుర్తించనిరాకరిస్తున్న టీడీపీ నేతలు.. బెదిరింపులకు దిగుతున్నారు.
పదేళ్ల మలి విడత తెలంగాణ ఉద్యమంలో గానీ.. రెండేళ్లుగా ఉధృతమైన పోరాటంలో గానీ తెలంగాణ బిడ్డలు రాష్ట్ర ఆకాంక్షను వెల్లడించేందుకు తమను తాము కాల్చుకుని ఆహుతయ్యారు తప్పించి.. ఏ ఒక్క సీమాంవూధుడిపైనా దాడికి దిగింది లేదు.
ఆవేశంలో అద్దాలు పగలగొట్టారేమోగానీ.. తెలంగాణ వనరులను కొల్లగొడుతున్న సీమాంధ్ర పెట్టుబడిదారుల ఆర్థిక ప్రయోజనాలను అడ్డుకున్నది లేదు! ఉద్యమానికి సారథ్యం వహిస్తున్న టీఆర్ఎస్ కూడా పార్లమెంటరీ పోరాటాలకు, ప్రజాస్వామ్యయుత ఆందోళనలకే మొగ్గు చూపింది తప్పించి.. ఏనాడూ సీమాంధ్ర నేతలపై భౌతిక దాడులకు పిలుపునిచ్చింది లేదు.
కానీ.. తెలుగుజాతి ఐక్యత ముసుగులో వెంపర్లాడుతున్న సీమాంధ్ర టీడీపీ నేతలు మాత్రం.. వారు ప్రవచించే ‘తెలుగు జాతి’ మధ్య విద్వేషాలు రెచ్చగొ సిద్ధపడటమే దిగ్భ్రాంతిని కలిగిస్తోంది. వారి అసలు ఉద్దేశాలపై అనుమానాలు రేకెత్తిస్తోంది. తెలుగుజాతిలోని తెలంగాణ ప్రజల పట్ల టీడీపీ నేతల అసహనాన్ని ప్రతిబింబిస్తోంది. ఇది ఏ తరహా ‘తెలుగు జాతి ఐక్యత’కు దోహదం చేస్తుంది? తెలంగాణ రాష్ట్రాన్ని ఇవ్వమని కోరుతుంటే.. ఆత్మాహుతి దాడులు చేస్తామని బెదిరించడం ఏ తెలుగు జాతికి నిండుతనం తెస్తుంది? రెండు రాష్ట్రాలుగా తెలుగుజాతి మనలేదా? రెండు నిండు తెలుగు రాష్ట్రాలుగా తెలుగుజాతి అభివృద్ధి పథాన దూసుకపోలేదా? పచ్చపార్టీ సారథులారా.. ఏమిటీ మీ సమాధానం?
‘మా సహనాన్ని పరీక్షించొద్దు. ఇక్కడ ఎవరూ గాజులు తొడుక్కొని కూర్చోలేదు. దాడులను తిప్పి కొట్టే శక్తి మాకుంది. పిచ్చెక్కి, మదమెక్కి మాట్లాడుతున్నారు. టీజీలు, కేశవ్లు, రేణుకాలు… వీరంతా పేపర్ టైగర్లే. మేం ఊరుకున్నా ప్రజలు ఊరుకోరు’

కేశవ్ ప్రకటన చాలా బాధాకరం. ఆయన మాటలను రాయలసీమ ఫాక్షన్ మాటలుగానే భావించాల్సి ఉంటుంది. ఆత్మాహుతి దాడులు వంటి మాటలు రాయలసీమ జిల్లాలకు పరిమితం చేసుకోవడం ఆయనకే మంచిది.

యాది , మనాది . ఒక దుఖం నుంచి బయట పడక ముందే, కంట తది ఆరక ముందే, యాది మరవక ముందే మల్లోక వార్త, మల్లోక చావు..ఎక్కడికి పోతుందీ ఉద్యమం! ఎన్ని ప్రాణాలు బలి తీసుకుంటది, తెలంగాణాల అన్ని జిల్లాలు ఐపోయినై..ఇంకా కేంద్రం దిక్కు అని, పార్లమెంట్ కాడ పానం వదిలిండు బిడ్డడు యాది రెడ్డి! ఎన్ని రాత్రులు, పగలు ఆలోచిన్చిన్దో , ఎన్ని మోసాలు, వేషాలు గుండెల్లో గునపాలై గుచ్చుకున్నవో, ప్రజా ప్రతినిధులు కారురా, వీళ్ళు పల్లేరుకాయలు, తేనే పూసిన విషపు కత్తులు, పానాలు తీసే రాక్షసులు అని అర్థం అయిందో ఏమో. ప్రజా స్వామ్యం పార్లమెంట్ ల నన్నా ఉంటది అనుకున్నడెమో పిచ్చి యది రెడ్డి, ఈ దేశం లో ఇంకా ప్రజల గోడు వినే ప్రభుత్వాలు వున్నాయని, ప్రజల కొరకు నడుచుకొనే, త్యాగాలు చేసే ప్రతినిధులు ఉన్నారని, పార్టీలంటే, రాజ్యాధికారం అంటే ప్రజలను కాపాడతాయని పుస్తకాల్ల చదువుకున్నవన్ని నిజాల్ని ఎన్ని అపోహలు పడ్డాడో..చివరకి నిజాలు తెలుసుకొని, కనీసం పార్లమెంట్ గోడలకి అన్న కళ్ళు ఉంటాయని, గాలికి చేవులున్తాయని, సోనియామ్మని కదిలిస్తాయని, అమాయకంగా పానాలు బలి పెట్టిండు, నీ త్యాగానికి అయినా డిల్లి దర్బారు పాపాలు కొట్టుకొని పోతాయి యాది రెడ్డి, నువ్వు చేసిన పనికి ప్రతినిత్యం, అక్కడ అడుగు పెట్టే మన నాయకులు, ప్రజల శవాల పైన, సమాధుల పైన కోట్లకు పడగలు ఎత్తే పధకాల కోసం రాత్రి పగలు కాపలా కాసే , పడిగాపులు కాసే నేతలకు , కనీసం ఒక్క నిముషం మనస్సు చివుక్కు మనిపిస్తది, నీ ఆవేదన, ఆర్తనాదమై, చెవుల ఇల్లు కట్టుకొని ఘీన్కరిస్తది..నీ ప్రాణం వృధా కాదు తమ్ముడు, ఇక్కడి మంచి తనానికి, పిచ్చితనానికి మీరు ప్రతికలు..మీ అమూల్యమైన ప్రాణాలు కాపాడుకోలేని మా సేగ్గులేని జీవితాలని పైనుంచి అయినా క్షమించు, పైసాకి కొరగాని వాడు, పాపాలకి కేర్ ఆఫ్ గాళ్ళు మమ్మల్ని నానా మాటలు అంటూ ఉంటె, నోరు మూసుకున్న నాయకత్వాలని, అచేతనమై చూస్తున్న ప్రేక్షకులం. కారు కూతలు వింటున్న శ్రోతలం. మహా అంటే నాలుగు మాటలు బ్లాగుల రాసి, ఫోనులు చేసి..సానుభూతి తెలిపెతోల్లం. ఇంకా చావొద్దు అని కేకలు పెట్టేతోల్లం. అంతే! అయ్యో, మీకెట్ల చెప్పాలే..మేమంతా జీవచ్చావలమై బతుకుతున్నామని, మీ చావులు మమ్మల్ని ఎంత క్రుంగ దీస్తాయో ఎట్లా చెప్పాలే.
సచ్చి సచ్చి మీకు విసుగు వస్తలేదా తమ్మి? బ్రతికున్న మాకు మాత్రం విరక్తి పుడుతుంది, ఎందుకు మీకు ఈ చావులు, తలి తండ్రులకు కడుపు కోతలు, మా లాంటి ఉద్యమ కారులకి గుండె కోతలు? మేము జీవితాంతం మీ చావులని చూసి చావలసిన్దేనా? నివాళిలు, సంస్మరణ సభలు, కొవ్వొత్తుల రాలీలు.. ..అలసి పోయినం, ఇంకా వోపిక లేదు తమ్ముల్లారా, అన్నల్లార..కలిసి బతుకుదాం, కలిసి పోరాడుదాం! మా నాయకులకి టీవిల్లో పండుగ, ఒకడిని ఒకడు తిట్టుకొని, ఎవరి తెలివి ఎంత ఉందొ చూపించు కోవడం లో బిజీ, మేము కూడ, క్రికెట్ చూసినంత క్రేజ్ తోని, ఒక్క మాట సీమ ఆంధ్ర నాయకుడిని మావోల్లు ఏమైనా అంటే జై కొడతాం, నీ చావుకు సమాధానం డిబేట్ లు కాదు, నీలాగా ఇంకొకడు చావకుండా ఉండేందుకు మార్గాలు వెదకటం..ఒక్క రక్తం చుక్క చిందకుండా ఉద్యమం చేసినం అనే వాళ్లకి ఒకటే ప్రశ్న..రక్తపు చుక్కలు కాదు, శవాలు గుట్టలు ఐ పడుతున్నై, ఇది హింస కాదు..పిరికి, పిచ్చి తనం, కదా! మీ వ్యూహాత్మక మౌనాలు, ఎవడో ఏదో చేస్తాడని చూడడాలు, దాగుడు మూతలు, తెలంగానానని కేవలం కాంగ్రెస్, టీడిపి లకు వదిలేసి, చేతులు దులుపుకున్న నాయకత్వం, సంఘాలు, జాక్లు..ఎం చేయాలే, ఎవడిని అడగాలి, ఉద్యమానికి దిక్కు లేదు, నాయకులు లేరు, అపుడపుడు మాట్లాడితే, మాట్లాడే బొమ్మలం ఐటము కాని నాయకులం కాదు. ఆనాడు రాజశేకర్ రెడ్డి ఈ గడ్డ దాటి అవతలకి పోయి, తెలంగాణాకి పోవాలంటే వీసాలు కావలె అని కూసిండు, ఇయ్యాల టిడిపి వాళ్ళు గుంటూర్ల కూసోని ఆత్మాహుతి దాడులు చేస్తాం అంటున్నారు. దోచుకున్నోడికి అంత బాధ ఉంటె, డబ్బు సంచులు పోతాయే అని బాద ఉంటె, అంత పౌరుషం ఉంటె, ఇన్ని పానాలు పోగొట్టుకున్న మనకు ఒక్కనాడన్నా పౌరుషం రాదేం? ఎందుకు మాకు ఈ మాటలు , మంతనాలు? నీ చావు పోరాటాన్ని వెనుకకు తీసుక పోతుందీ కాని ముందుకు తీసుక పోతలేదు..మీ కోరికలు, తీరని కోరికలై మిగలనున్నాయి. ఎవడు చలిస్తాడు మన చావులని చూసి? రక్తం మరిగిన పులి లెక్ఖ పదవులకి మరిగి, పైసల దాహం తీరకుండా ఉన్నారు..పార్లమెంట్ల తమ్ముడు చస్తే మనసున్నోడు ఎం చేయాలే? సోనియమ్మ బొమ్మ తగలేయ్యలె, పార్టీ సబ్యాత్వానికి రాజీనామా చెయ్యాలే..మీరు కూడు పెట్టలేక పొతే, దేశాలు పట్టుకు పోఇనం, మీరు భూములియ్యకపోతే, నీల్లియ్యకపోతే , పోరాగాన్డ్లని బిచ్చగాళ్ళుగా చేసి రోడ్ల మీద పడ్డం, ఇపుడు, మీకు కళ్ళు తెరిపించడానికి శవాలామై వ్రేలాడుతున్నాం, తమ్మి నువ్వు ఊరి వేసుకున్న చెట్టు ఎంత బాద పడ్డాడో తమ్మి, నీలాంటి మంచోళ్ళు ఈ లోకం ఇడిచి పోతున్నారని, కాల్చుకున్నం , బూడిదయినం, , కోసుకున్నాం , ముక్కలు ముక్కలు అయినం, ఏమ్చేయలె, నాచావు చూసి అయినా..ఎంత మంది రాసిన్రో అమాయకులు.., పెన్నులు గన్ను లైతాయి అంటరు..నువ్వు చనిపోయే ముందు నువ్వు రాసిన పెన్ను ఒక్కటన్నా బాంబు అయి ఒక్కొక్కడిని పెల్చలేదా? గన్నులై పెలలేవా? మాకు మాట మాత్రం అన్న చెప్పలేవా మైకులై? మాఫ్ కరో భాయియో..హమ్ హార్ గయి!
హైట్ అఫ్ చీటింగ్! హిపోక్రసి, డిసీట్! బిడ్డ పుట్టాలి అంటే పురిటి నొప్పులు పడాలే, విత్తనం మొలకేత్తలంటే భూమి చీల్చుకు రావాలే, ఒక గాయం మానాలంటే , అది కాన్సర్ కాకుండా ఉండాలంటే దానిని పెకిలించి తీయాలే..భాద అనివార్యం, కాని ఫలితం శాశ్వతం..శత్రువుని జయించాలంటే వాడి నాడీ మీద దెబ్బ కొట్టాలె..మన సీమాంద్ర కుక్కలకు ఇక్కడ ప్రాంతం మీద ప్రేమ అంటే కేవలం వారి వ్యాపారాలు, డబ్బులు..వాటికి దెబ్బ తగలకుండా..నువ్వు నేను భాయి భాయి అన్నంత కాలం తెలంగాణా రాదు! ఇంత చిన్న విషయం మనకు తెలవదా అంటే తెలుసు కాని, వాళ్ల లావా దేవిల్లో మనం కూడా ఉన్నాం కదా, నిజాలు బయట పెట్టడానికి దిలీప్ అన్న లాంటి వాళ్ళు తలచు కుంటే పెద్ద కష్టం కాదు! ఒద్దులే, ఆ పాపాలు చూసి మల్లెంత మంది చస్తారో. అమ్మ దిగి రావాలంటే మన అసలు రూపం చూపించాలే..అమ్మ బొమ్మ పెట్టుకుని, యాది రెడ్డి మారణ వార్త కు సంతాపం ప్రకటించడం కాదు నాయకుల్లార! న్యాయం వైపు ఉండండి, మీరు కుక్కల్లెక్క పదవులు ఇడవరు అని , ఆ దేవతకి తెలుసు, అన్ద్రోల్లకూ తెలుసు.. అంతా గిన్నిస్ బుక్ లో చోటు సంపాదిన్చేతంతా గొప్ప నటులు అని మాకు తెలుసు, తెలవనిదల్లా మా పిచ్చి పోరాగాల్లకు మాత్రమె. ఒకడు చంద్రబాబు బొమ్మ పెట్టుకొని తెలంగాణా తెస్తాడు అంటడు, మేము నమ్మాలే..లేకపోతె చేసేది ఏమి లేదు..ఇక్కడ అడ్డుకునే శక్తులు కాని, నోరు మూయించే ప్రయత్నాలు జరుగవు..ఇంకొకడు సోనియమ్మ బొమ్మ కి భక్తి పూర్వకంగా పూజ చేస్తుంటాడు, యాది రెడ్డి శవం సాక్షిగా! అయినా వాడు కూడా తెలంగాణా తెస్తాడని నమ్మాలె..ఇంకొకడు దొరికిందే చాన్స్ అని దొంగ సంతకాలు, దొంగతనంగా దోచుకుంటాడు, మళ్లీ మా మౌనం, కోయి బాత్ నహిన్ భాయ్! ఆఉర్ ఎక్ లాష్! ఆజ్ నహిన్ తో కల్! యది రెడ్డి నహిన్ తో యదయ్యా! కుచ్ ఫరక్ నహి పడ్తా! ఆజ్ మరే తో కల్ దూస్ర దిన్! అసలు రాజకీయ నాయకులకి కథ, స్క్రీన్ ప్లే, దర్శకత్వం అంత సోనియంమేనా లేకపోతె లగడ పాతినా, ఏదో ఒకటి తెల్చేసేయండి, సస్పెన్స్ తో మరీ చస్తున్నాం..మీది అంతా ఒకటే కులం, మతం..భాషా..డబ్బు! డబ్బు! డబ్బు!
ఆదివారాలు వంటా వార్పులు, సోమవారాలు నిరాహార దీక్షలు, ఇట్లా అన్ని వారాలు మొక్కులు మొక్కుకుంటే తెలంగాణా రాదు. ఇంత మంది మేధావులకి ఇంత చిన్న విషయం తెలవదా లేక మజాక్ గిట్ల చేస్తున్నర..పోరగాండ్లు చస్తున్నారు, ఇంకా బందు పెట్టండి చచ్చు పోరాట రూపాలు. ఆరు నెలలు సావాసం చేస్తే వారు వీరు ఐతరంతా..ఇన్నేండ్లు సావాసం చేసి మీరు వారు ఐన్రా నాయకులారా? పిల్లి పిల్లలను కాపాడుకుంటది, పులి కూడా పంది కూడా, జంతువులు పక్షులు అన్ని తమ పిల్లలని ప్రాణం అడ్డు వేసి, అడ్డం వొచ్చినోడ్ని చంపి మరి కాపాడుకుంటాయి. ఇంత పెద్ద తెలంగాణాల , ఇంత బలగం పెట్టుకొని మనం మన పిల్లలని ఎందుకు కాపాడుకోలేక పోతున్నాం? వారు ఏదో కమిటీ వేస్తారట అందులో మూడు ప్రాంతాల వారు ఉంటారు అంట , . ఒక్క లగడ పాటి ఉంటె చాలు క్రిష్న కమిటీనే కొని పాడేసిండు..ఇంకా పది మంది తోటి మీ చాత కాదులే కాని, కమీటీల జోలికి పోకండి జర! రాజీనామాలు కాదు , దమ్ముంటే సభ్యత్వానికి రాజీనామా చేయండి, అందరం అన్ద్రోల్ల కి చాయ్, ఇడ్లి లు అమ్ముకుంటూ బతుకుదాం, సెక్రటేరియట్ ముందు..
హెల్ విత్ పొలిటిషియన్స్! తెలంగాణా పౌరుషం చూపే సమయం వచ్చింది..లోపట ఉన్న పులిని రెచ్చ కొట్టండి, దొంగ వెధవలు పిల్లుల్లెక్క పారి పోక పొతే చూడండ్రి..సామ ,బెద , దాన, దండోపాయాలు..పెద్దలు చెప్పినవే.
యాదిరెడ్డి ఆత్మ ఘోష , వేదన ఒక్క నాయకుడిని అన్న మార్చుతుంది అనే ఆశతో!

Anti-Telangana people should “obey” Cong decision on statehood
Pointing out that the Congress has always remained committed to the creation of Telangana state and had also taken a ‘decision’ in this regard, senior minister of Andhra Pradesh Ponnala Lakshmaiah posed 18 questions to “anti-Telangana people” today seeking to know why they were opposing the bifurcation now. Ponnala, in an open letter, questioned why the “anti-Telangana people” did not raise any objection when the Andhra Pradesh state Assembly passed a resolution on February 12, 2009 stating that the “government has no objection to the formation of Telangana state in principle.”
Ponnala, who was among the 12 ministers from Telangana in the Andhra Pradesh Cabinet who resigned from the membership of the state Assembly on July 4, directed his questions mainly at his party colleagues from Andhra-Rayalaseema regions even as the latter intensified lobbying in New Delhi in support of a unified state. He questioned why no objections were raised when all political parties included the Telangana issue in their election manifestos during 2009 elections and when the Congress Legislature Party passed a resolution in December 2009 authorising the party high command on the formation of a separate state. Why did anybody not raise any objection when the Congress party entered into an electoral alliance in 2004 with other parties (read Telangana Rashtra Samiti) with the ‘single point agenda’ of (creating) a separate state and incorporated the Telangana issue in the election manifesto, Ponnala asked.
The “anti-Telangana people” should realise that the Congress high command “has already taken a decision” on the issue, Ponnala said and “advised” everyone to “obey” it in the light of Union Home Minister P Chidambaram’s statement on December 9, 2009.

Today on 20 July at around 7.30am, Mandadi Yadi Reddy –a student from Ranga Reddy district of Telangana– hung himself to death in front of Krishi Bhavan, a stones’ throw away from the Parliament, the North Block and South Block, and from Rashtrapati Bhavan. In his 20-page suicide note written in Telugu, he demanded the formation of Telangana state without any delay.
The Delhi Police and the political class at the Centre who directs it, tried its best to temper with the note written by Mandadi Yadi Reddy, wishing to portray it as a common case of suicide. They tried to hush-up the incident fearing that Mandadi Yadi Reddy’s martyrdom will further stoke the ongoing peoples’ struggle for Telangana. They are scared that Telangana youths have come to the country’s capital – and to its political nerve-centre, the Parliament/North Block– to register their protest by taking the extreme step of suicide. There has been a concerted attempt also to completely black-out the news of this suicide in the so-called ‘national media’ in a condemnable act of corporate media’s self-censorship in order to please the Central government.
Mandadi Yadi Reddy’s suicide is only the latest of the more than 600 Telangana youth who took their own lives for the cause of Telangana. They, along with the people of Telangana, have rightly accused the Central government of deliberate manipulations to delay the formation of Telangana state. The Union Home Minister himself promised the formation of the state on 9 December 2009, only to back out a few days later. After this, there has been only deception and delay by the Congress-led UPA government on the issue Telangana, testing the patience of the people of Telangana and especially its students and youth, who have waited for five decades for their own state. The Indian state is responding with brutal repression to crush the democratic aspirations of the people, and have turned the campuses in Telangana into police camps.
The Central government run by the Manmohan-Sonia-Chidambaram is squarely responsible for the martyrdom of Mandadi Yadi Reddy and hundreds of others who have died for separate Telangana state. It is high time that the Indian state takes an immediate decision to form Telangana state, or else be prepared to face in the days ahead for an intense struggle of the people fighting for their democratic rights.

Sense and consensus: Lessons from history
Anyone who had a ringside seat during the tumultuous event of 1972-73 in Andhra Pradesh knows the sequence of events that took place at that time. But that was a generation ago and much dirty water has flowed down the Musi heading for the Krishna Delta.
The Telengana agitation of 1969 –71 led into the General Election of 1971. The Telengana Praja Samithi (TPS) contested the election on the single issue of a separate state for Telengana and defeated the Congress Party – the only other political force in the region – and secured 10 of the 14 parliamentary seats to the TPS. The will of the Telangana people was clearly expressed.
Subsequently at the persuasion of Mrs. Indira Gandhi, the TPS merged with the Congress and P V Narasimha Rao was made Chief Minister in mid-1971 with a Cabinet of 28 ministers of which 18 were from the Andhra region as also a Deputy Chief Minister Sri B V Subba Reddy, from Rayalaseema. The PV Government then proceeded to reduce the agricultural land ceiling to 12 acres of irrigated land by an Ordinance on 2nd May 1972 and followed it up by Assembly passing the Land Ceiling Act on 15th September, 1972 This sparked off a tidal wave of anger in the Coastal Andhra region from the kulaks – formerly with the Communist Party but now all bourgeois capitalist farmers in the Congress.
But with the success of the Bangladesh War, two-thirds majority in the Assembly and more importantly two-thirds also in the Lok Sabha, Mrs. Indira Gandhi was the virtual “Empress of India”. The Coastal Andhra kulak-politicians had little choice but to disguise the cause of their opposition to the land reform and the P. V. Narasimha Rao government
The State Assembly election of 1972 saw the Congress Party under PV get a, 80% majority in the House (219 out of the 270 seats) and this enabled the introduction of drastic land reforms to be implemented despite kulak vested interest in the Party.
As the British academic and former MP, Hugh Gray wrote: “The Kamma landlords of the Coastal districts were among the dominant agricultural castes incensed by P V Narasimha Rao’s reforming zeal. The Kamma caste had lost in power to the ubiquitous Reddis when Andhra Pradesh was formed, as there were no Kamma in the Telangana. Kammas such as Professor Ranga (then in the Swatantra Party), had been among the first to support the demand for a separate Telengana in 1969 and they were now joined by many others in discussing the desirability of a separating Telangana and Andhra.”
This chance for the Andhra politicians and kulak farmers came soon enough in October 3, 1972, when the Supreme Court upheld the Constitutional validity of the Mulki Rules of the Nizam’s Government giving protection in government jobs to residents of Telengana. This was the occasion for the Jai Andhra agitation for a separate Andhra state, which reached its peak in December 1972, with Andhra separatist flags on public buildings and offices in Vijaywada and Guntur and spreading to the other districts. Roads were blocked, police firing on agitators resulted in deaths, telephone and railway and road links were snapped.
The DyCM and nine other Andhra ministers (out of 18 Andhra Ministers) resigned during December 1972. Kakani Vekatarathnam, the popular Kamma leader, died on Christmas Day, 1972 and nearly 5 lakhs mourners turned up for his funeral with the CRP and police withdrawn to facilitate the occasion.
Fearing a unanimous resolution in favor of bifurcation in the APCC and also in the Assembly due to meet shortly, the High Command dissolved the APCC on 11th January 1973 and appointed an Ad Hoc Committee. On January 12th , another eight ministers were sworn in. Under High Command’s instructions, the Ad Hoc Committee asked the CM to resign on 16th January and he followed orders on 17th January 1973. Following this, President’s Rule was proclaimed on 18th January in the State – where Congress Party had two-thirds majority in the Assembly!! On January 23rd 1973, 114 Congressmen from Andhra handed in their resignations from the Party to B. V. Subba Reddy and the Andhra Congress Action Committee sent an ultimatum to the Center to concede separation by February 5th, 1973
By January 1973 it was clear that the entire polity – both in Andhra and Telangana – were in favor of bifurcation. Thus consensus was at last achieved and an amicable solution possible. But the High Command was not in favor.
As Hugh Gray says: “ It is difficult to know why the demand for a separate Andhra failed, leaving aside the prime Minister’s firm decision not to concede it…. Although expressed more efficiently and forcibly, the demand for a speared Andhra never had the same emotional drive as the demand for separate Telangana”.
Again in 2006, in the wake of another renewal of the Telangana statehood agitation, the Coastal Andhra leaders met in Vijaywada on the 34th anniversary of Kakani Venkatratnam’s death on 25th December. The meeting included Kavuri Sambasiva Rao (Congress MP from Eluru), Pinnamaneni Koteswara Rao (former Zilla Parishad chairman and father of Higher Education Minister P Venkateswara Rao), Vasantha Nageswara Rao (AP State Cooperative Bank chairman), Chanumolu Venkata Rao (legislator and former minister), Paladugu Venkat Rao (former minister), Ch V P Murthy Raju (former minister), Kadiyala Raghava Rao (former ZP chairman), Karnati Ramamohana Rao (eminent advocate) and Yalamanchili Sivaji and Yarlagadda Lakshmi Prasad (former TDP MPs).
“In the wake of a strong sentiment prevailing in Telangana region for a separate state, they felt that the time is ripe for bifurcation of Andhra Pradesh into two separate states — Telangana and Andhra — without any rancour”.
Reacting to the Vijayawada meeting, Andhra Pradesh Congress Committee president K Keshava Rao is reported to have said: “There was nothing wrong with the demand by Coastal leaders for separate Andhra state when a similar demand was made for separate Telangana state.”
TRS president Chandrasekhar Rao is said to have welcomed the call for separate Andhra, saying: “There is no need for rancour. People of Telangana and Andhra should respect each other even during the process of separation,” he said
At least after the recent consensus on Telangana separation on 6th December 2009 by an All -Party meeting and a unanimous resolution of the Congress Legislature Party, the High Command and Government took into consideration in making the declaration for Telangana statehood on 9th December 2009.
Thus it will be seen that every time – 1973, 2006, 2009 – when there was consensus, the High Command chose to ignore it and act against it. It is about time this extraordinary consensus over the last 37 years at least is implemented without any vested interests coming in the way.

T-Congress leaders to meet Azad
Hoping that Azad would clarify his remarks, Telangana Congress leaders have decided to meet him either on Thursday or Friday in Delhi. Though they have initially declined to meet him, they softened their stand after they received a call from him again. Yesterday, in an attempt at pacification, Azad said that consultations will be held with party leaders from coastal Andhra, Rayalaseema and Telangana.
“We hope he (Azad) would clarify his remarks,” said MP Gutta Sukhender Reddy.
Last week Azad made unthoughtful that discussions on carving out a separate Telangana state should begin from scratch.
In the meanwhile, Telangana Congress leaders have called upon party cadres to observe ‘satyagraha’ tomorrow.

Telangana Congress leaders to hold satyagraha on July 20th
Telangana Congress leaders decided on Monday to conduct Satyagraha at all the 493 mandal headquarters in the region between 10 am and 5 pm on July 20.
The public representatives, who included ministers, MPs, MLAs and MLCs, also planned to organise a ‘flag festival’ by unveiling a Congress flag with Telangana map emblazoned on it at their respective places on July 26. Public meetings will also be held.
The Congress public representatives, who resigned on July 4, held a meeting here which was attended by the party’s ZP chairpersons, MPTCs, ZPTCs, MPPs and hundreds of their followers from 10 districts in the region.
They decided not to take back their resignations till the Centre made a statement in favour of Telangana.
Minister and committee chairman K Jana Reddy urged the central Government to form Telangana as the 31st state.The minister cited Sudan, which was recently divided into two countries South and North Sudan after a referendum, as an example. South Sudan had sought separation.K Keshava Rao asserted that they would not take back their resignations till their goal was achieved.
A majority of the leaders urged deputy chief minister C Damodar Rajanarsimha and deputy speaker M Bhatti Vikramarka to quit their posts and join the movement.
Four ministers (Jana Reddy, B Saraiah, D Sridhar Babu, K Venkata Reddy), nine MPs (G Sukhender Reddy, P Prabhakar, M Jagannadham, S Rajaiah, G Vivek, K Rajagopal Reddy, P Balram Naik, Madhu Yashki Goud and K Keshava Rao), 14 MLAs and five MLCs attended the meeting.

Telangana congress; People should rein it
In the game of chess there is a stage called END GAME where all the forces; ministers, horses, elephants and other forces are arrayed and take up position just before the high voltage drama of tumult begins in earnest. Telangana is in a similar stage now.
The precipitous move was initiated by KCR, as always, by going to Jana Reddy’s house. Resignations followed in a domino like effect in a rapid sequence. The final blow of phase one of this end game is Jaipal Reddy’s declaration and confession to the prime minister that he can no longer withstand or cope with Telangana public pressure.
Jaipal reddy is a peculiar politician. He started his career as a sort of a Young-Turk fighting against Bofors and the dynastic rule but finally preferred to join them to give a fillip to his stagnant political career. He wanted to hang his boots as an intellectual politician with some sort of legacy to recall or at least be without the blemish of being a betrayer of his land. This sober and moderate politician is a misfit in congress; but what can one say about the power of the position and limelight? But whatever his interests and apprehensions may be; his decisive act has moved the history of formation of Telangana forward.
Congress has been woken out of its slumber by the resignations of the MPs and state legislators. It never realised that urge for Telangana is so strong. Ultimately it appears that it is intelligence failure and information blockade. Congress is filled and encircled by the cronies who have to constantly declare their slave status by saying that the high command’s word is final. Congress bosses PM or Sonia collect their information and intelligence through the governor, police top brass, CM and the 4 contractor politicians from Andhra who have enormous money and media power who did not let the social misery of Telangana reach queen Sonia. Death of the Telangana youth is the sign of misery. Today the state is ruled on a military model which suits congress’s rule. The current policeman governor, police top brass, Andhra contractor politicians and corporate (through its media) made Telangana invisible to Delhi.
The congress politicians are forced to resign by Telangana populace. Now suddenly they want to run the agitation themselves without joining the political JAC. Everyone is trying to reap the political benefits of separate Telangana. It is ok if one fights for it earnestly. There is an Urdu saying in Hyderabad “pan khud pe thook lekhe shaheedhon me ghus gaya”. TDP is exactly trying to do that.
Where do we go from here? Congress has mounted the lion. It cannot get down until it reaches the goal, lest it is gobbled up by the Telangana agitation. Jaipal reddy broke the taboo and has jumped the gun and the projectile will run its course now. Congress fellows are looking for the spoils of the war now. We have entered into competitive agitation mode by all the parties who want to prove that they are the ones who won Telangana for us to reap the political benefits.
I appreciate KCR for his quite profile and indulging congress a bit to let it take the front seat till we get to Telangana; and egg congress to indulge in competitive agitation so that they reach a point of no return and cannot retract.
KCR, TRS political JAC should continue their agitation with the students ,Paja-sangalu, employees, mining workers; and constantly sensitise people of congress’s betrayal history and prevent them from doing it again.
I am pretty sure they (KCR, TRS political JAC) are aware of it; after all it is they who made Telangana realisable.

హరిత విప్లవ ఆంధ్రను అందలమెక్కిచింది. తెలంగాణనుఅణగదొక్కింది. ప్రాజెక్టులు రాలేదు కని ప్రాజెక్టు కింద పండే షావుకారు పంటలొచ్చినయి. చేనుకు దాహమెక్కువైంది, భూముల పదన తక్కువైంది. పల్లెలల్ల పత్తి మిత్తై కూసింది. వరి రైతు మెడకు ఉరి బిగించింది.
ఉహ తెలిసిన నాటి నుంచి మనసును పట్టి ఊపుతున్న కాల్పనిక ప్రపంచం సినిమా. ఆలోచన, భావన సృజన అన్నింటినీ సినిమా తన్మయం చేసింది. జీవితం సినిమా అయిపోయినట్లు విషాదంలోనూ, వినోదంలోనూ ఒక బ్యాక్క్షిగౌండ్ మ్యూజిక్ మోగుతున్నట్లే భ్రమ. చిన్నప్పుడు కొట్లాడుకుంటుంటే కూడా డిష్షుం డిష్షుం అనే చప్పుడు నోటి అప్రయత్నంగా వెలువడేది.
జానపదాలు చూసిన ప్రభావం చిన్నప్పుడు ఎంత వెంటాడేదంటే..చేతుల కళ్ళాన్ని పట్టుకొని నోటితోని గుర్రం గిట్టల ధ్వనిని చేసుకుంటు కాలొకటి ఎగరేసుకుంటు పంచకళ్యాణి మీద దూసుకపోవుడే కని మామూలుగా నడిచేదా? ఎలితెబద్దలకు సుతిలి దారాలుగట్టి బాణాలు తయారు చేసుకొని నుదుటికి ఆనించుకుని అచ్చం ఎన్టీ రామారావు వలనె మంత్రించి అస్త్రాలు వదిలితే రవికాంత్ నగాయిచ్ ట్రిక్ ఫోటోక్షిగఫీలో దూసుకపోతున్నట్టు అబ్బ చెప్పరాని సంబురం.వంకరటింకర కట్టె ఒకటి కనబడితె అదే చేతుల మంత్రదండంగా మారిపోయేది. రాజనాలంత భీకరంగా ‘సర్పకేశీ’ అని భూతాలను ఆవాహన చేసుడు. జ్వాలాదీప రహస్యాలను కనుక్కొని మంత్రగాని ప్రాణమున్న భరిణెను దొరికించుకొని చిత్రవధ చేసి వధించేంది.
దీపావళి తుపాకులు తీసుకొని గోడచాటుకు దాక్కుంటు నడుమ నడుమ తల బయటకు పెట్టుకుంట అచ్చం డిటెక్టివ్ సినిమాల వలనె తూటాలు పేల్చుడు, తూటాలను తప్పించుకునుడు. చిన్నతనం ఆటల మీద సినిమా వేసిన ముద్రలు. ఎన్టీఆర్ నుంచి చిరంజీవి దాకా సినిమా తిరిగిన మలుపులే తలపులు.
ఇప్పుడు పరాయికరణ విషపు నీడలను పోల్చుకుంటున్న సందర్భంలో వలసపాము వేయి పడగలలో ఒకటిగా కోరలు సాచి కనిపిస్తున్నది సినిమా. పెట్టుబడి నాపుట్టువడిని ఏమార్చింది. నా సహజత్వాన్ని, స్వాభావికతని, స్థానిక మూలాలను నా నుండి వేరు చేసింది. పురిటి శిశువుగా ఉన్ననాడే కల్తీ కలి నీళ్లను చల్లింది. ఏం సినిమాలు చూసినం, సినిమాల ఎవరి జీవితం చూసినం.
ఎన్నడు సినిమాల మన మొఖాలు కనపడలె. మన మహోజ్వల గతం వెండితెర మీద వెలుగలే. మన పోరాటాలు, ఆరాటాలు, జీవన సౌందర్యాలు, మనవైన ప్రేమలు, మనదైన భావుకతలు ఎక్కడా కనిపంచలే. మన ఊర్లు, మన పేర్లు మన భాష వేశం ఏది? ఎన్నడు మనం చూసుకోలే. కథ వాళ్లదే. వాళ్లే కథానాయకలు. నాయకులుపతినాయకులు అంతా వాళ్లే. వాళ్ల సమాజం ఎట్లెట్ల మారితె సినిమా అట్లట్ల మారింది.కోస్తా సామాజిక పరి ణామమే మనకు చిరపరిచితము, తెరపరిచితము అయ్యింది.తెలంగాణ సమాజం మాత్రం అపరిచితమైంది.
అక్కడి జాతీయోద్యమం చెదురుమదు రు ఘటనలే తొలినాటి సినిమాలు. ధవళేశ్వరం కట్టకింద పండిన వ్యవసాయ మిగులులోంచి జమీందార్లు, జమీందారుగారి అబ్బాయిలు దసరా బుల్లోళ్లు ,సారా పెట్టుబడుల నుంచి పుట్టిన దొంగలకు దొంగలు, కేడీ నెం 1 మాఫియా సినిమాలు, ఇప్పుడు కార్పొరేట్ ప్రపంచాన్ని ఏలుతున్న మిస్టర్ ఫర్ ఫెక్ట్ అన్నీ వారి లీలలే.
నలుపు తెలుపుల నాడే సినిమా మన అస్తిత్వాన్ని నలిపేసింది. కాలువ నీటిలో గూడ వేసుకుంటు ఆడుతు పాడుతు పనిచేస్తుంటే అలుపు సలుపేమున్నది అని నాగేశ్వరరావు, జమునలు పాడుకున్న ‘తోడికోడళ్లు’(1957)నాటికే వాళ్లు కాలువల్లో గూడ వేసి నీళ్లు తోడుకున్నరు.ఆడుతూ పాడుతూ పని చేస్తుం అలుపు సొలుపేమున్నదని పాడుకున్నరు. కాల్వలకింద ఎవుసమాయె అలుపెట్లుంటది? సొలుపెట్లుంటది? ఏటికేతంబెట్టి ఎయిపుట్లు పండించినా ఎన్నడూ మెతుకెరుగని మన వెతలు వెండితెర కథలు కాలేదు. నోటిలో సిగార్, సూటుబూటుతో డుప్లెక్స్ ఇంటిలో ఇంటిమధ్యన మెట్లమించి దిగే ఎస్వీరంగారావు అటువంటి ధనికరైతులు మన జాగల ఇప్పటికీ పుట్టలే. మన దొరలకు గూడ అంత వైభోగం లేదు. ఇంగ్లీషు వాళ్ల వ్యవహారం వంటబట్టించుకున్నోళ్లాయె.
ఇంగ్లీషు కల్చర్ను అనుకరిస్తూ ఇంట్ల పియానో పెట్టుకుంటరు. హాలులో పియానో మీద వేళ్లు ఆడిస్తూ హీరో పాటలు బాల్కనీలో హీరోయిన్ అరమోడ్పు కన్నుల భావుకత లోకాలు మన జీవితాలలో ఎన్నడూ ఎరుగని దృశ్యాలు. కోస్తాగట్టులు, కొబ్బరిచెట్లు, మామిడితోపులు, మావా పిలుపులు మన బతుకును అతకని అసంబద్ధ సన్నివేశాలు.మత్తడిదూకే చెరువుల, అలుగును దాటుతున్న కచ్చురాలు, మోటచిమ్మల మీంచి దుంకి ఈదులాడే పిల్లలు, వెన్నెల రాత్రులలో కోలన్నలు, మన బతుకు రుచి, బతుకమ్మ సౌరభం, మన కంటికి కనపడకుండా చేసిన మాయపొర ఈ వెండితెర.

చేనుకు దాహమెక్కువైంది, భూముల పదన తక్కువైంది. పల్లెలల్ల పత్తి మిత్తై కూసింది. వరి రైతు మెడకు ఉరి బిగించింది. పజ్జొన్న పంటపోయింది. పిసికిల్లు మేసేపిట్టలు వలసపోయినయి. అదే హరితవిప్లవం పుట్టించిన పైసల ఆంధ్రాల అందాల ‘సోగ్గాడు’ శోభన్బాబు పుట్టిండు. సోగ్గాడు సినిమాల శోభన్బాబు మెరుపుల మెరుపుల అంగీ వేసుకొని హైద్రాబాద్లో ఆదర్శరైతు అవార్డు తీసుకుంటడు. ఆంధ్రల ఆదర్శరైతులు పుట్టిన క్రమానికి తెలంగాణ రైతు ఆత్మహత్యలకు దగ్గరయిన క్రమానికి మధ్య ఉన్న చిత్రమేందో ఇప్పుడు అర్థమవుతున్నది. సూపర్ స్టార్ కృష్ణ ‘పాడి పంటలు’ సినిమాల మనం చూసింది ఎవని పాడి? ఎవని పంట? ఊరంతా సంక్రాంతి అసలైన పండుగ అని డ్యాన్సు రాకున్నా ఎగురుతుంటే మనమెందుకు సంబురపడ్డం? మన పండుగ దసర గదా? పాలపిట్టల జూసిన పారవశ్యాలు, జొన్నకపూరల జెండాల జులాస్లు,జంబి పంచుకుని అలాయ్ బలాయ్ తీసుకునే ఆత్మీయ తలు ఎన్నడన్న ఎప్పుడన్న ఏ సినిమాలన్న జూస్తిమా? తెలంగాణ జీవన సంస్కృతి ఎన్నడూ కానని అంధత్వం ఆంధ్ర సినిమాది.
సోగాళ్లు మాత్రమే కాదు, గళ్లలుంగీ జాలి జాలి అంగీ, ముఖం మీద పులిపిరి, మెడల పులిగోరు ఈ రౌడీలు మన ప్రాంతంల పుట్టిన్రా. పుట్టే అవకాశముందా? ఈ బెజవాడ రౌడీలే ముదిరి అసెంబ్లీరౌడీలైన్రు. ఇయ్యాల తెలంగాణకు ఎట్లన్న అణగవట్టాపూనని చూస్తున్నరు.
పాత సినిమాలల్ల పట్నం అంటే చెన్నాపట్నమే తప్ప మన హైద్రాబాద్ కాదు. సినిమా పేరేందో యాదికొస్తలేదు 1956 తర్వాత వచ్చింది. అండ్ల మొదటిసారి విలన్ హీరోయిన్ హైదరాబాద్కు ఎత్తుకొస్తడు. కాపాడెటందుకు బయలుదేరిన హీరో రామారావుతో తల్లి ‘అయ్యో హైద్రాబాద్ వంటి పరాయి ప్రాంతానికి పోతున్న కొడుకును చూసి గాభారాపడుతది. దానికి హీరో రామారావు ఫర్వాలేదులే అమ్మా ఇప్పుడక్కడ మనవాళ్లు చేరిపోయివూనని భరోసా ఇస్తడు. విలీనం తర్వాత హైదరాబాద్పై వలసవాద వ్యక్తీకరణ అది. 1957లో వచ్చిన ఎమ్మెల్యే సినిమాల ఆరుద్ర రాసిన ఇదేనండి ఇదేనండి భాగ్యనగరము అనే పాట వలసకు తొవ్వజూపిస్తున్నట్లుంటది.1969 ఉద్యమాన్ని వేర్పాటువాదంగా చిత్రీకరించేందుకు ఎన్టీఆర్ సినిమాను ప్రయోగించిండు. ‘తల్లా పెళ్ళామా’ సినిమాల తెలుగుజాతి మనదీ అనే పాట సమైక్యవాదులకు ఆయన అందించిన ఆయుధమే.
రామారావు పాలన ఆలంబనగా వలస హైదరాబాద్ను అనకొండ చుట్టినట్టు చుట్టింది. రామారావు రాజకీయ ప్రవేశానికి పత్రికలు, సినిమాలే వాతావరణ కల్పన చేసినయి. తెలంగాణ కాంగ్రెస్ నాయకులను బఫూన్ల వలె చూపిస్తూ సినిమాలు వచ్చినయి. హైద్రాబాద్కు సముద్రం కావాపూనని డిమాండ్ చేసేంత మూర్ఖులు తెలంగాణ నాయకులు అన్నట్లు సినిమాల్లో పాత్రలు సృష్టించిన్రు. ప్రగతిశీల సినిమాలు తీసిన టి. కృష్ణ కూడా ప్రతిఘటన సినిమాల వెంకటస్వామిని పోలిన పాత్రను పెట్టి వెక్కిరించిండే తప్ప ఆ సినిమాకు కాసులు సమకూర్చిన వలసవాదాన్ని ప్రతిఘటించలేదు.
పట్నం శివారుల్ని చాపచుడుతున్న ఆంధ్ర నయా జమీందార్ల కన్నా కోడిరామకృష్ణకు, కొత్తదాసు, ముక్కా నరసింగరావు తరహా చోటా మోటా దాదాలలోనే ఎక్కువ విలనిజం కనిపించింది. రామిడ్డి వేషానికి రౌడీ ముసుగు తగిలించాడు. రాంగోపాల్వర్మ కాలానికి హైద్రాబాద్లో బెజవాడలు లేచిన యి. ఎక్కడ చూసినా గుంటూరు బస్సులు, ఆంధ్రా మెస్సులు బందరు లడ్లు, స్వగృహా పుడ్లు మొలిచినయి. హైద్రాబాద్ పూర్తిగా బెజవాడకాలేదని రాంగోపాల్వర్మకు మా చెడ్డ చిరాకు.విజయవాడ కన్నుతోటి హైద్రాబాద్ను చూసే రాంగోపాల్వర్మ ఇక్కడి ఆటోవాళ్లను తన సినిమాలల్ల వెటకారం చేస్తడు. ‘శివ’ సినిమాల నాగార్జున ఆంధ్రా నుంచి వచ్చి నిజాం కాలేజీలో చదువుతుంటడు. కాలేజీ క్యాంటీన్ల సర్వర్ యాదగిరి తెలంగాణ యాసల రామాయ ణం చెప్పుతుంటే తన విజయవాడ దోస్తులతోని కలిసి కక్కెడ కక్కెడ నవ్వుతడు. అది చూసి తెలంగాణ ప్రేక్షకులు నవ్విన్రు. ఆహా ఏమి దర్శకత్వ ప్రతిభ? సినిమా తెలంగాణ జీవితాన్ని ఎంత పరాయికరించిందో చెప్పేందుకు ఇంతకంటే బీభత్సం ఏం కావాలె?
ఇప్పుడు తెలుగు సినిమాలకు విలన్లు హైద్రాబాద్ యాదవులు. వీళ్లు ఆంధ్రావాళ్ల దృష్టికి దిష్టిబొమ్మల వలె కనిపిస్తున్నరు. రాజమౌళి ‘సై’సినిమాల భిక్షుయాదవ్ బర్రెల మధ్య బర్రె వలె ఉంటడు. కారుకు కూడా కొమ్ములు పెట్టుకొని తిరుగుతడు. సినిమాలలో యాదవుల పశుపాలన సంస్కృతిని అడుగడుగునా హేళన చేస్తున్నరు. రుమాలు చుట్టుకునుడు, కల్లు తాగుడు హైద్రాబాద్ విలన్లకు ఉండే అసహ్యకరమైన లక్షణాలు. హైద్రాబాద్ యాదవులు ఎంత పశువుల తీరుగ కనిపించకుంటే వి.వి.వినాయక్ విలన్కు ‘గొడ్డేశు’ అని పేరు పెడుతడు. హైద్రాబాద్ యాదవ స్త్రీలు రౌడీ శకుంతల వలె కనిపిస్తున్నరు వీళ్ల కండ్లకు.యాదగిరి పేరు జోకరుకు, సింహాద్రి పేరు హీరోకు పెడుతరు. గుంటూరు నుంచో గూడూరు నుంచో వచ్చిన హీరో హైద్రాబాద్ యాదవులను 15 రీళ్లు తన్నీ తన్నీ కంగాళగ ఉన్న హైద్రబాద్ను శుభ్రపరిచి శుభం కార్డు వేస్తడు. ఇది మన పాలిట సినిమా. ఇంకెన్నాళ్లు చూడాలె.
రామారావు కాంగనె బాలకృష్ణను నాగేశ్వరావు కాంగనె నాగార్జునను, నాగచైతన్యను, చిరంజీవి కాంగనె చిరుతను. అవును వాళ్లు చిరుతలు, మనం మిడుతలం. ఇగ చాలు మా నీళ్లు మాగ్గావాలె, మాభూములు మాగ్గావాలె అన్నట్లే మా సినిమాలు మాగ్గావపూనని గర్జిద్దాం. తెలంగాణ సినిమా యుగా న్ని, సినిమాలలో తెలంగాణ యుగాన్ని తెప్పిద్దాం. ఉద్యమ, ప్రవాహాలతో పునీతమైన మన నేల మీద మన మట్టిరంగుల సినిమాని మనమే నిర్మిద్దాం.

Telangana Congress leaders give jhalak to Azad
An extended meeting of Telangana Congress elected representatives and leaders on Monday unanimously decided not to respond to the meeting call of AICC general secretary in-charge of AP affairs Ghulam Nabi Azad in New Delhi until he takes back his controversial ‘Beijing statement” on Telangana. While on a visit to the Chinese capital last week, Azad had told the media that there was no question of moving even an inch on the Telangana issue until the state assembly passes a unanimous resolution in favour of the separate state.
The meeting attended by MP, MLAs, MLCs, ZP chairpersons, municipal chiefs and mandal presidents, along with scores of senior leaders, unanimously adopted a resolution urging the party high command to immediately take a decision on according statehood to Telangana.
“We are not against the talks. Telangana Congress leaders are well aware that talks alone are the way forward to resolve the Telangana tangle. But Azad’s anti-Telangana statement has vitiated the mood in the party. So, we have decided against attending the meeting called for by Azad with the region’s leaders on Monday,” Rajya Sabha member K Keshava Rao announced after the meeting. Azad was slated to meet with the Telangana party leaders in the national capital at 7 pm on Monday. Keshava Rao also ruled out the Congress MPs, MLAs and MLCs taking back their resignations unless there was a positive statement on Telangana.
Talking to the media, Nalgonda MP Gutha Sukhender Reddy said the people of Telangana are demanding an explanation from Azad with regard to his Beijing statement.
“The Telangana people are hurt by the Congress general secretary’s statement which amounted to rejecting the demand for a separate Telangana state. Azad owes an explanation to the Telangana people. Only then will we consider attending the talks,” Reddy said.
The Congress MP said the apprehensions of the Seemaandhra Congress leaders with regard to the future of the people of their regions if the state is divided as baseless. “We will clarify every doubt of the Seemaandhra leaders. Let an announcement be made first on the formation of the Telangana state. We will then answer the questions raised by the leaders from the other regions. Whether it be with regard to sharing of water, jobs, the capital, education or the status of Hyderabad. We have answers to these questions and will dispel their doubts,” Reddy added.
The opposition to attending the meeting convened by Azad was unanimous. MPs Madhu Yaskhi Goud, Komatireddy Rajagopal Reddy, Manda Jagannatham, S Rajaiah, Ponnam Prabhakar said, ” By his Beijing statement, Azad has proved that he is biased against Telangana. Therefore, talks are not possible with a biased leader.” All the MPs demanded that Azad retract his Beijing staetement. “It is unbecoming of a union minister to talk of an sensitive internal matter from foreign soil,” said Yaskhi.
Reflecting the mood in the rural area, DCC presidents urged the leaders not to take back the resignations till an announcement is made on the Telangana state. “The people are for a protracted struggle. There is all round solidarity for the Congress. People would not take it kindly if the MPs and MLAs who resigned go for talks without any concrete assurance on the statehood demand,” G Gangadhar, DCC president, Nizambad district said.
Similarly, Khammam DCC president Vanama Venkateswarlu briefed the meeting about the situation in his district. Despite the attempts by some senior leaders like Renuka Chowdary and others to dilute the Telangana movement, the people were strongly backing the fight for Telangana, he said.
Earlier in the day, the steering committee of T Congress leaders met at the residence of Nagarkurnool MP Jagannatham and decided to carry forward their fight for Telangana.
According to Sukhender Reddy, the party would observe a ‘ Satyagraha” on July 20 at every mandal headquarters. Similarly, party workers would celebrate a flag hoisting festival on July 26 by hoisting the Congress flag carrying a Telangana map on every house, office, tree and at every traffic junction.

హైదరాబాద్, జూలై 7 (టీ న్యూస్): ‘‘హైదరాబాద్ను ఎప్పుడూ తెలంగాణలో భాగంగానే పరిగణించాం. హైదరాబాద్కు ప్రత్యేక హోదా అనే ప్రతిపాదనెప్పుడూ బలంగా ముందుకు రాలేదు’’- ఇది కేంద్ర హోంశాఖ మాజీ కార్యదర్శి జీకే పిళై్ళ స్పష్టీకరణ. ‘‘హైదరాబాద్కు సంబంధించి చర్చల్లో ప్రస్తావన వచ్చింది. కాని హైదరాబాద్కు ప్రత్యేక హోదా కల్పించాలనే అంశంపైగానీ, చండీగఢ్ మాదిరిగా కేంద్ర పాలితవూపాంతం చేయాలనే అంశంపైగానీ తీవ్ర పరిశీలనేం జరగలేదు. ఉన్న సమస్యను పరిష్కరించే బదులు అది మరిన్ని సమస్యలకు కారణమవుతుందని భావించే అలా వ్యవహరించారు’’ అని ఆయన ‘టైమ్స్ ఆఫ్ ఇండియా’ ప్రతినిధికి చెప్పారు. ఆయన కిందటి వారం పదవీ విరమణ చేశారు. తెలంగాణపై కేంద్రం ఇప్పటికి నిర్ణయం తీసుకోవాల్సిందని, కాని యూపీఏ ప్రభుత్వం కొన్ని ఇబ్బందుల కారణంగా పరిష్కరించలేకపోతున్నట్లు కనిపిస్తోందని ఆయన అభివూపాయపడ్డారు. ‘‘శ్రీకృష్ణ కమిటీ చేసిన సిఫారసుల గురించి గుర్తు చేసుకోవాలి. ఆ కమిటీ ఉత్తమ పరిష్కార మార్గాలుగా ఆరో ప్రత్యామ్నాయ ప్రతిపాదన, ఐదో ప్రత్యామ్నాయ ప్రతిపాదనలను సూచించింది. తెలంగాణకు ఒక ప్రాంతీయ మండలిని ఏర్పాటు చేసి యథాతథస్థితిని కొనసాగించడం; తెలంగాణ, ఆంధ్ర ప్రాంతాలను విడదీసి తెలంగాణకు హైదరాబాద్ను రాజధానిగా ఉంచడం అనేవి ఆ ప్రతిపాదనలు. ఈ రెండింటిలోనూ హైదరాబాద్ తెలంగాణలో భాగంగానే ఉంటుంది’’ అని ఆయన గుర్తుచేశారు. ఇదివరలో డిసెంబర్ 10, 2009న ఆయన తెలంగాణకు హైదరాబాద్ రాజధానిగా ఉంటుందని స్పష్టం చేసినప్పుడు పెద్ద వివాదం చెలరేగింది. తెలంగాణ ఏర్పాటుకు ప్రభుత్వం ప్రక్రియ ప్రారంభిస్తుందని హోంమంత్రి చిదంబరం ప్రకటించిన మరుసటిరోజే ఆయన ఆ మాటలన్నారు.

What to expect out of cabinet’s Telangana meet
The Union Cabinet that met on Thursday to discuss the Telangana crisis in detail and the government is expected to announce a time-bound programme for the formation of a separate state, reports rediff.com.
A crucial meeting of the Union cabinet was held to discuss the burning issue on Telangana statehood on Thursday. After talks with Telangana leaders failed, the Union cabinet has decided to take stock of the situation prevailing the Telangana region. On Wednesday, Congress President Sonia Gandhi met Prime Minister Dr Manmohan Singh and discussed the ongoing crisis.
Hyderabad and other parts of Telangana were paralysed for the last two days due a massive 48-hour bandh called by pro-Telangana activists.
The Union Government is well aware that it needs to tread carefully while dealing with the issue. While Telangana leaders from all parties have resigned demanding that statehood be granted, members of Legislative Assembly from the Rayalseema-Andhra have threatened to quit if the demands of the former are met.
The Centre has quite a few problems at hand. Firstly, it needs to save the Congress government in Andhra Pradesh, as it still has three more years in office. It is unlikely that the cabinet may agree on granting statehood to Telangana fearing backlash from MLAs belonging to other regions in Andhra. But with pro-Telangana leaders not ready to budge, the cabinet is expected to announce a time-bound programme for the formation of Telangana, say insiders.
Sources indicate that Centre will be look at buying more time from the Telangana leaders. The situation is sensitive and the Congress high command is well aware that any wrong move may prove fatal for the Kiran Kumar Reddy government in Andhra Pradesh.Hyderabad continues to remain tense.
After the two-day bandh, students from Telangana will take to the streets on Thursday demanding a separate state. These protests will be followed by rail roko programmes over the next two days.

Deploying paramilitary force at OU is disturbing : Supreme Court
The Supreme Court has questioned the presence of paramilitary forces inside the Osmania University campus in Hyderabad.
The court on Thursday directed the Andhra Pradesh government to explain by Friday under whose instructions the forces were stationed inside the university campus. It was hearing an appeal from the state government challenging a High Court order that the forces vacate the campus.
The Chief Justice of India said: “Deploying paramilitary force inside the campus is disturbing.”
The Andhra Pradesh government told the court that there was daily violence inside the campus and the local police could not be deployed as the sensitive Telangana issue was involved.
It also told the court that law-and-order was a state problem and if the High Court wanted the forces to be out, then it (the high court) should run the administration.
The state government will now inform the court tomorrow on whose directions these forces are stationed inside the campus.
