సత్తా చూపిన తెలంగాణా మార్చ్!
వాడెవడు వీడెవడు తెలంగాణకు అడ్దేవడు! తెలంగాణాని ఆపే దమ్ము ఎవడికుంది? బరికేడ్లకా , పోలిసులకా , దిమాక్ లేని కిరణ్ కుమర్లకా , అరవిర భయంకరుడు, రక్త పిపాసి అని చెప్పబడే అరవిన్దరవుకా, చంచ గిరి చేసే, దగుల్బాజీ సీమాంద్ర నాయకులకా..తెలంగాణా పేరు చెప్పుకుని పబ్బం గడిపే సత్తా లేని మన నాయకులక..అట్లాంటి అపోహలన్నిటికి ఇవాళ తెర తీసి నట్టయింది..ఏమనుకున్టున్రు తెలంగానోల్లంటే..దటిస్ తెలంగాణా! నేను లేకపోతె తెలంగాణాల ఉద్యమం నడువది అనుకున్న పెద్ద పెద్దోల్లందరికి లాగి చెంప మీద చెళ్ళున కొట్టినట్టయింది..రాజకీయ నాయకులకి దిక్కు దివాణం లేదన్న! నన్ను నమ్మున్ద్రి..ఇవాళ తెలంగాణా మార్చ్ చూడడం అంటే జీవితం లో ఎంత పెద్ద గొప్ప అనుభవమో చెప్పనికి ఒక్క మాట ఒస్తలే , ఏమి సంబూరాలు, సక్కని గుంపులు, డప్పులు, దరువులు..మైకులు లేకపాయే అని ఎం బాద లేదే, ఒక్కో గొంతు అందుకుందంటే ఇన సొంపైన పాటలు..
నిన్నటి నుంచి పొలీసుల ఓవర్ అక్స్యన్ చూస్తుంటే ఒకటే గుబులు, ఎక్కడ పడితే అక్కడ చెక్ పోస్టులు , అర్రేస్తులు, దాదాపు అన్ని యునివర్సిటీ విద్యార్థులు , విద్యార్థి నాయకులు అర్రెస్ట్ అయినరు, ఉద్యమ కారులు అనుకున్నోల్లు దొంగల లెక్క దాసుకుని దాసుకుని వస్తున్నారు..నిన్నటినుంచి దాదాపు కర్ఫ్యూ వాతావరణం..ఎవడికి ఇబ్బంది పెట్టకుడదని అనుమతి ఇవ్వలేదని ముక్య మంత్రి గారు చెప్పడం చూస్తె చాన జాలేసింది..వీడు మంత్రి ఎట్లా అయిందో దయ చేసి ఎవరికన్నా అర్థం అయితే జర చెప్పుండ్రి..ఎక్కడ లేని ట్రాఫిక్ ఆంక్షలు పెట్టి పట్నం ల ఒక్కడిని సక్కగా తిరగ నీయలే..రాత్రి అంత సరిగ్గా నిద్రనే లేదు, పొద్దున్న లేవగానే అన్ని ఊర్ల కెంచి ఫోన్లు, ఏడ కలుసుకుందాం అని..తోచిన కాడ కలుసుకున్డంలె అనుకున్నాం, డిపి రెడ్డి గారికి ఫోన్ చేసిన..అందరం ఆడనే కలుద్దమనుకున్న గాని, మధ్యలో ఆగి ఇంకొద్ది మంది మిత్రులని చూసి పోదామని హిమాయత్ నగర్ ల ఉన్నా , జమున పుష్కర్ కూడ వచ్చిందని తెలుసుకొని మాట్లాడిన, విమల, దేవకీ దేవి వాలు జర ఆటు పోయిన్రు, గమ్మతి ఏందంటే ఎవరికీ తెలవదు ఏడికి పోవాలనో, ఎట్లా పోవాలనో, మొత్తానికి అందరం అర్రేస్ట్లకు సిద్దమయే బయలు దేరినాము, నా కైతే నిన్నటి నుంచే ఇంటెలి జేంస్ వాడు తలకాయ తిన్తనే ఉన్నాడు, నువ్వు ఏడికి పోతున్నవ్, ఎంత మందిని తీస్క పోతున్నవ్..సంవత్సరం నుంచి అలవాటు అయింది కాబట్టి పెద్ద కష్టం కాలే వాడిని హండిల్ చేయడం..
..హిమాయత్ నగర్ రానికి ఒక్క కష్టాలు కావు, అన్ని చోట్ల పోలీసులు దార్లు మలుపుతున్నారు, చెప్పలేనంత బాద అయింది తమ్మి! నా హైదరాబాదుకు , నట్ట నడుమ ఉన్న నా ట్యాంక్ బండ్ కు రానికి ఇన్ని తిప్పలు , ఇన్ని బాధలని అని ఒక సారి దుక్ఖం ఒచ్చింది.. ఎక్కడి బతుకులు, ఏడికి వొచ్చినయి, వాని బొంద పెట్ట, ఇరాని చాయిలు పాయె, రోడ్డు మీద చాట్ బండిలు పాయె..సక్కని ఫుట్ పాత్ లు బోయి అమెరిక కంపనీలకు బజార్లన్నీ అమ్ముడు పాయె..ఒక్క షాపు చూడానికి కూడ మనసైత లేదు ఇయాల రేపు..ఎట్లనో మహేష్ కార్ల తీసుక పోత అన్నడు, నేను, భరత్, మహేష్ ఎన్నో గల్లిలు తిరిగి మొత్తానికి టాంక్ బండ్ చేరుకున్నాము. చిన్న ఇరుకు ఇరుకు మెట్ల కెంచి ఒక్క సారి పైకి ఎక్కంగనే, ఒకటే సంతోషం ఎవరెస్ట్ ఎక్కినంత..హుస్సేన్ సాగర్ చల్ల గాలి పేయి కి తగలంగనే ఒక్కసారి ‘స్వేచ్చ’ గాలి చుట్టుకున్నట్టు అయింది, ఆంధ్రా కంపు వాసనలు, అరువు తెచ్చుకున్న మొహాలు, ప్రేమలు ఏవి కన పడ్త లేవు, సంకెళ్ళను తెంచు కున్న సంతోషం, గెలుపు మాదే అన్న ధీమా, చెవుల్లో మార్మోగుతున్న నినాదాలు..ఎవడబ్బా సొమ్మురా తెలంగాణా మాదిరా, కదిలిందిర తెలంగాణా , ఖబడ్ దార్ , ఖబడ్ దార్, ఔర్ ఎక్ ధక్కా , తెలంగాణా పక్కా…గొంతులు చించుకుని అరుస్తున్నారు, స్వేచ్చా వాణి టాంక్ బండ్ అంతా మార్మోగుతున్నది, అది ఒక సెమినార్ కాదు, మీటింగ్ కాదు, ఒక నాయకుడు లేదు, ఎవరు ఏమైనా చేయొచ్చు, ఎక్కడికి అయిన పోవచ్చు.. అంతా నావోల్లె..అంత నా జాగనే..మొట్ట మొదటనే మా భూమి సంధ్యక్క గ్రూప్ కలిసింది, అక్క పాడుతుంటే అందరు డాన్స్ ఎసినం..సంధ్యక్క పాట గురించి చెప్పేదేముంది, రేపు చస్తా అనేతోడు కూడ లేచి డాన్స్ ఎస్తాడు..
మీ అందరి మీద ఒట్టేసి చెపుతున్నా , ఒక్క అన్ద్రోది మొకం కాన రాలే అంత మందిల..రేపు గిట్ల నా తెలంగాణాల అంద్రోలు లేకపోతె ఇంత బాగుంటదా ఏంది అనిపించింది.. తీరొక్క జెండాలు, పార్టీలు అక్కడక్కడ ఉన్నాయి, లాయర్లు, విద్యార్థులు, సింగరేణి, టీచర్లు, వర్కర్లు..ఇకటి కాదు రెండు కాదు , చూడ నికి రెండు కండ్లు చాల్త లేవు..మరో వైపు మహిళ జాక్, జలజ పాట జోరుగా అందుకున్నది, మద్యల నేర్నాల కిషోర్, రామక్క బృందం బతుకమ్మ పాట పాడి మస్తు ఆడిపిన్చిన్రు..మస్తు ఎండల కూడ ఎవరు అలిసి పోతలే, దాదాపుగా అన్ని ఊర్ల నుంచి జనం వచ్చిన్రు, లొల్లి లొల్లి..నాకు తెలిసిన ప్రతి ఉద్యమ కార్య కర్త కనపడ్డారు..ఈ మద్యల అందరిని కలుసుడు అంటే తెలంగాణా మీటింగులే! ఇవే పెండ్లి పేరంటాలు..ముచ్చట్లు, వీర గాధలు ఒక్కొక్కరం ఎన్ని కష్టాలు పడి వచ్చినమో చెప్పుకొని మురిసి పోవుడు..ఇంతలనే రేవతి అక్క ఫోన్ చేసింది, ఏడికి రావాలే అని, చెప్పినం..తిరిగి తిరిగి ఎడినించి రానీయట్లేదని ఒక్కతె ఇంటికి పోయిందంట..మస్తు బాద అయింది..రేవతి, ఒక ప్రొఫెస్సర్, తెలంగాణాల ఏదో ఒక పని చేస్తనే ఉంటది సైలెంట్ గా, రాస్తానే ఉంటది, మాట్లడతనే ఉంటది..ఇంత పెద్ద ఎత్తున మంది కదిలోస్తే చూడానికి దార్లు బందు బెట్టిన్రు, అట్లా ఎంత మంది ఎనక్కి పోయిన్రో బిడ్డలు, ఎంత చిన్న బుచ్చుకున్నారో, ..ఎవడబ్బ సొమ్మురా ఈ హైదరాబాద్? మా ఇంట్లకొచ్చి, మా హైదరాబాద్ చుట్టు ముళ్ళ కంచెలు కడతార..ఖబడ్ దార్ ఒక్కొక్కడికి గోరీలు కట్టే రోజులోచ్చిని..మంచిగా పొతే మంచిది, లేకపోతె ఎట్లా తోలాల్నో మావోల్లకి బాగా తెలుసు..
తెల్లని పాల పిట్ట ఓలే గద్దరన్న తెల్ల లాల్చి ఏసుకొని ‘పొడుస్తున్న పొద్దు మీద నడుస్తున్న కాలమా’ అని అందరితోని పాడిపిస్తుండు, అయన చుట్టూ జనం మస్తుగున్నారు, ప్రతిజ్ఞ చేసింరు, ఒక్క మీడియా కూడా రాలే నాకు తెలిసి..అవును అయన పాడిపించి, ఆడిపించి, తెలంగాణాని రగిలిన్చోడే కాని మాటలు నేర్చిన రాజ కీయ నాయకుడు కాదు కదా..అయినా టీవి ని లెక్ఖ బెట్టినోడేవడు..ఎవ్వని ఖుషి వానిదే, ఆడోల్లు ఒక తాన ఆడుతానే ఉన్నారు, ఎవరికీ వారు పాడతనే ఉన్నారు. ఇంతలో కాంగ్రెస్ నాయకులకి బుద్ది చెప్పి పంపింరని, ఇంకింత సంబురం..కష్ట పడి ఓట్లేసి, నాయకులను చేసి గెలిపిస్తే..కనీసం ఒక్క పర్మిషన్ కూడ ఇప్పించ లేరు, పరీక్ష వాయిదా వేయించ లేరు, డిజిపి తో మాట్లాడ లేరు..ఇంక సోనియా దాక ఎందుకులే ముచ్చట.. ఇంతకి వీళ్ళ ధైర్యాన్ని మెచ్చుకోవాలి..అయినా అందరి నాయకులకి ఇదే గతి పడతాడని భయపడ్డాం , కాని ఎం కాలే..దొంగలు బద్దంక పోలిసోల్లు ఒచ్చినట్టు మా నాయకులు లెట్ ఎంట్రి ఇచ్చింరు, ఎప్పటి లేక్ఖనే జర మంది కూదిన్రు, కాని అప్పటికే అందరికి తెలిసి పోయింది, ఇంక ఎక్కువ రోజులు నాటకాలు ఆడవని! ఇంకో వైపు చూస్తె హరీష్ రావు , ఇటల బోట్ల వస్తున్నారని విని మస్త మజా వచ్చింది, నయం ఇంక పైనుంచి రాలేదు, అయిన ఎక్కడి కష్టాలు మా నాయకులకి, ఎంత చెప్పిన తక్కువే వాళ్ళ గురించి..నవ్ ఐ డోంట్ వాంట్ టు వేస్ట్ మై టైం ఆన్ థెం, ఇది ఏ రాజ కీయ పార్టీ కష్టమూ కాదు..కేవలం ప్రజా విజయం, పార్టీలు స్వార్థ పూరిత ఆలోచనలతో వెనక అడుగేస్తే , మేమున్నాం అనుకుంటూ ముందడుగు వేసేది ఎపుడు ప్రజలే..
అంత అయిపొయింది అనకుంటే కొంత మంది విగ్రహాలు ద్వంసం చేస్తున్నారని వార్త, కడుపు మండుతుంటే ఎం చేస్తారు, అయినా ఇది కూడా సీమ ఆంద్ర ప్రభుత్వం ఆడి పిస్తున నాటకం ఎందుకు కాకూడదు? అవును, నాలుగు విగ్రహాలు ద్వంసం అయితే అన్ద్రోల్లు గాంధి తాతకి పాలు అభిషేకం చేస్తున్నారు, కొవ్వొత్తుల ప్రదర్శన అంతా, టీవిలకి ఇంక పండగా, ఒక్క విగ్రహం పొతే ఇంత బాద పడితే , మా భాష, యాస, బతుకులు పోయినందుకు మేము ఎన్ని పాల సముద్రాలు అప్పు తెచ్చుకోవాలె? ఒక టీవి వాడు “మార్చిచ్చు” అంటడు, ఇంకోడు “రణ మార్చ్” అంటడు, మరోడు “ఉద్యమమా ;విద్వంసమ” , “డెమ లిష్ మార్చ్ ” అన్ని చానళ్లల్ల చర్చలే చర్చలు..పొద్దున్నుంచి ప్రజలు ఎంత కష్టపడి తమ ఇంట్లకి తాము వచ్చి పోలిసోల్లని ఏడ బెట్టాల్నో ఆడ పెడితే, ఒక్కడు వేయడు, ఊర్ల కి పోతున్న వాళ్ళని అర్రేస్ట్లు చేసి చిత్ర హింసలు పెడితే పట్టించు కోరు, తెలంగాణా అంటే మావో ఇష్టులు అని పర్యాయ పదాలు వెతుక్కొంటే ఎట్లా, నేను ఎప్పుడో చెప్పిన, ప్రశ్నించే వాడే, అన్యాయాన్ని ఎదిరించే వాడే నక్ష లైట్ అయితే మేము నాలుగు కోట్ల మందిమి నక్ష లైట్లే..అసాంఘిక శక్తులు ఉన్నాయి అంటడు మా డిజిపి..మా భూములు గుంజుకొని, ఉద్యోగాలు గుంజుకొని, మమ్మల్ని దూర దేశాలకు పనికి పోయేటట్టు చేసిన మీరా , మేమా అసాంఘిక శక్తులు ? అమ్మ , అయ్యలకి దూరమై, అంద మైన నా షహర్ , శౌహర్ కి దూరమయి బతుకుతున్నాం, మీరు దొంగలా మేమా? మా నాయకుల బొమ్మలు పెట్టలేదని బాద ఎక్కువైంది , ఏమ్చేస్తారు అన్న? కెమెరాలు పోయినాయ్ ఒకే, ఉంటె కూడ ఎం లాభం చెప్పు, ఒక్కటన్నా మా ఉద్యమం సక్కగుందని ఏసే తోల్లా ? అయినా మీరు ఏది ఎయాలనుకున్నారో అదే ఎసిన్రు, మా వోల్లాని బోను లో నిలబెట్టి గుచ్చి గుచ్చి ప్రశ్నలు అడుగుతున్రు..ఒక వేల ఇది మా వొల్లె చేసుంటే, ఇదే ఈ ఆంధ్రా మీడియా కి గుణ పాఠం..
ఎవడు ఏమి కూసినా, ఈ గడ్డ మాది, అన్ని అదికారాలు మావి, తెలంగాణా రోజు రోజు కి ముందుకి పోతున్నది, అడ్డం వస్తే మరి ఎం చేస్తాడో ఇవ్వాల చూడనే చూసిన్రు.సోనియమ్మ కళ్ళు తెరిచి నపుడే తెలంగాణా ఇచ్చేతట్టయితే మాకు ఏ రాజ కీయ పార్టీలు అవసరం లేదు, రోజు కో పానం పోతుందీ మా పిలగాల్లది, ఎం చేస్తావ్ కాపాడానికి? మీరందరినీ హంతకులుగా నిల బెడతాము..మీరు సక్కగా ఉంటె మాకు ఈ గతి ఎందుకు పడతది?
ప్రజలు ఒక్కటిగా ఉన్నారు, కొందరు నాయకులు ఉన్నారేమో అని అపోహలు పడుతున్నారు, అంత లేదు..నిస్వార్థం గా ప్రజలు ముందుకొచ్చి పోరాడుతున్నారు.. కుల మతాలకి అతీతంగా, అందరిని కలుపుకుందాం, రాజ కీయ పార్టీలను పక్కన పెడదాం, ప్రజా పోరాటాలని నిర్మిద్దాం.. కేంద్రం ఇయాల కదుల్తడి, నేషనల్ మీడియా వచ్చింది కదా..ఇంక ఎవడి రాజ కీయ ఎత్తుగడలు ఇపుడు అవసరం లేదు..ఆరంభ శూరత్వం! ఏమి లేదు..
“భయాన్ని జయిస్తే అతి ప్రమాద కరమైన శత్రువుని జయించి నట్లే” అని ఎవరో అన్నాట్లు, మేం జయిన్చాం, మాకు పోలిసులంటే భయం లేదు, రాజ కీయ నాయకులు అంటే ప్రేమ లేదు, మా ప్రాణాల్ని ఫణం గా పెట్ట కుండా, నువ్వు కూడ తెలంగాణా తెచ్చే టందుకు లాడాయికి సిద్దం కా తమ్ముడు..
ప్రాణం ఖరీదు చెప్ప గలరా? ఎస్, ఒక ప్రాణం ఖరీదు తెలంగాణా! ఒక ప్రాణం ఖరీదు ఒక రాజ కీయ నాయకుడి హత్య/బహిష్కరణ, కొత్త తరం కోసం అన్వేషణ..లేకపోతె పైన ఉన్న తమ్ముళ్ళు, చెల్లెళ్ళు, అన్నలు మనల్ని క్షమించారు..

మీ అందరి మీద ఒట్టేసి చెపుతున్నా , ఒక్క అన్ద్రోది మొకం కాన రాలే అంత మందిల..రేపు గిట్ల నా తెలంగాణాల అంద్రోలు లేకపోతె ఇంత బాగుంటదా ఏంది అనిపించింది.. తీరొక్క జెండాలు, పార్టీలు అక్కడక్కడ ఉన్నాయి, లాయర్లు, విద్యార్థులు, సింగరేణి, టీచర్లు, వర్కర్లు..ఇకటి కాదు రెండు కాదు , చూడ నికి రెండు కండ్లు చాల్త లేవు..మరో వైపు మహిళ జాక్, జలజ పాట జోరుగా అందుకున్నది, మద్యల నేర్నాల కిషోర్, రామక్క బృందం బతుకమ్మ పాట పాడి మస్తు ఆడిపిన్చిన్రు..మస్తు ఎండల కూడ ఎవరు అలిసి పోతలే, దాదాపుగా అన్ని ఊర్ల నుంచి జనం వచ్చిన్రు, లొల్లి లొల్లి..నాకు తెలిసిన ప్రతి ఉద్యమ కార్య కర్త కనపడ్డారు..ఈ మద్యల అందరిని కలుసుడు అంటే తెలంగాణా మీటింగులే! ఇవే పెండ్లి పేరంటాలు..ముచ్చట్లు, వీర గాధలు ఒక్కొక్కరం ఎన్ని కష్టాలు పడి వచ్చినమో చెప్పుకొని మురిసి పోవుడు..ఇంతలనే రేవతి అక్క ఫోన్ చేసింది, ఏడికి రావాలే అని, చెప్పినం..తిరిగి తిరిగి ఎడినించి రానీయట్లేదని ఒక్కతె ఇంటికి పోయిందంట..మస్తు బాద అయింది..రేవతి, ఒక ప్రొఫెస్సర్, తెలంగాణాల ఏదో ఒక పని చేస్తనే ఉంటది సైలెంట్ గా, రాస్తానే ఉంటది, మాట్లడతనే ఉంటది..ఇంత పెద్ద ఎత్తున మంది కదిలోస్తే చూడానికి దార్లు బందు బెట్టిన్రు, అట్లా ఎంత మంది ఎనక్కి పోయిన్రో బిడ్డలు, ఎంత చిన్న బుచ్చుకున్నారో, ..ఎవడబ్బ సొమ్మురా ఈ హైదరాబాద్? మా ఇంట్లకొచ్చి, మా హైదరాబాద్ చుట్టు ముళ్ళ కంచెలు కడతార..ఖబడ్ దార్ ఒక్కొక్కడికి గోరీలు కట్టే రోజులోచ్చిని..మంచిగా పొతే మంచిది, లేకపోతె ఎట్లా తోలాల్నో మావోల్లకి బాగా తెలుసు..
తెల్లని పాల పిట్ట ఓలే గద్దరన్న తెల్ల లాల్చి ఏసుకొని ‘పొడుస్తున్న పొద్దు మీద నడుస్తున్న కాలమా’ అని అందరితోని పాడిపిస్తుండు, అయన చుట్టూ జనం మస్తుగున్నారు, ప్రతిజ్ఞ చేసింరు, ఒక్క మీడియా కూడా రాలే నాకు తెలిసి..అవును అయన పాడిపించి, ఆడిపించి, తెలంగాణాని రగిలిన్చోడే కాని మాటలు నేర్చిన రాజ కీయ నాయకుడు కాదు కదా..అయినా టీవి ని లెక్ఖ బెట్టినోడేవడు..ఎవ్వని ఖుషి వానిదే, ఆడోల్లు ఒక తాన ఆడుతానే ఉన్నారు, ఎవరికీ వారు పాడతనే ఉన్నారు. ఇంతలో కాంగ్రెస్ నాయకులకి బుద్ది చెప్పి పంపింరని, ఇంకింత సంబురం..కష్ట పడి ఓట్లేసి, నాయకులను చేసి గెలిపిస్తే..కనీసం ఒక్క పర్మిషన్ కూడ ఇప్పించ లేరు, పరీక్ష వాయిదా వేయించ లేరు, డిజిపి తో మాట్లాడ లేరు..ఇంక సోనియా దాక ఎందుకులే ముచ్చట.. ఇంతకి వీళ్ళ ధైర్యాన్ని మెచ్చుకోవాలి..అయినా అందరి నాయకులకి ఇదే గతి పడతాడని భయపడ్డాం , కాని ఎం కాలే..దొంగలు బద్దంక పోలిసోల్లు ఒచ్చినట్టు మా నాయకులు లెట్ ఎంట్రి ఇచ్చింరు, ఎప్పటి లేక్ఖనే జర మంది కూదిన్రు, కాని అప్పటికే అందరికి తెలిసి పోయింది, ఇంక ఎక్కువ రోజులు నాటకాలు ఆడవని! ఇంకో వైపు చూస్తె హరీష్ రావు , ఇటల బోట్ల వస్తున్నారని విని మస్త మజా వచ్చింది, నయం ఇంక పైనుంచి రాలేదు, అయిన ఎక్కడి కష్టాలు మా నాయకులకి, ఎంత చెప్పిన తక్కువే వాళ్ళ గురించి..నవ్ ఐ డోంట్ వాంట్ టు వేస్ట్ మై టైం ఆన్ థెం, ఇది ఏ రాజ కీయ పార్టీ కష్టమూ కాదు..కేవలం ప్రజా విజయం, పార్టీలు స్వార్థ పూరిత ఆలోచనలతో వెనక అడుగేస్తే , మేమున్నాం అనుకుంటూ ముందడుగు వేసేది ఎపుడు ప్రజలే..
అంత అయిపొయింది అనకుంటే కొంత మంది విగ్రహాలు ద్వంసం చేస్తున్నారని వార్త, కడుపు మండుతుంటే ఎం చేస్తారు, అయినా ఇది కూడా సీమ ఆంద్ర ప్రభుత్వం ఆడి పిస్తున నాటకం ఎందుకు కాకూడదు? అవును, నాలుగు విగ్రహాలు ద్వంసం అయితే అన్ద్రోల్లు గాంధి తాతకి పాలు అభిషేకం చేస్తున్నారు, కొవ్వొత్తుల ప్రదర్శన అంతా, టీవిలకి ఇంక పండగా, ఒక్క విగ్రహం పొతే ఇంత బాద పడితే , మా భాష, యాస, బతుకులు పోయినందుకు మేము ఎన్ని పాల సముద్రాలు అప్పు తెచ్చుకోవాలె? ఒక టీవి వాడు “మార్చిచ్చు” అంటడు, ఇంకోడు “రణ మార్చ్” అంటడు, మరోడు “ఉద్యమమా ;విద్వంసమ” , “డెమ లిష్ మార్చ్ ” అన్ని చానళ్లల్ల చర్చలే చర్చలు..పొద్దున్నుంచి ప్రజలు ఎంత కష్టపడి తమ ఇంట్లకి తాము వచ్చి పోలిసోల్లని ఏడ బెట్టాల్నో ఆడ పెడితే, ఒక్కడు వేయడు, ఊర్ల కి పోతున్న వాళ్ళని అర్రేస్ట్లు చేసి చిత్ర హింసలు పెడితే పట్టించు కోరు, తెలంగాణా అంటే మావో ఇష్టులు అని పర్యాయ పదాలు వెతుక్కొంటే ఎట్లా, నేను ఎప్పుడో చెప్పిన, ప్రశ్నించే వాడే, అన్యాయాన్ని ఎదిరించే వాడే నక్ష లైట్ అయితే మేము నాలుగు కోట్ల మందిమి నక్ష లైట్లే..అసాంఘిక శక్తులు ఉన్నాయి అంటడు మా డిజిపి..మా భూములు గుంజుకొని, ఉద్యోగాలు గుంజుకొని, మమ్మల్ని దూర దేశాలకు పనికి పోయేటట్టు చేసిన మీరా , మేమా అసాంఘిక శక్తులు ? అమ్మ , అయ్యలకి దూరమై, అంద మైన నా షహర్ , శౌహర్ కి దూరమయి బతుకుతున్నాం, మీరు దొంగలా మేమా? మా నాయకుల బొమ్మలు పెట్టలేదని బాద ఎక్కువైంది , ఏమ్చేస్తారు అన్న? కెమెరాలు పోయినాయ్ ఒకే, ఉంటె కూడ ఎం లాభం చెప్పు, ఒక్కటన్నా మా ఉద్యమం సక్కగుందని ఏసే తోల్లా ? అయినా మీరు ఏది ఎయాలనుకున్నారో అదే ఎసిన్రు, మా వోల్లాని బోను లో నిలబెట్టి గుచ్చి గుచ్చి ప్రశ్నలు అడుగుతున్రు..ఒక వేల ఇది మా వొల్లె చేసుంటే, ఇదే ఈ ఆంధ్రా మీడియా కి గుణ పాఠం..
ఎవడు ఏమి కూసినా, ఈ గడ్డ మాది, అన్ని అదికారాలు మావి, తెలంగాణా రోజు రోజు కి ముందుకి పోతున్నది, అడ్డం వస్తే మరి ఎం చేస్తాడో ఇవ్వాల చూడనే చూసిన్రు.సోనియమ్మ కళ్ళు తెరిచి నపుడే తెలంగాణా ఇచ్చేతట్టయితే మాకు ఏ రాజ కీయ పార్టీలు అవసరం లేదు, రోజు కో పానం పోతుందీ మా పిలగాల్లది, ఎం చేస్తావ్ కాపాడానికి? మీరందరినీ హంతకులుగా నిల బెడతాము..మీరు సక్కగా ఉంటె మాకు ఈ గతి ఎందుకు పడతది?
ప్రజలు ఒక్కటిగా ఉన్నారు, కొందరు నాయకులు ఉన్నారేమో అని అపోహలు పడుతున్నారు, అంత లేదు..నిస్వార్థం గా ప్రజలు ముందుకొచ్చి పోరాడుతున్నారు.. కుల మతాలకి అతీతంగా, అందరిని కలుపుకుందాం, రాజ కీయ పార్టీలను పక్కన పెడదాం, ప్రజా పోరాటాలని నిర్మిద్దాం.. కేంద్రం ఇయాల కదుల్తడి, నేషనల్ మీడియా వచ్చింది కదా..ఇంక ఎవడి రాజ కీయ ఎత్తుగడలు ఇపుడు అవసరం లేదు..ఆరంభ శూరత్వం! ఏమి లేదు..
“భయాన్ని జయిస్తే అతి ప్రమాద కరమైన శత్రువుని జయించి నట్లే” అని ఎవరో అన్నాట్లు, మేం జయిన్చాం, మాకు పోలిసులంటే భయం లేదు, రాజ కీయ నాయకులు అంటే ప్రేమ లేదు, మా ప్రాణాల్ని ఫణం గా పెట్ట కుండా, నువ్వు కూడ తెలంగాణా తెచ్చే టందుకు లాడాయికి సిద్దం కా తమ్ముడు..
ప్రాణం ఖరీదు చెప్ప గలరా? ఎస్, ఒక ప్రాణం ఖరీదు తెలంగాణా! ఒక ప్రాణం ఖరీదు ఒక రాజ కీయ నాయకుడి హత్య/బహిష్కరణ, కొత్త తరం కోసం అన్వేషణ..లేకపోతె పైన ఉన్న తమ్ముళ్ళు, చెల్లెళ్ళు, అన్నలు మనల్ని క్షమించారు..

‘Million March’ reflected Telangana’s indomitable spirit
The day of March has arrived and started on a sad note. Shaken by the oppressive police, a graduate student in Khammam committed suicide. Another attempted the same at Basheerbagh press club. The arrests continued unabated, mainly in the outskirts and in the districts. Within the city, the police strategised more on barricading and cordoning off areas around Tank Bund, Secretariat and Assembly. All roads in these areas were blocked, ending up disconnecting Hyderabad and Secunderabad.
I failed to find a route through the Masab Tank road, the Taj Banjara road or the Khairatabad’s track area towards Tank Bund. Police were on guard everywhere. I have never in my life seen such a deserted Hyderabad. See the Khairatabad junction here. I ended up on Necklace road through the by lanes and then drove around the lake to lower tank bund road. At the Mosque there, the Muslim youth helped us park and trek up the tank bund.
It was around 2.00 PM and by then thousands made their way. By then the barricades were broken and the main entrance to lower tank bund road from Liberty was wide open. So people from liberty took the road. While others on NTR Gardens, Necklace road side canoed over Hussain Sagar! Well, if the state government took up foiling this March on a war-footing by randomly arresting or harassing people from participating, it clearly lost the war.
The importance of today’s Million March for Telangana movement:
It was clear the politicians were trying to distance themselves from the Million March. They tried to even ‘postpone’ it. But the pressure of the non-political civil society groups within the TJAC made this March inevitable. Today’s turnout at tank bund is a eye-opener for all political parties. Without any mobilization from the parties, like for Telangana garjana in Warangal, around 1 lakh gathered at Tank Bund. This is despite the unofficial curfew, the traffic blockades, the arrests and the detentions of TJAC leadership. For anyone who has doubts about the depth of the movement, todays’ turnout and the uncompromising will behind it should provide the answer. The unwilling politicians too attended, to save their face. People’s will prevailed.
The creative expressions at the March:
As the telangana movement has time and again shown, there is no dearth of creativity in expressing the ideas and aspirations of the movement.
Firstly, there were the masks. Scores of people turned out in Masks of Gandhi, Ambedkar and even Professor Kodandram. When news flew that the professor may be arrested in the morning, the masks of his face were prepared and worn to mock at the police about the impending arrest. Of course, when the real arrest happened, the agitators found no fun in it and flew into a rage and even dismantled some statues on the bund, dragged them across the road and threw them into Hussain Sagar.
Secondly, the dhoom-dhaam and the songs raised the pitch as they usually do. Accompanied by a stereo in a four wheeler which managed to squeeze in, the songs, especially Gaddar’s raised the tempo. The youth danced to the beats and a festive atmosphere ensued.
Meanwhile, women played bathukamma and sung. Some carried bonalu. Kids came in with attires of Gandhi, Nehru, Patel etc and played short skits encouraging the movement. Youth rallied around, some with their hands chained, some with their mouths covered symbolically. My friend Madhav carried a huge Indian flag around getting an odd compliment from one of the policemen! All organizations and groups which came with their banners rallied to and fro, sloganeering about Telangana, between the two ends of lower tank bund. The 2 ends were guarded by police and paramilitary forces. As was the adjoining Telugu Thalli flyover.
The Armed forces:
The paramilitary forces stood and watched as thousands poured in overcoming barricades in different parts of city. And I was told they gave up only at 1 PM before which they tried stopping by arresting people. But very soon they must have realised they can not arrest 100,000 people. However, they were the guys who saved the 2 MPs present, Madhu Yashki and K Keshava Rao, from being manhandled by the irate mob for not doing enough for Telangana movement. Even the media faced the ire of the public for all their recent dramas about NBA guidelines and the biased reporting. Some of their cameras were snatched and thrown into Hussain Sagar.
The agitators were prepared for the scorching sun too. Some came in with caps and most of them arranged for their water packets. Somewhere between 3.00 PM and 4.00 PM Mr. KCR came in and settled at Pothana’s statue with his followers. Gaddar made his exit. Emotions were running high by then and one law student attempted suicide too. May be, it is this mood of the agitators that made the politicians cautious today. None who came there tried to address, appeal or instruct the public at large. Maybe, the Professor could have been different if he were allowed to attend the March. At last, the pledge for Telangana was taken. A pledge that, in its essence, says we would put up an uncompromising fight for Telangana’s demerger. Come what may.
While the dusk set in, we stepped down the tank bund. Discussed the day’s events among us friends over some cool drinks while the neighbourhood residents cheered the agitators on the Bund from their balconies and terraces. If not for the political leadership within the movement, Tank Bund would have been Tahrir Square within an indefinite sit-in. The cheering neighbours would have joined, the folks who were arrested would have joined too and the numbers would have swelled into millions. The Govt. must be feeling lucky that the dusk has set in and rescued them. They must be feeling lucky that the agitators didn’t head towards the secretariat or Assembly. But then as I walked the half mile back to the Mosque recollecting the day’s frenzy, I felt the March has now only begun and it is now unstoppable.

To Telangana Police, From Egypt
Nowadays, our leaders are hinting at the people’s movement in Egypt as an example for telangana movement. One must realize, what is the reason behind the success of such a movement in Egypt? If 384 deaths could realize the dreams of an independent country…..shouldn’t 600 deaths realize our dream of an independent state? But that did not happen here…Why? Because the Egyptian police…and the Army were with the people in that rebellion….they did not fight with their own brethren instead fought against their leader, Hosni Mubarak. That is when Mubarak lost the race. Once the army and police joined hands with the people…Mubarak realized the end of his regime and gave up. Libya is another good example in this context. All the parts where the Libyan army joined hands with the people are controlled by the rebels and the regions where army did not join with the people remained with Gaddhafi. This is another reason why Libyan revolution was not as fruitful as the Egyptian. The bottom line from the ‘Jasmine revolution’ is that until the army (police, in our case) joins hands with the people….the ultimate dream will NOT be realized.
Why are not the telangana police joining the movement? We all know, they are important to restore peace in our region…but they also have a role to play in this historical movement. They should have supported movements such as Non-cooperation, Million March, etc…but they failed. One can understand that the City police are infiltrated by Seemandhra cops so they will not support our struggle….but what happened to the police in the districts? Why did they arrest so many innocent men and women ahead of the million march for no reason? They cannot say that they are afraid of their higher authorities as in the case of our politicians. One can recall the incident of police brutality against people in Karimnagar town just because the district SP was transferred. How come they did not think of higher authorities then?
Let’s only hope that they will join the people very soon. Million March is a warning to all the cops in telangana, join the movement now or face the wrath. Someone like KCR should publicly warn the police against booking innocent people. I personally feel, we should save all the videos of this police brutality for future reference. Once Telangana is realized, we need to identify each policeman and book atrocity cases on each of them. None shall be spared for their brutality….Jai Telangana.

Million March : Telanganites create history !
Telanganites have today shown the real spirit and desire for the state. They have gone extremes to make their point loud and clear. Women also took active part in the event and attended in large numbers. Nothing stopped them from reaching Tank bund. Arrests, barricades, barbed wires, nothing could stop them. By 3 p.m., more than 1 lakh people gathered at Tank bund, over a lakh arrested, and a million more were stopped from reaching hyderabad.
Andhra media had a good time portraying the event as failure in the morning but, were stunned at the number of people that came to Tankbund by afternoon. At one point they even aired news that it is not possible for even a single person to reach Tank Bund.
Telanganites have created history. Nothing like this has happened before. They have shown to the world that Telangana is a people’s desire. The March has been very peaceful. More than the Million March, it was the government that caused inconvenience to the people.
Most of the pro-Telangana leadership has been placed under preventive arrest. About 120 check posts have been set up all around and in the city to stop the vehicles carrying the Telangana activists.
KCR, Harish Rao, KTR, Vinay Bhaskar, Ravinder Reddy and a number of other TRS leaders joined the March. Gaddhar, Kavitha, BJP leaders Bandaru Dattatreya and Kishan Reddy also participated in the event.
Congress MPs Kesava Rao and Madhu Yakshi were the only congress leaders that made it to Tank Bund but were jostled by the protesters asking them to resign.
People were seen singing songs, doing bathukamma dances, and participating in dhoom dham all over Tank bund.
Million March has also made it to headlines on all national channels. It has been more successful than expected.

More than 1 lakh arrested ahead of Million March
In an attempt to foil the march and to prevent people from reaching Hyderabad, police in Telangana districts on Wednesday took a large number of activists into preventive custody. More then one lakh people were arrested across Telangana, including 11,000 in the Hyderabad city.
The Governemt is doing every thing possible to prevent the march. Barricades have been put up in nine districts and on the outskirts of Hyderabad to prevent activists joining the protest. Police in Nizamabad, Warangal, Adilabad, Karimnagar, Medak and other districts have arrested scores of TJAC activists heading to Hyderabad to participate in the march.
On a petition by the organisers, the state human rights commission Wednesday directed police not to violate human rights while taking steps to foil the march.
Telanganites will take out two rallies one each from the Jubilee Bus Station and Sundarayya Vignana Kendra to Tank Bund.
The protesters will stage a sit-in for three hours from 1 pm to draw the attention of the central government to their demand.
TJAC chairman M. Kodandaram has condemned large-scale arrests in the Telangana districts.
“People can protest in Egypt and Tunisia but not in Hyderabad,” he asked.
Andhra Pradesh High Court on Tuesday declined to pass any orders to stop the march.
Telangana leaders of the ruling Congress party and main opposition Telugu Desam Party (TDP) are backing the march. Gaddar, students’ groups and lawyers’ organisations have also announced support. A group of TDP legislators also met Chief Minister N Kiran Kumar Reddy, urging him to ask police not to carry out arrests or suppress the peaceful protest.

“People can protest in Egypt and Tunisia but not in Hyderabad,” he asked.
Andhra Pradesh High Court on Tuesday declined to pass any orders to stop the march.
Telangana leaders of the ruling Congress party and main opposition Telugu Desam Party (TDP) are backing the march. Gaddar, students’ groups and lawyers’ organisations have also announced support. A group of TDP legislators also met Chief Minister N Kiran Kumar Reddy, urging him to ask police not to carry out arrests or suppress the peaceful protest.

‘Million March’ – Govt. turns whole Hyderabad into Tiananmen Square!
The last 2 days made me wonder if the autocratic Egypt and the dictatorship in Libya are better than the supposedly ‘world’s largest democracy’ in public freedom. Even the British may not have clamped down on the democratic protests as aggressively as our state government is now doing. This Govt. randomly arrests, detains people. They restrict people from their own cities and towns. They casually disregard rights commissions’ instructions and callously violate high court’s guidelines. Tomorrow is yet another day the police promise they would be at their worst. Today, the whole of Hyderabad has become Tiananmen Square for Telangana people.
As you all know, the protest rally tomorrow has been cut down in scale due to a +2 exam that is scheduled for tomorrow. The Telangana Joint Action Committee (TJAC) which earlier called for the ‘Million March’ did so on an understanding with the Intermediate Examination board that the exam could be rescheduled for 12 March. However, the State government prevailed upon the board not to reschedule, to whittle down the protests. Keeping in view the importance of the exam for youth’s career, the protests have been scaled down for few hours after the exam ends tomorrow.
TJAC has been very sensitive to the public in its scheduling of different kinds of protests. Even in December 2009, when the protests were at their peak with dailyrasta-rokos, bandhs etc, Christmas day was given an exception so as to avoid inconvenience to our Christian brethren. Very recently, blockade of a national highway NH9 was postponed keeping in view a community festival. While TJAC, which comprises of intellectuals and civil society groups have been so reasonable, the state government is going to the abyss in trying to quell the protests and suppress democratic voices. Today, even as I mail you, the government announced cancellation of all trains within Hyderabad and those that are coming in from other Telangana districts into Hyderabad tomorrow. The government is trying every trick to stop people from coming to the protest march. It has diverted all bus services to avoid taking the central route through Hyderabad city. 100,000 people have been detained today across other Telangana districts as they were trying to come to Hyderabad. Within Hyderabad 10,000 people have been detained. T he police say that the main area of protest, Tank Bund besides the Hussain Sagar Lake, will be cordoned off tomorrow.
While TJAC called for peaceful protests, Andhra Government made it virtually a bandh by cancelling public transport and bringing in traffic restrictions. While TJAC called for a million march, the government contributed 100,000 police men/paramilitary forces in and around Hyderabad. That is a good start. I wish the police show the same enthusiasm in tackling the drug trade, the faction killings and the land mafia in the city. It is amusing to see the commissioner speak how the TJAC should do democratic, lawful, peaceful protests. For the record, the police did not give a single permission for any democratic meeting, rally in last 15 months. The police refused each time and the agitators diligently went to high court/supreme court to get permissions and got them. It is the police, on the other hand, who were severely criticized for their handling of the democratic protests. The atrocities in OU received international attention when REPORTERS WITHOUT BORDERScondemned the police action in the university. The police have been repeatedly put to notice by the State’s HRC and the national HRC. But the police, being willing party to the government’s anti-Telangana policy, won’t budge. Instead they lecture us on how to uphold democratic values.
Even as I blog this, I see the SHRC once again instruct the police to uphold human rights of the agitators. But of course they would not heed. But then the agitators have already been conditioned for the enemy. And the March will be on in the face of the enemy. And when the dust settles down, the state and the police will have yet another humiliation they need to shoulder, in addition to those of bandhs, rail-rokos and assembly muttadis that they already have faced. This would be another self-goal from the government. In their insecurity over losing to the Telangana people, they will end up disrupting public life and imprisoning themselves in their houses. And eventually they would meet the same fate as the Arab and African dictators. Till then the March of the Millions would be on.

The Janaluleni Action Committee warns agitation from 1st April!
Unable to digest the escalating pro- Telangana sentiments, the United Andhra Janaluleni Action Committee (UNJAC) working for a united “Andhra Pradesh” has warned against division of the state. The so called JAC members met at the Nagarjuna University campus in Guntur last night and passed some resolutions.They came down heavily on political parties like BJP and CPI for supporting separate Telangana.
They funniest part is that they warned of an agitation from April 1 if the Central Government failed to give an assurance about keeping Andhra Pradesh united!

T-politicians, an eye opener!
Just today I get to see a response from one of my fellow telanganite Mr.Raj on this site. Its really interesting and could ring alarm bells in the ears of our T-politicians.
The point Mr. Raj has made is “what is the future of our telangana leaders if telangana state in not realized in the near future”. I’m quoting some mentioned by Mr. Raj and few of my own. I would request the community on this site to educate our political illiterates with your thoughtful responses.
Till now SA leaders have looted our jobs, water etc whats next within next 10 years:
-> T-politicians won’t be having 117 MLA and 17 MP seats, as many of them would be SA migrants.
-> The surrounding districts around Hyderabad like Nalgonda, Rangareddy etc will be politically dominated by SA migrants as is the case now with Hyderabad.
-> There will be two high commands for T-politicians (if any remains) one in Hyderabad and other in Delhi.
-> Politicians from T-districts which doesn’t share their borders with Hyderabad will be the poorest politicians of India.
-> No more political dynasty to the children of current T-politicians.
-> No big contracts for T-politicians, may be they will be limited to contracts from Gram Panchayat’s that to at the mercy of SA rulers.
Its always better late than never! Open your eyes T-politicians.

HC declines to interfere with ‘Million March’
The Andhra Pradesh High Court today declined to interfere with the proposed `Million March” organised by Telangana supporters here on March 10.
A division bench of Chief Justice Nisar Ahmed Kakroo and Justice Vilas Afzal Purkar was hearing a public interest petition filed by one Sambaraju Chakrapani. The petitioner maintained the proposed march in the state capital would paralyse the normal life.Political parties have been prohibited by the Supreme Court to undertake any activity which would bring peace and tranquillity to a standstill, he pointed out.In an affidavit, the Government informed the HC that the Hyderabad Police Commissioner had already rejected permission for conduct of the march.
The petitioner pleaded that the court must direct the Government to take adequate measures to prevent the agitation. The court, however, declined to issue any direction and expressed satisfaction over the security arrangements.

The ball is in the court of T-legislators
In the last one and half year Telangana people did every thing that is democratically possible. In the process created some long lasting records. Yet, the central and state governments did not respond because Telangana legislators; MPs, MLAs & MLCs and Ministers, lagged very much behind Telangana people, in taking this most heartrending struggle forward. It is shameful on the part of the Central Government not to respond to such a magnificently democratic effort and to have gone back on its own sovereign decision of forming the state of Telangana. The most ignoble behavior of State Government in stone walling Telangana struggle and unleashing brute force to suppress total mobilization of Telangana people is there for everybody to see.
It proved beyond doubt that we are living in the times of political dwarfs, who cannot understand what is democracy? but use provisions of democracy illegitimately to stall the most democratic aspirations of Telangana people. Sonia Gandhi, who before 2004 was on the high pedestal, has slowly descended to the level of a scheming politician, created a coterie around her and has become a hostage to it. To her, political numbers and money bags to the Party have become more important than the democratic aspirations of people. Sri Manmohan Singh, from his iconic position a few years back has transformed in to a rubber stamp. His sheepish acknowledgements of his indiscretions after the Parliament and Supreme Court had found fault with him speaks about his down fall. His calculated indifference to such an agonizing ‘Telangana Struggle’ makes his democratic credentials and his ability to take any decision in this matter suspect. Pranab Mukherji, the present day Indian‘Machiavelli’ and the chief advisor to Sonia Gandhi in her political gamesmanship, is calling shots on Telangana. If we take his decade long actions on Telangana in to consideration it is very clear that he is hand in glove with Andhra Congress leaders and an antagonist to Telangana.Chidambaram and Antony though positive in their approach, are arm twisted and are not allowed to say much in the matter. Ahmed Patel, Veerappa Moily and Azad are the political brokers, who are cozier with andhras and their money bags and are blocking the way forward to Telangana.
Therefore, except constitutional compulsions like making Central or/and State governments unstable, any amount of democratic struggle is not going to make impression on this unscrupulous Governments comprising of political dwarfs.Telangana people did every thing, in their power to prove their credentials. It is only the T-Congress and T-tdp legislators, whose lackadaisical support to Telangana people has created this impasse. Though of late, because of the dire need necessitated by the pressure from Telangana people they are doing something, it is too little and is not enough to counter the unholy alliance of Central and State governments. They should go all out. Every Telangana legislator (MP, MLA, and MLC) should come together and fight along with Telangana people. They should with draw support to both Central and State governments by resigning to their positions and create constitutional crisis, in whatever manner it is possible in the present sessions of Parliament and Assembly. They should give up thinking about the prospects of their Parties. This hogwash was going on for too long and vexed Telangana people very much. If they still hanker on the future of their parties, and continue to dent this magnificent effort of Telangana people, they will be buried along with their parties. For the patience of Telangana people is running out. It may take little longer, but it is inevitable. Their political future lies with Telangana people not with the unscrupulous CBN and Sonia Gandhi, whose political days are also numbered, if we go by their undemocratic behavior.
Therefore, T-legislators both Congress and TDP! Come together in whole and prove your credentials to Telangana People! Stop your unscrupulous half hearted attempts! You have baulked several chances with your cowardice! It is now or never! The ball is in your court! Do your Duty!

Parliament says ‘No-Entry’ for visitors from Telangana!
The Indian Parliament is not just barring a discussion on Telangana unrest but is literally barring everyone from the region, except MPs, from entering parliament. There is an invisible ‘No-Entry’ for all Telanganites even if you carry an authentication letter from the Chairman of the Lok Sabha House Committee (no less!), as were we.
After the SKC report so blatantly put in print the unconstitutional, irrational, biased arguments and the flawed details, many eminent people from the fields of constitution, law, economics, Irrigation, agriculture, public employment etc have filed in their critique on the report. I have in my personal capacity too, aired my opinion. TDF India took up the task of collating and publishing the core arguments in these critiques and thus came out with a book ‘Justice Srikrishna’s Injustice’. It is for the release of this book, I along with TDF India President D.P.Reddy, my friends Sujai and Dileep flew to New Delhi.
It is in this context we paid a visit to the Parliament to get into the visitors’ gallery. We were armed with a letter from the office of Chairman of the Lok Sabha House Committee and submitted that along with our ID cards for the mandatory check. However, the officer in the Parliament reception routed us to another officer once he came to know, from our ID cards, that we are from Hyderabad. The second officer dithered on one pretext or the other before he finally told he cannot let us in unless he gets to talk to the Chairman of House Committee himself. The chairman himself is a Lok Sabha MP and obviously he wasn’t in his office as the Parliament was in session. It was clearly a ploy to refuse entry for us. What surprised us was that Telangana MPs knew about this as they told us later in the day that no one from Telangana is allowed in as per Intelligence reports’ instructions. We were clearly told the IB suspects that Telanganites might jump from the visitors’ gallery onto the floor of Lok Sabha and disrupt the proceedings! So upon IB’s assessment, there is a blanket ban on Telanganites from entering the house.
So here is our system of governance that does not trust its own MPs! They issue the authentication letters and the officer at the Parliament reception rejects them! That reflects the state of things. Instead of a blanket ban, the MPs could have been just advised to issue the letters only if they are doubly sure the visitors would behave themselves. Instead, the Government found it easy to make the highest platform of democracy in India restricted for its own citizens. I am just wondering how many states/regions are blacklisted in this case. In addition to Kashmir, the whole of North East, anyone with a Muslim name, a Gorkha name, etc.
While this tamasha was on, the Lok Sabha was stalled for that day with 6 adjournments due to protesting TRS and Congress MPs. We could see on the TV monitor in the reception that KCR sat in the well of the house till the Lok Sabha was adjourned for next day. The Government was caught unawares by the protests that disrupted the day in the crucial budget session. It was especially embarrassed by its own Congress MPs sloganeering in the house ignoring the advice from their colleagues in Congress. Is that not enough of a lesson for the Congress Government? It better concentrate on the ‘attacks’ inside the house from its own party men rather than delude about ‘attacks’ from the visitors’ gallery. For, in days to come, these attacks within would get too close for comfort.

Rs. 20 crore for a bundle of lies
The government has spent more than Rs. 20 crore on the Srikrishna Committee which finally delivered them a pack of lies.
Minister of State for Home Gurudas Kamat said in Lok Sabha today that the Central government has set up the Committee for Consultations on the Situation in Andhra Pradesh (CCSAP) headed by Justice (retd) B.N. Srikrishna on February 3, 2010. “The total expenditure incurred on the CCSAP up to March 4, 2011 is Rs. 20,15,86,242,” he added.

Telangana employees to launch indefinite strike in April
(PTI) Hyderabad: Under flak from some sections of Telangana supporters for calling off their non-cooperation agitation, Andhra Pradesh government employees in Telangana region today said they will launch an indefinite strike in the last week of April.
“We have decided to serve an indefinite strike notice in the last week of April once the examinations of students are over,” N Vithal, a leader of Telangana government employees associations, told reporters here.
“We are very much active in the pro-Telangana agitation and we will continue our struggle till Telangana flag is held aloft on the Assembly building,” K Swamy Goud, another leader, said.
The plans of the Telangana employees to undertake indefinite strike came in the wake of criticism made by some sections of the government employees for calling off the non-cooperation agitation “abruptly” from Saturday last.
The government employees in the region even burnt the effigies of leaders like Swamy Goud at some places.
The Telangana employees, under the aegis of Joint Action Committee, had launched the non-cooperation agitation and abstained from work since February 17.
The government conceded the main demands of the JAC, including ensuring a 42 per cent share in jobs to people from Telangana, constituting a judicial committee to review the implementation of Presidential Order in respect of government jobs and cancelling the “illegal deputation” of officers.
Swamy Goud signed an agreement with the government on implementation of the demands in the presence of Chief Minister N Kiran Kumar Reddy Friday last when they called off the non-cooperation stir “temporarily”.
Swamy Goud and other leaders cited requests from students, parents and pensioners as the reason for calling off the non-cooperation agitation.

నిన్నటి నుంచి పొలీసుల ఓవర్ అక్స్యన్ చూస్తుంటే ఒకటే గుబులు, ఎక్కడ పడితే అక్కడ చెక్ పోస్టులు , అర్రేస్తులు, దాదాపు అన్ని యునివర్సిటీ విద్యార్థులు , విద్యార్థి నాయకులు అర్రెస్ట్ అయినరు, ఉద్యమ కారులు అనుకున్నోల్లు దొంగల లెక్క దాసుకుని దాసుకుని వస్తున్నారు..నిన్నటినుంచి దాదాపు కర్ఫ్యూ వాతావరణం..ఎవడికి ఇబ్బంది పెట్టకుడదని అనుమతి ఇవ్వలేదని ముక్య మంత్రి గారు చెప్పడం చూస్తె చాన జాలేసింది..వీడు మంత్రి ఎట్లా అయిందో దయ చేసి ఎవరికన్నా అర్థం అయితే జర చెప్పుండ్రి..ఎక్కడ లేని ట్రాఫిక్ ఆంక్షలు పెట్టి పట్నం ల ఒక్కడిని సక్కగా తిరగ నీయలే..రాత్రి అంత సరిగ్గా నిద్రనే లేదు, పొద్దున్న లేవగానే అన్ని ఊర్ల కెంచి ఫోన్లు, ఏడ కలుసుకుందాం అని..తోచిన కాడ కలుసుకున్డంలె అనుకున్నాం, డిపి రెడ్డి గారికి ఫోన్ చేసిన..అందరం ఆడనే కలుద్దమనుకున్న గాని, మధ్యలో ఆగి ఇంకొద్ది మంది మిత్రులని చూసి పోదామని హిమాయత్ నగర్ ల ఉన్నా , జమున పుష్కర్ కూడ వచ్చిందని తెలుసుకొని మాట్లాడిన, విమల, దేవకీ దేవి వాలు జర ఆటు పోయిన్రు, గమ్మతి ఏందంటే ఎవరికీ తెలవదు ఏడికి పోవాలనో, ఎట్లా పోవాలనో, మొత్తానికి అందరం అర్రేస్ట్లకు సిద్దమయే బయలు దేరినాము, నా కైతే నిన్నటి నుంచే ఇంటెలి జేంస్ వాడు తలకాయ తిన్తనే ఉన్నాడు, నువ్వు ఏడికి పోతున్నవ్, ఎంత మందిని తీస్క పోతున్నవ్..సంవత్సరం నుంచి అలవాటు అయింది కాబట్టి పెద్ద కష్టం కాలే వాడిని హండిల్ చేయడం..
..హిమాయత్ నగర్ రానికి ఒక్క కష్టాలు కావు, అన్ని చోట్ల పోలీసులు దార్లు మలుపుతున్నారు, చెప్పలేనంత బాద అయింది తమ్మి! నా హైదరాబాదుకు , నట్ట నడుమ ఉన్న నా ట్యాంక్ బండ్ కు రానికి ఇన్ని తిప్పలు , ఇన్ని బాధలని అని ఒక సారి దుక్ఖం ఒచ్చింది.. ఎక్కడి బతుకులు, ఏడికి వొచ్చినయి, వాని బొంద పెట్ట, ఇరాని చాయిలు పాయె, రోడ్డు మీద చాట్ బండిలు పాయె..సక్కని ఫుట్ పాత్ లు బోయి అమెరిక కంపనీలకు బజార్లన్నీ అమ్ముడు పాయె..ఒక్క షాపు చూడానికి కూడ మనసైత లేదు ఇయాల రేపు..ఎట్లనో మహేష్ కార్ల తీసుక పోత అన్నడు, నేను, భరత్, మహేష్ ఎన్నో గల్లిలు తిరిగి మొత్తానికి టాంక్ బండ్ చేరుకున్నాము. చిన్న ఇరుకు ఇరుకు మెట్ల కెంచి ఒక్క సారి పైకి ఎక్కంగనే, ఒకటే సంతోషం ఎవరెస్ట్ ఎక్కినంత..హుస్సేన్ సాగర్ చల్ల గాలి పేయి కి తగలంగనే ఒక్కసారి ‘స్వేచ్చ’ గాలి చుట్టుకున్నట్టు అయింది, ఆంధ్రా కంపు వాసనలు, అరువు తెచ్చుకున్న మొహాలు, ప్రేమలు ఏవి కన పడ్త లేవు, సంకెళ్ళను తెంచు కున్న సంతోషం, గెలుపు మాదే అన్న ధీమా, చెవుల్లో మార్మోగుతున్న నినాదాలు..ఎవడబ్బా సొమ్మురా తెలంగాణా మాదిరా, కదిలిందిర తెలంగాణా , ఖబడ్ దార్ , ఖబడ్ దార్, ఔర్ ఎక్ ధక్కా , తెలంగాణా పక్కా…గొంతులు చించుకుని అరుస్తున్నారు, స్వేచ్చా వాణి టాంక్ బండ్ అంతా మార్మోగుతున్నది, అది ఒక సెమినార్ కాదు, మీటింగ్ కాదు, ఒక నాయకుడు లేదు, ఎవరు ఏమైనా చేయొచ్చు, ఎక్కడికి అయిన పోవచ్చు.. అంతా నావోల్లె..అంత నా జాగనే..మొట్ట మొదటనే మా భూమి సంధ్యక్క గ్రూప్ కలిసింది, అక్క పాడుతుంటే అందరు డాన్స్ ఎసినం..సంధ్యక్క పాట గురించి చెప్పేదేముంది, రేపు చస్తా అనేతోడు కూడ లేచి డాన్స్ ఎస్తాడు..
మీ అందరి మీద ఒట్టేసి చెపుతున్నా , ఒక్క అన్ద్రోది మొకం కాన రాలే అంత మందిల..రేపు గిట్ల నా తెలంగాణాల అంద్రోలు లేకపోతె ఇంత బాగుంటదా ఏంది అనిపించింది.. తీరొక్క జెండాలు, పార్టీలు అక్కడక్కడ ఉన్నాయి, లాయర్లు, విద్యార్థులు, సింగరేణి, టీచర్లు, వర్కర్లు..ఇకటి కాదు రెండు కాదు , చూడ నికి రెండు కండ్లు చాల్త లేవు..మరో వైపు మహిళ జాక్, జలజ పాట జోరుగా అందుకున్నది, మద్యల నేర్నాల కిషోర్, రామక్క బృందం బతుకమ్మ పాట పాడి మస్తు ఆడిపిన్చిన్రు..మస్తు ఎండల కూడ ఎవరు అలిసి పోతలే, దాదాపుగా అన్ని ఊర్ల నుంచి జనం వచ్చిన్రు, లొల్లి లొల్లి..నాకు తెలిసిన ప్రతి ఉద్యమ కార్య కర్త కనపడ్డారు..ఈ మద్యల అందరిని కలుసుడు అంటే తెలంగాణా మీటింగులే! ఇవే పెండ్లి పేరంటాలు..ముచ్చట్లు, వీర గాధలు ఒక్కొక్కరం ఎన్ని కష్టాలు పడి వచ్చినమో చెప్పుకొని మురిసి పోవుడు..ఇంతలనే రేవతి అక్క ఫోన్ చేసింది, ఏడికి రావాలే అని, చెప్పినం..తిరిగి తిరిగి ఎడినించి రానీయట్లేదని ఒక్కతె ఇంటికి పోయిందంట..మస్తు బాద అయింది..రేవతి, ఒక ప్రొఫెస్సర్, తెలంగాణాల ఏదో ఒక పని చేస్తనే ఉంటది సైలెంట్ గా, రాస్తానే ఉంటది, మాట్లడతనే ఉంటది..ఇంత పెద్ద ఎత్తున మంది కదిలోస్తే చూడానికి దార్లు బందు బెట్టిన్రు, అట్లా ఎంత మంది ఎనక్కి పోయిన్రో బిడ్డలు, ఎంత చిన్న బుచ్చుకున్నారో, ..ఎవడబ్బ సొమ్మురా ఈ హైదరాబాద్? మా ఇంట్లకొచ్చి, మా హైదరాబాద్ చుట్టు ముళ్ళ కంచెలు కడతార..ఖబడ్ దార్ ఒక్కొక్కడికి గోరీలు కట్టే రోజులోచ్చిని..మంచిగా పొతే మంచిది, లేకపోతె ఎట్లా తోలాల్నో మావోల్లకి బాగా తెలుసు..
తెల్లని పాల పిట్ట ఓలే గద్దరన్న తెల్ల లాల్చి ఏసుకొని ‘పొడుస్తున్న పొద్దు మీద నడుస్తున్న కాలమా’ అని అందరితోని పాడిపిస్తుండు, అయన చుట్టూ జనం మస్తుగున్నారు, ప్రతిజ్ఞ చేసింరు, ఒక్క మీడియా కూడా రాలే నాకు తెలిసి..అవును అయన పాడిపించి, ఆడిపించి, తెలంగాణాని రగిలిన్చోడే కాని మాటలు నేర్చిన రాజ కీయ నాయకుడు కాదు కదా..అయినా టీవి ని లెక్ఖ బెట్టినోడేవడు..ఎవ్వని ఖుషి వానిదే, ఆడోల్లు ఒక తాన ఆడుతానే ఉన్నారు, ఎవరికీ వారు పాడతనే ఉన్నారు. ఇంతలో కాంగ్రెస్ నాయకులకి బుద్ది చెప్పి పంపింరని, ఇంకింత సంబురం..కష్ట పడి ఓట్లేసి, నాయకులను చేసి గెలిపిస్తే..కనీసం ఒక్క పర్మిషన్ కూడ ఇప్పించ లేరు, పరీక్ష వాయిదా వేయించ లేరు, డిజిపి తో మాట్లాడ లేరు..ఇంక సోనియా దాక ఎందుకులే ముచ్చట.. ఇంతకి వీళ్ళ ధైర్యాన్ని మెచ్చుకోవాలి..అయినా అందరి నాయకులకి ఇదే గతి పడతాడని భయపడ్డాం , కాని ఎం కాలే..దొంగలు బద్దంక పోలిసోల్లు ఒచ్చినట్టు మా నాయకులు లెట్ ఎంట్రి ఇచ్చింరు, ఎప్పటి లేక్ఖనే జర మంది కూదిన్రు, కాని అప్పటికే అందరికి తెలిసి పోయింది, ఇంక ఎక్కువ రోజులు నాటకాలు ఆడవని! ఇంకో వైపు చూస్తె హరీష్ రావు , ఇటల బోట్ల వస్తున్నారని విని మస్త మజా వచ్చింది, నయం ఇంక పైనుంచి రాలేదు, అయిన ఎక్కడి కష్టాలు మా నాయకులకి, ఎంత చెప్పిన తక్కువే వాళ్ళ గురించి..నవ్ ఐ డోంట్ వాంట్ టు వేస్ట్ మై టైం ఆన్ థెం, ఇది ఏ రాజ కీయ పార్టీ కష్టమూ కాదు..కేవలం ప్రజా విజయం, పార్టీలు స్వార్థ పూరిత ఆలోచనలతో వెనక అడుగేస్తే , మేమున్నాం అనుకుంటూ ముందడుగు వేసేది ఎపుడు ప్రజలే..
అంత అయిపొయింది అనకుంటే కొంత మంది విగ్రహాలు ద్వంసం చేస్తున్నారని వార్త, కడుపు మండుతుంటే ఎం చేస్తారు, అయినా ఇది కూడా సీమ ఆంద్ర ప్రభుత్వం ఆడి పిస్తున నాటకం ఎందుకు కాకూడదు? అవును, నాలుగు విగ్రహాలు ద్వంసం అయితే అన్ద్రోల్లు గాంధి తాతకి పాలు అభిషేకం చేస్తున్నారు, కొవ్వొత్తుల ప్రదర్శన అంతా, టీవిలకి ఇంక పండగా, ఒక్క విగ్రహం పొతే ఇంత బాద పడితే , మా భాష, యాస, బతుకులు పోయినందుకు మేము ఎన్ని పాల సముద్రాలు అప్పు తెచ్చుకోవాలె? ఒక టీవి వాడు “మార్చిచ్చు” అంటడు, ఇంకోడు “రణ మార్చ్” అంటడు, మరోడు “ఉద్యమమా ;విద్వంసమ” , “డెమ లిష్ మార్చ్ ” అన్ని చానళ్లల్ల చర్చలే చర్చలు..పొద్దున్నుంచి ప్రజలు ఎంత కష్టపడి తమ ఇంట్లకి తాము వచ్చి పోలిసోల్లని ఏడ బెట్టాల్నో ఆడ పెడితే, ఒక్కడు వేయడు, ఊర్ల కి పోతున్న వాళ్ళని అర్రేస్ట్లు చేసి చిత్ర హింసలు పెడితే పట్టించు కోరు, తెలంగాణా అంటే మావో ఇష్టులు అని పర్యాయ పదాలు వెతుక్కొంటే ఎట్లా, నేను ఎప్పుడో చెప్పిన, ప్రశ్నించే వాడే, అన్యాయాన్ని ఎదిరించే వాడే నక్ష లైట్ అయితే మేము నాలుగు కోట్ల మందిమి నక్ష లైట్లే..అసాంఘిక శక్తులు ఉన్నాయి అంటడు మా డిజిపి..మా భూములు గుంజుకొని, ఉద్యోగాలు గుంజుకొని, మమ్మల్ని దూర దేశాలకు పనికి పోయేటట్టు చేసిన మీరా , మేమా అసాంఘిక శక్తులు ? అమ్మ , అయ్యలకి దూరమై, అంద మైన నా షహర్ , శౌహర్ కి దూరమయి బతుకుతున్నాం, మీరు దొంగలా మేమా? మా నాయకుల బొమ్మలు పెట్టలేదని బాద ఎక్కువైంది , ఏమ్చేస్తారు అన్న? కెమెరాలు పోయినాయ్ ఒకే, ఉంటె కూడ ఎం లాభం చెప్పు, ఒక్కటన్నా మా ఉద్యమం సక్కగుందని ఏసే తోల్లా ? అయినా మీరు ఏది ఎయాలనుకున్నారో అదే ఎసిన్రు, మా వోల్లాని బోను లో నిలబెట్టి గుచ్చి గుచ్చి ప్రశ్నలు అడుగుతున్రు..ఒక వేల ఇది మా వొల్లె చేసుంటే, ఇదే ఈ ఆంధ్రా మీడియా కి గుణ పాఠం..
ఎవడు ఏమి కూసినా, ఈ గడ్డ మాది, అన్ని అదికారాలు మావి, తెలంగాణా రోజు రోజు కి ముందుకి పోతున్నది, అడ్డం వస్తే మరి ఎం చేస్తాడో ఇవ్వాల చూడనే చూసిన్రు.సోనియమ్మ కళ్ళు తెరిచి నపుడే తెలంగాణా ఇచ్చేతట్టయితే మాకు ఏ రాజ కీయ పార్టీలు అవసరం లేదు, రోజు కో పానం పోతుందీ మా పిలగాల్లది, ఎం చేస్తావ్ కాపాడానికి? మీరందరినీ హంతకులుగా నిల బెడతాము..మీరు సక్కగా ఉంటె మాకు ఈ గతి ఎందుకు పడతది?
ప్రజలు ఒక్కటిగా ఉన్నారు, కొందరు నాయకులు ఉన్నారేమో అని అపోహలు పడుతున్నారు, అంత లేదు..నిస్వార్థం గా ప్రజలు ముందుకొచ్చి పోరాడుతున్నారు.. కుల మతాలకి అతీతంగా, అందరిని కలుపుకుందాం, రాజ కీయ పార్టీలను పక్కన పెడదాం, ప్రజా పోరాటాలని నిర్మిద్దాం.. కేంద్రం ఇయాల కదుల్తడి, నేషనల్ మీడియా వచ్చింది కదా..ఇంక ఎవడి రాజ కీయ ఎత్తుగడలు ఇపుడు అవసరం లేదు..ఆరంభ శూరత్వం! ఏమి లేదు..
“భయాన్ని జయిస్తే అతి ప్రమాద కరమైన శత్రువుని జయించి నట్లే” అని ఎవరో అన్నాట్లు, మేం జయిన్చాం, మాకు పోలిసులంటే భయం లేదు, రాజ కీయ నాయకులు అంటే ప్రేమ లేదు, మా ప్రాణాల్ని ఫణం గా పెట్ట కుండా, నువ్వు కూడ తెలంగాణా తెచ్చే టందుకు లాడాయికి సిద్దం కా తమ్ముడు..
ప్రాణం ఖరీదు చెప్ప గలరా? ఎస్, ఒక ప్రాణం ఖరీదు తెలంగాణా! ఒక ప్రాణం ఖరీదు ఒక రాజ కీయ నాయకుడి హత్య/బహిష్కరణ, కొత్త తరం కోసం అన్వేషణ..లేకపోతె పైన ఉన్న తమ్ముళ్ళు, చెల్లెళ్ళు, అన్నలు మనల్ని క్షమించారు..

Nowadays, our leaders are hinting at the people’s movement in Egypt as an example for telangana movement. One must realize, what is the reason behind the success of such a movement in Egypt? If 384 deaths could realize the dreams of an independent country…..shouldn’t 600 deaths realize our dream of an independent state? But that did not happen here…Why? Because the Egyptian police…and the Army were with the people in that rebellion….they did not fight with their own brethren instead fought against their leader, Hosni Mubarak. That is when Mubarak lost the race. Once the army and police joined hands with the people…Mubarak realized the end of his regime and gave up. Libya is another good example in this context. All the parts where the Libyan army joined hands with the people are controlled by the rebels and the regions where army did not join with the people remained with Gaddhafi. This is another reason why Libyan revolution was not as fruitful as the Egyptian. The bottom line from the ‘Jasmine revolution’ is that until the army (police, in our case) joins hands with the people….the ultimate dream will NOT be realized. Why are not the telangana police joining the movement? We all know, they are important to restore peace in our region…but they also have a role to play in this historical movement. They should have supported movements such as Non-cooperation, Million March, etc…but they failed. One can understand that the City police are infiltrated by Seemandhra cops so they will not support our struggle….but what happened to the police in the districts? Why did they arrest so many innocent men and women ahead of the million march for no reason? They cannot say that they are afraid of their higher authorities as in the case of our politicians. One can recall the incident of police brutality against people in Karimnagar town just because the district SP was transferred. How come they did not think of higher authorities then?
Let’s only hope that they will join the people very soon. Million March is a warning to all the cops in telangana, join the movement now or face the wrath. Someone like KCR should publicly warn the police against booking innocent people. I personally feel, we should save all the videos of this police brutality for future reference. Once Telangana is realized, we need to identify each policeman and book atrocity cases on each of them. None shall be spared for their brutality….Jai Telangana.

The day of March has arrived and started on a sad note. Shaken by the oppressive police, a graduate student in Khammam committed suicide. Another attempted the same at Basheerbagh press club. The arrests continued unabated, mainly in the outskirts and in the districts. Within the city, the police strategised more on barricading and cordoning off areas around Tank Bund, Secretariat and Assembly. All roads in these areas were blocked, ending up disconnecting Hyderabad and Secunderabad. I failed to find a route through the Masab Tank road, the Taj Banjara road or the Khairatabad’s track area towards Tank Bund. Police were on guard everywhere. I have never in my life seen such a deserted Hyderabad. See the Khairatabad junction here. I ended up on Necklace road through the by lanes and then drove around the lake to lower tank bund road. At the Mosque there, the Muslim youth helped us park and trek up the tank bund.
It was around 2.00 PM and by then thousands made their way. By then the barricades were broken and the main entrance to lower tank bund road from Liberty was wide open. So people from liberty took the road. While others on NTR Gardens, Necklace road side canoed over Hussain Sagar! Well, if the state government took up foiling this March on a war-footing by randomly arresting or harassing people from participating, it clearly lost the war.
The importance of today’s Million March for Telangana movement:
It was clear the politicians were trying to distance themselves from the Million March. They tried to even ‘postpone’ it. But the pressure of the non-political civil society groups within the TJAC made this March inevitable. Today’s turnout at tank bund is a eye-opener for all political parties. Without any mobilization from the parties, like for Telangana garjana in Warangal, around 1 lakh gathered at Tank Bund. This is despite the unofficial curfew, the traffic blockades, the arrests and the detentions of TJAC leadership. For anyone who has doubts about the depth of the movement, todays’ turnout and the uncompromising will behind it should provide the answer. The unwilling politicians too attended, to save their face. People’s will prevailed.
The creative expressions at the March:
As the telangana movement has time and again shown, there is no dearth of creativity in expressing the ideas and aspirations of the movement.
Firstly, there were the masks. Scores of people turned out in Masks of Gandhi, Ambedkar and even Professor Kodandram. When news flew that the professor may be arrested in the morning, the masks of his face were prepared and worn to mock at the police about the impending arrest. Of course, when the real arrest happened, the agitators found no fun in it and flew into a rage and even dismantled some statues on the bund, dragged them across the road and threw them into Hussain Sagar.
Secondly, the dhoom-dhaam and the songs raised the pitch as they usually do. Accompanied by a stereo in a four wheeler which managed to squeeze in, the songs, especially Gaddar’s raised the tempo. The youth danced to the beats and a festive atmosphere ensued.
Meanwhile, women played bathukamma and sung. Some carried bonalu. Kids came in with attires of Gandhi, Nehru, Patel etc and played short skits encouraging the movement. Youth rallied around, some with their hands chained, some with their mouths covered symbolically. My friend Madhav carried a huge Indian flag around getting an odd compliment from one of the policemen! All organizations and groups which came with their banners rallied to and fro, sloganeering about Telangana, between the two ends of lower tank bund. The 2 ends were guarded by police and paramilitary forces. As was the adjoining Telugu Thalli flyover.
The Armed forces:
The paramilitary forces stood and watched as thousands poured in overcoming barricades in different parts of city. And I was told they gave up only at 1 PM before which they tried stopping by arresting people. But very soon they must have realised they can not arrest 100,000 people. However, they were the guys who saved the 2 MPs present, Madhu Yashki and K Keshava Rao, from being manhandled by the irate mob for not doing enough for Telangana movement. Even the media faced the ire of the public for all their recent dramas about NBA guidelines and the biased reporting. Some of their cameras were snatched and thrown into Hussain Sagar.
The agitators were prepared for the scorching sun too. Some came in with caps and most of them arranged for their water packets. Somewhere between 3.00 PM and 4.00 PM Mr. KCR came in and settled at Pothana’s statue with his followers. Gaddar made his exit. Emotions were running high by then and one law student attempted suicide too. May be, it is this mood of the agitators that made the politicians cautious today. None who came there tried to address, appeal or instruct the public at large. Maybe, the Professor could have been different if he were allowed to attend the March. At last, the pledge for Telangana was taken. A pledge that, in its essence, says we would put up an uncompromising fight for Telangana’s demerger. Come what may.
While the dusk set in, we stepped down the tank bund. Discussed the day’s events among us friends over some cool drinks while the neighbourhood residents cheered the agitators on the Bund from their balconies and terraces. If not for the political leadership within the movement, Tank Bund would have been Tahrir Square within an indefinite sit-in. The cheering neighbours would have joined, the folks who were arrested would have joined too and the numbers would have swelled into millions. The Govt. must be feeling lucky that the dusk has set in and rescued them. They must be feeling lucky that the agitators didn’t head towards the secretariat or Assembly. But then as I walked the half mile back to the Mosque recollecting the day’s frenzy, I felt the March has now only begun and it is now unstoppable.

In the good old game of spying. For the first time, pro-Telangana leaders are being ‘tailed’ by undercover policemen to keep a watch on their activities related with separate Telangana movement. A three-day spying exercise was launched on March 8 in connection with the Million March of Telangana protagonists. Policemen are to ‘shadow’ important leaders belonging to Telangana Rashtra Samiti (TRS), Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) and the Telangana Joint Action Committee (TJAC) even at mandal level until March 10.
“Every ‘marked’ leader and activist has three undercover men, usually unfamiliar constables, assigned round-the-clock. These policemen keep a track of every movement of their ‘quarry’ during the period only to facilitate stopping him in his tracks,” reveals a police officer about the latest in agitation control methodology.
The Telangana students have some real cricket skills, The police force have been pelting stones at the students at the OU campus. A student was seen trying to bat stones pelted by Indian military. Yeah, world cup fever is around and the students are using the cricket skills and hitting back the stones at the opponent.

The Million March to Hyderabad was a huge success, the Telanganites have shown that none can stop the Telanganites to join the March. Telanganites have today shown the real spirit and desire for the separate statehood of Telangana. They have gone extremes to make their point loud and clear. Women also took active part in the event and attended in large numbers. Nothing stopped them from reaching Tank bund. Arrests, barricades, barbed wires, nothing could stop them. By 3 p.m., more than 1 lakh people gathered at Tank bund, over a lakh arrested, and a million more were stopped from reaching hyderabad.
Telanganites have created history. Nothing like this has happened before. They have shown to the world that Telangana is a people’s desire. The March has been very peaceful. More than the Million March, it was the government that caused inconvenience to the people.
People were seen singing songs, doing bathukamma dances, and participating in dhoom dham all over Tank bund.
We whole heatedly say million thanks to everyone involved and made ‘Million March’ a huge success.
At around 11:45am the OU students have all started as a rally raising JAI TELANGANA slogans towards the Tank Bund from the Arts College in Hyderabad. The OU main gate has been broken and the students have seen barging out of the OU Campus. The situation is very tensed with the students and police force clashing. The students said that they are not afraid of the police, they are used to lathicharge, students have taken beatings, rubber bullets in the past and it is not new to them.
The police force has been doing aerial search on the OU campus, the OU campus is very tensed. Tear gas has been used on the students to disperse them. Stone pelting also started at the OU campus. Police force are again brutally beating the students left anf right.
They are very keen on reaching the Tank Bund at any cost and show their solidarity to the Million March.
The OU JAC students talking to the media condemned the actions of CM Kiran Kumar Reddy, Governor Narasimhan, DGP Aravind Rao, Commisioner AK Khan. They are very angry with the way police force is acting in Hyderabad, They said that already a large number of students have reached the OU campus in Hyderabad. They said that they all will, start as a rally from OU campus and move towards the Tank Bund and will pledge for the Telangana at any cost.
It has to be noted that the gates of the OU Campus has been blocked by the police force, It is very tensed at the OU campus. Students went on to say that they will clear all the obstacles, reach Tank Bund. If they try to obstruct the students the govt will be held responsible for the consequences.
They made a statement that it is a moral victory for all the TELANGANITES, as the govt was scared of Million March and trying to disrupt the movement.
The Telanganites have started reaching Tank Bund in Hyderabad. Policemen are trying to chase away the Telangana supporter. At places in the city the policemen are brutally lathicharging to disperse the Telanganites and arresting them. Well, the Telanganites are also detemined and stubborn to reach Tank Bund and show their solidarity for the “Million March”. The situation around Tank Bund has a deserted look with the police force blocking all the roads leading to the Tank Bund. Looks like the police force have no idea of the strength of the Telanganites. They will be crushed when all the Telanganites raise the slogan “JAI TELANGANA” together.
A large number of people coming from Nalgonda have been arrested near Tank Bund and have been taken to the police station.
If the police force tries to obsturct the March it would be clash between the govt forces and the Telangana supporters and the situation will be out of control.
Prof. Kodandaram the convenor of the political JAC talking to the media said that the govt has been trying to suppress the Million March. He said that if the police force has its own plans to disrupt the march, we also have our own plans and the March will be made a huge success. Prof. Kodandaram said that the police force has been provoking the Telangana supporters at every place in the Telangana. We will make the March a huge success by reaching Tank Bund and pledging for the separate statehood of Telangana at the Tank Bund.
He criticised the govt’s move to stall all the Telanganites at different places and not allowing them to come to Hyderabad. He went on to say that it looks like “police march” in Hyderabad.
Time has come to show your support and create history, shake the state and central govt tell them that every Telanganite is wanting the separate statehood of Telangana. Lakhs of Telanganites are coming to Hyderabad to join the ‘Million March to Hyderadad’, Telanganites from every district are forming groups and are coming to Hyderabad.
Police force are creating more hard times for the Telangana supporters.
Come on Telaganites “ABH NAHI THO KABHI NAHI…” This is our state come on to the roads and join the march.
The TRS Politician, Nayini Narasimha Reddy was arrested in Hyderabad at his residence, There was no reason for the arrest. Nayini demanded the reason why he was getting arrested. Nayini was at his house when the police arrested him. Nayini’s supporters condemend the arrest, demanded the release of Nayini and said that the govt and policemen are trying to disrupt the Million March that would be peacefully conducted.
The policemen are making the situation tense in Hyderabad.
Today afternoon I switched on the TV and saw a Superintendent of Police speak about the various ‘precautionary measures’ that the department is taking. These include:
By conservative estimates over 1,00,000 people (yes! You read it right. One lakh people) were arrested in 10 districts of Telangana. Of this 11,000 arrests were made in Hyderabad.
All this to prevent a peaceful rally to a tourist place called Tank Bund in Hyderabad!
People just want to take a pledge for Telangana in the presence of Lord Buddha – a symbol of peace.
Representations from TRS, TDP, Congress, BJP, CPI MLAs and scores of peoples, students organizations to the state Chief Minister and Home Minister requesting permission for the Million March rally have fallen on deaf ears.
While a dictator named Hosni Mubarak allowed lakhs of his citizens to march into Tahrir Square, here is a ‘democratic government’ which is trampling on its citizen’s basic rights.
Why does this happen only in Telangana?
It happens because we let it happen.
And this is the right time to tell our Seemandhra and Delhi rulers that we WILL NOT TOLERATE THIS ANYMORE.
If you live outside Hyderabad, call your mother, father, uncle, aunt, brother, sister, or a friend who lives in Telangana and ask them to participate in the rally.
The police might erect barricades and block all routes to Tank Bund or even Hyderabad. But ask your relative/friend to go till that last barricade and register their protest with the police officer or media person there. Ask them to raise ‘Jai Telangana’ slogan and see how people around them respond.
Life is not about winning, but about making a sincere attempt.
Let us all make a sincere attempt to participate in the Telangana Million March.
Long after Telangana state is formed and when we grow old, let us feel proud to tell our grand children that we were a part of the historic Telangana Million March.
We have seen enough history. For once, let us create it!

The last 2 days made me wonder if the autocratic Egypt and the dictatorship in Libya are better than the supposedly ‘world’s largest democracy’ in public freedom. Even the British may not have clamped down on the democratic protests as aggressively as our state government is now doing. This Govt. randomly arrests, detains people. They restrict people from their own cities and towns. They casually disregard rights commissions’ instructions and callously violate high court’s guidelines. Tomorrow is yet another day the police promise they would be at their worst. Today, the whole of Hyderabad has become Tiananmen Square for Telangana people. As you all know, the protest rally tomorrow has been cut down in scale due to a +2 exam that is scheduled for tomorrow. The Telangana Joint Action Committee (TJAC) which earlier called for the ‘Million March’ did so on an understanding with the Intermediate Examination board that the exam could be rescheduled for 12 March. However, the State government prevailed upon the board not to reschedule, to whittle down the protests. Keeping in view the importance of the exam for youth’s career, the protests have been scaled down for few hours after the exam ends tomorrow.
TJAC has been very sensitive to the public in its scheduling of different kinds of protests. Even in December 2009, when the protests were at their peak with dailyrasta-rokos, bandhs etc, Christmas day was given an exception so as to avoid inconvenience to our Christian brethren. Very recently, blockade of a national highway NH9 was postponed keeping in view a community festival. While TJAC, which comprises of intellectuals and civil society groups have been so reasonable, the state government is going to the abyss in trying to quell the protests and suppress democratic voices. Today, even as I mail you, the government announced cancellation of all trains within Hyderabad and those that are coming in from other Telangana districts into Hyderabad tomorrow. The government is trying every trick to stop people from coming to the protest march. It has diverted all bus services to avoid taking the central route through Hyderabad city. 100,000 people have been detained today across other Telangana districts as they were trying to come to Hyderabad. Within Hyderabad 10,000 people have been detained. T he police say that the main area of protest, Tank Bund besides the Hussain Sagar Lake, will be cordoned off tomorrow.
While TJAC called for peaceful protests, Andhra Government made it virtually a bandh by cancelling public transport and bringing in traffic restrictions. While TJAC called for a million march, the government contributed 100,000 police men/paramilitary forces in and around Hyderabad. That is a good start. I wish the police show the same enthusiasm in tackling the drug trade, the faction killings and the land mafia in the city. It is amusing to see the commissioner speak how the TJAC should do democratic, lawful, peaceful protests. For the record, the police did not give a single permission for any democratic meeting, rally in last 15 months. The police refused each time and the agitators diligently went to high court/supreme court to get permissions and got them. It is the police, on the other hand, who were severely criticized for their handling of the democratic protests. The atrocities in OU received international attention when REPORTERS WITHOUT BORDERScondemned the police action in the university. The police have been repeatedly put to notice by the State’s HRC and the national HRC. But the police, being willing party to the government’s anti-Telangana policy, won’t budge. Instead they lecture us on how to uphold democratic values.
Even as I blog this, I see the SHRC once again instruct the police to uphold human rights of the agitators. But of course they would not heed. But then the agitators have already been conditioned for the enemy. And the March will be on in the face of the enemy. And when the dust settles down, the state and the police will have yet another humiliation they need to shoulder, in addition to those of bandhs, rail-rokos and assembly muttadis that they already have faced. This would be another self-goal from the government. In their insecurity over losing to the Telangana people, they will end up disrupting public life and imprisoning themselves in their houses. And eventually they would meet the same fate as the Arab and African dictators. Till then the March of the Millions would be on.

In the districts of the Telangana the police force are seen warning the Telanganites from going to Hyderabad. They have going home to home and are asking for youngsters at the homes. If the youngsters are not at home, the policemen have issued warnings to their family. A few of the family members talking to the media said that the policemen behaviour was not good and they are provoking the Telangana supporters.
In all the district bus stations the policemen are going to the passengers and warned and chased the Telangana supporters from the bus stations. Every vehicle with passengers are stopped and questioned. They are trying to suppress the Million March.
With the Million March scheduled to be started in the next few hours, the Telangana districts are full of police force. Pickets have been set up, If the policemen finds any person who is planning on coming to Hyderabad they are cross questioned and arrested. Every road leading to Hyderabad has been setup with check posts and places the Telanganites are even beaten.
Some of the Telangana supporters are being chased by the police and the T supporters are also very stubborn on coming to Hyderabad. Policemen are seen asking for IC cards from the people and are warning the people from going to Hyderabad.
Large number of Policemen and platoons have been deployed in the Telangana region.
After a long long time the congress MLA from Jubilee Hills talked in support of the Telangana, He said that he will pariticipate in the “Million March”. It has to be remembered that Vishnu is the son of late PJR, who was very strong supporter of Telangana, he said that his dad’s dream was to see the separate statehood of Telangana and he wants his dad’s dream to come true. PJR was the politician who worked for the people who were in need of help and were backward.
He went on to say that he is a also a very strong supporter of separate statehood of Telangana.
In the history of the South Central Railways the trains have never been cancelled. Today the South Central Railyways made a statement that the trains leading to the Hyderabad will be cancelled on the March 10. It has to be noted that the Telangana supporters are all marching towards Hyderabad to show their support and solidarity for the separate statehood of Telangana.
What’s next, will the govt cancell all the buses towards Hyderabad?
Come on… state and Central governments is this democracy.

The govt is all set to obstruct and disrupt the Million march. The news coming out that thousands of Telangana supporters will be taken into custody by the time the Million March starts. Already, the govt has set up check posts around the city of Hyderabad, policemen are keeping an eye on all the train stations and bus stations to arrest the Telangana supporters who are planning on coming to Hyderabad.
The govt and police force has identified some areas in the Telangana where they imposed 144 section and trying to disrupt the Million March.
The Telangana supporters are criticising the govt’s move of obstructing and disrupting the Million March. They are questioning as “IDHI OKA GOVT AAA?”
Hundreds of Telangana supporters are being arrested left and right by the police force. The arrests have no reason. It looks like the govt and police dept are trying to suppress the Million March to Hyderabad. In greater hyderabad area the Telangana supporters have been arrested last night. TRSV students are also arresrted. In Warangal the police have been searching for the Telangana supporters house by house and arresting the Telangana supporters. In all the districts of the Telangana the police force are keeping an eye on the train stattions, bus stations. Police force have already setup pickets at all the roads leading to Hyderabad.
The Telangana supporters are also not backing off they said that at any cost they will be participating in the Million March to Hyderabad and demanded that the govt and police force not to act stupid and stop provoking the Telangana supporters.
The telangana supportes made a statement that “If the govt tries to create obstacled and obstruct the Million March to Hyderabad, the Govt will be held responsibel for all the consequences.”
“We have decided to serve an indefinite strike notice in the last week of April once the examinations of students are over,” N Vithal, a leader of Telangana government employees associations, told reporters here.
“We are very much active in the pro-Telangana agitation and we will continue our struggle till Telangana flag is held aloft on the Assembly building,” K Swamy Goud, another leader, said.
The plans of the Telangana employees to undertake indefinite strike came in the wake of criticism made by some sections of the government employees for calling off the non-cooperation agitation “abruptly” from Saturday last.
The government employees in the region even burnt the effigies of leaders like Swamy Goud at some places.
The Telangana employees, under the aegis of Joint Action Committee, had launched the non-cooperation agitation and abstained from work since February 17.
The government conceded the main demands of the JAC, including ensuring a 42 per cent share in jobs to people from Telangana, constituting a judicial committee to review the implementation of Presidential Order in respect of government jobs and cancelling the “illegal deputation” of officers.
Swamy Goud signed an agreement with the government on implementation of the demands in the presence of Chief Minister N Kiran Kumar Reddy Friday last when they called off the non-cooperation stir “temporarily”.
Swamy Goud and other leaders cited requests from students, parents and pensioners as the reason for calling off the non-cooperation agitation.

KK says he is happy that he was targeted, ha ha
KK thought that he would get a lot of publicity by coming to the Million March. The Telangana supporters showed their anger and hurled chappals at him. There was nothing KK could do but just leave the place. Talking to the media KK said that he is not at all worried that he was treated with chappals, he sai he would not complain in this regards. He went on to explain that the Telangana supporters were very angry and they had to get the anger out and they saw him and hurled chappals.

..హిమాయత్ నగర్ రానికి ఒక్క కష్టాలు కావు, అన్ని చోట్ల పోలీసులు దార్లు మలుపుతున్నారు, చెప్పలేనంత బాద అయింది తమ్మి! నా హైదరాబాదుకు , నట్ట నడుమ ఉన్న నా ట్యాంక్ బండ్ కు రానికి ఇన్ని తిప్పలు , ఇన్ని బాధలని అని ఒక సారి దుక్ఖం ఒచ్చింది.. ఎక్కడి బతుకులు, ఏడికి వొచ్చినయి, వాని బొంద పెట్ట, ఇరాని చాయిలు పాయె, రోడ్డు మీద చాట్ బండిలు పాయె..సక్కని ఫుట్ పాత్ లు బోయి అమెరిక కంపనీలకు బజార్లన్నీ అమ్ముడు పాయె..ఒక్క షాపు చూడానికి కూడ మనసైత లేదు ఇయాల రేపు..ఎట్లనో మహేష్ కార్ల తీసుక పోత అన్నడు, నేను, భరత్, మహేష్ ఎన్నో గల్లిలు తిరిగి మొత్తానికి టాంక్ బండ్ చేరుకున్నాము. చిన్న ఇరుకు ఇరుకు మెట్ల కెంచి ఒక్క సారి పైకి ఎక్కంగనే, ఒకటే సంతోషం ఎవరెస్ట్ ఎక్కినంత..హుస్సేన్ సాగర్ చల్ల గాలి పేయి కి తగలంగనే ఒక్కసారి ‘స్వేచ్చ’ గాలి చుట్టుకున్నట్టు అయింది, ఆంధ్రా కంపు వాసనలు, అరువు తెచ్చుకున్న మొహాలు, ప్రేమలు ఏవి కన పడ్త లేవు, సంకెళ్ళను తెంచు కున్న సంతోషం, గెలుపు మాదే అన్న ధీమా, చెవుల్లో మార్మోగుతున్న నినాదాలు..ఎవడబ్బా సొమ్మురా తెలంగాణా మాదిరా, కదిలిందిర తెలంగాణా , ఖబడ్ దార్ , ఖబడ్ దార్, ఔర్ ఎక్ ధక్కా , తెలంగాణా పక్కా…గొంతులు చించుకుని అరుస్తున్నారు, స్వేచ్చా వాణి టాంక్ బండ్ అంతా మార్మోగుతున్నది, అది ఒక సెమినార్ కాదు, మీటింగ్ కాదు, ఒక నాయకుడు లేదు, ఎవరు ఏమైనా చేయొచ్చు, ఎక్కడికి అయిన పోవచ్చు.. అంతా నావోల్లె..అంత నా జాగనే..మొట్ట మొదటనే మా భూమి సంధ్యక్క గ్రూప్ కలిసింది, అక్క పాడుతుంటే అందరు డాన్స్ ఎసినం..సంధ్యక్క పాట గురించి చెప్పేదేముంది, రేపు చస్తా అనేతోడు కూడ లేచి డాన్స్ ఎస్తాడు..
మీ అందరి మీద ఒట్టేసి చెపుతున్నా , ఒక్క అన్ద్రోది మొకం కాన రాలే అంత మందిల..రేపు గిట్ల నా తెలంగాణాల అంద్రోలు లేకపోతె ఇంత బాగుంటదా ఏంది అనిపించింది.. తీరొక్క జెండాలు, పార్టీలు అక్కడక్కడ ఉన్నాయి, లాయర్లు, విద్యార్థులు, సింగరేణి, టీచర్లు, వర్కర్లు..ఇకటి కాదు రెండు కాదు , చూడ నికి రెండు కండ్లు చాల్త లేవు..మరో వైపు మహిళ జాక్, జలజ పాట జోరుగా అందుకున్నది, మద్యల నేర్నాల కిషోర్, రామక్క బృందం బతుకమ్మ పాట పాడి మస్తు ఆడిపిన్చిన్రు..మస్తు ఎండల కూడ ఎవరు అలిసి పోతలే, దాదాపుగా అన్ని ఊర్ల నుంచి జనం వచ్చిన్రు, లొల్లి లొల్లి..నాకు తెలిసిన ప్రతి ఉద్యమ కార్య కర్త కనపడ్డారు..ఈ మద్యల అందరిని కలుసుడు అంటే తెలంగాణా మీటింగులే! ఇవే పెండ్లి పేరంటాలు..ముచ్చట్లు, వీర గాధలు ఒక్కొక్కరం ఎన్ని కష్టాలు పడి వచ్చినమో చెప్పుకొని మురిసి పోవుడు..ఇంతలనే రేవతి అక్క ఫోన్ చేసింది, ఏడికి రావాలే అని, చెప్పినం..తిరిగి తిరిగి ఎడినించి రానీయట్లేదని ఒక్కతె ఇంటికి పోయిందంట..మస్తు బాద అయింది..రేవతి, ఒక ప్రొఫెస్సర్, తెలంగాణాల ఏదో ఒక పని చేస్తనే ఉంటది సైలెంట్ గా, రాస్తానే ఉంటది, మాట్లడతనే ఉంటది..ఇంత పెద్ద ఎత్తున మంది కదిలోస్తే చూడానికి దార్లు బందు బెట్టిన్రు, అట్లా ఎంత మంది ఎనక్కి పోయిన్రో బిడ్డలు, ఎంత చిన్న బుచ్చుకున్నారో, ..ఎవడబ్బ సొమ్మురా ఈ హైదరాబాద్? మా ఇంట్లకొచ్చి, మా హైదరాబాద్ చుట్టు ముళ్ళ కంచెలు కడతార..ఖబడ్ దార్ ఒక్కొక్కడికి గోరీలు కట్టే రోజులోచ్చిని..మంచిగా పొతే మంచిది, లేకపోతె ఎట్లా తోలాల్నో మావోల్లకి బాగా తెలుసు..
తెల్లని పాల పిట్ట ఓలే గద్దరన్న తెల్ల లాల్చి ఏసుకొని ‘పొడుస్తున్న పొద్దు మీద నడుస్తున్న కాలమా’ అని అందరితోని పాడిపిస్తుండు, అయన చుట్టూ జనం మస్తుగున్నారు, ప్రతిజ్ఞ చేసింరు, ఒక్క మీడియా కూడా రాలే నాకు తెలిసి..అవును అయన పాడిపించి, ఆడిపించి, తెలంగాణాని రగిలిన్చోడే కాని మాటలు నేర్చిన రాజ కీయ నాయకుడు కాదు కదా..అయినా టీవి ని లెక్ఖ బెట్టినోడేవడు..ఎవ్వని ఖుషి వానిదే, ఆడోల్లు ఒక తాన ఆడుతానే ఉన్నారు, ఎవరికీ వారు పాడతనే ఉన్నారు. ఇంతలో కాంగ్రెస్ నాయకులకి బుద్ది చెప్పి పంపింరని, ఇంకింత సంబురం..కష్ట పడి ఓట్లేసి, నాయకులను చేసి గెలిపిస్తే..కనీసం ఒక్క పర్మిషన్ కూడ ఇప్పించ లేరు, పరీక్ష వాయిదా వేయించ లేరు, డిజిపి తో మాట్లాడ లేరు..ఇంక సోనియా దాక ఎందుకులే ముచ్చట.. ఇంతకి వీళ్ళ ధైర్యాన్ని మెచ్చుకోవాలి..అయినా అందరి నాయకులకి ఇదే గతి పడతాడని భయపడ్డాం , కాని ఎం కాలే..దొంగలు బద్దంక పోలిసోల్లు ఒచ్చినట్టు మా నాయకులు లెట్ ఎంట్రి ఇచ్చింరు, ఎప్పటి లేక్ఖనే జర మంది కూదిన్రు, కాని అప్పటికే అందరికి తెలిసి పోయింది, ఇంక ఎక్కువ రోజులు నాటకాలు ఆడవని! ఇంకో వైపు చూస్తె హరీష్ రావు , ఇటల బోట్ల వస్తున్నారని విని మస్త మజా వచ్చింది, నయం ఇంక పైనుంచి రాలేదు, అయిన ఎక్కడి కష్టాలు మా నాయకులకి, ఎంత చెప్పిన తక్కువే వాళ్ళ గురించి..నవ్ ఐ డోంట్ వాంట్ టు వేస్ట్ మై టైం ఆన్ థెం, ఇది ఏ రాజ కీయ పార్టీ కష్టమూ కాదు..కేవలం ప్రజా విజయం, పార్టీలు స్వార్థ పూరిత ఆలోచనలతో వెనక అడుగేస్తే , మేమున్నాం అనుకుంటూ ముందడుగు వేసేది ఎపుడు ప్రజలే..
అంత అయిపొయింది అనకుంటే కొంత మంది విగ్రహాలు ద్వంసం చేస్తున్నారని వార్త, కడుపు మండుతుంటే ఎం చేస్తారు, అయినా ఇది కూడా సీమ ఆంద్ర ప్రభుత్వం ఆడి పిస్తున నాటకం ఎందుకు కాకూడదు? అవును, నాలుగు విగ్రహాలు ద్వంసం అయితే అన్ద్రోల్లు గాంధి తాతకి పాలు అభిషేకం చేస్తున్నారు, కొవ్వొత్తుల ప్రదర్శన అంతా, టీవిలకి ఇంక పండగా, ఒక్క విగ్రహం పొతే ఇంత బాద పడితే , మా భాష, యాస, బతుకులు పోయినందుకు మేము ఎన్ని పాల సముద్రాలు అప్పు తెచ్చుకోవాలె? ఒక టీవి వాడు “మార్చిచ్చు” అంటడు, ఇంకోడు “రణ మార్చ్” అంటడు, మరోడు “ఉద్యమమా ;విద్వంసమ” , “డెమ లిష్ మార్చ్ ” అన్ని చానళ్లల్ల చర్చలే చర్చలు..పొద్దున్నుంచి ప్రజలు ఎంత కష్టపడి తమ ఇంట్లకి తాము వచ్చి పోలిసోల్లని ఏడ బెట్టాల్నో ఆడ పెడితే, ఒక్కడు వేయడు, ఊర్ల కి పోతున్న వాళ్ళని అర్రేస్ట్లు చేసి చిత్ర హింసలు పెడితే పట్టించు కోరు, తెలంగాణా అంటే మావో ఇష్టులు అని పర్యాయ పదాలు వెతుక్కొంటే ఎట్లా, నేను ఎప్పుడో చెప్పిన, ప్రశ్నించే వాడే, అన్యాయాన్ని ఎదిరించే వాడే నక్ష లైట్ అయితే మేము నాలుగు కోట్ల మందిమి నక్ష లైట్లే..అసాంఘిక శక్తులు ఉన్నాయి అంటడు మా డిజిపి..మా భూములు గుంజుకొని, ఉద్యోగాలు గుంజుకొని, మమ్మల్ని దూర దేశాలకు పనికి పోయేటట్టు చేసిన మీరా , మేమా అసాంఘిక శక్తులు ? అమ్మ , అయ్యలకి దూరమై, అంద మైన నా షహర్ , శౌహర్ కి దూరమయి బతుకుతున్నాం, మీరు దొంగలా మేమా? మా నాయకుల బొమ్మలు పెట్టలేదని బాద ఎక్కువైంది , ఏమ్చేస్తారు అన్న? కెమెరాలు పోయినాయ్ ఒకే, ఉంటె కూడ ఎం లాభం చెప్పు, ఒక్కటన్నా మా ఉద్యమం సక్కగుందని ఏసే తోల్లా ? అయినా మీరు ఏది ఎయాలనుకున్నారో అదే ఎసిన్రు, మా వోల్లాని బోను లో నిలబెట్టి గుచ్చి గుచ్చి ప్రశ్నలు అడుగుతున్రు..ఒక వేల ఇది మా వొల్లె చేసుంటే, ఇదే ఈ ఆంధ్రా మీడియా కి గుణ పాఠం..
ఎవడు ఏమి కూసినా, ఈ గడ్డ మాది, అన్ని అదికారాలు మావి, తెలంగాణా రోజు రోజు కి ముందుకి పోతున్నది, అడ్డం వస్తే మరి ఎం చేస్తాడో ఇవ్వాల చూడనే చూసిన్రు.సోనియమ్మ కళ్ళు తెరిచి నపుడే తెలంగాణా ఇచ్చేతట్టయితే మాకు ఏ రాజ కీయ పార్టీలు అవసరం లేదు, రోజు కో పానం పోతుందీ మా పిలగాల్లది, ఎం చేస్తావ్ కాపాడానికి? మీరందరినీ హంతకులుగా నిల బెడతాము..మీరు సక్కగా ఉంటె మాకు ఈ గతి ఎందుకు పడతది?
ప్రజలు ఒక్కటిగా ఉన్నారు, కొందరు నాయకులు ఉన్నారేమో అని అపోహలు పడుతున్నారు, అంత లేదు..నిస్వార్థం గా ప్రజలు ముందుకొచ్చి పోరాడుతున్నారు.. కుల మతాలకి అతీతంగా, అందరిని కలుపుకుందాం, రాజ కీయ పార్టీలను పక్కన పెడదాం, ప్రజా పోరాటాలని నిర్మిద్దాం.. కేంద్రం ఇయాల కదుల్తడి, నేషనల్ మీడియా వచ్చింది కదా..ఇంక ఎవడి రాజ కీయ ఎత్తుగడలు ఇపుడు అవసరం లేదు..ఆరంభ శూరత్వం! ఏమి లేదు..
“భయాన్ని జయిస్తే అతి ప్రమాద కరమైన శత్రువుని జయించి నట్లే” అని ఎవరో అన్నాట్లు, మేం జయిన్చాం, మాకు పోలిసులంటే భయం లేదు, రాజ కీయ నాయకులు అంటే ప్రేమ లేదు, మా ప్రాణాల్ని ఫణం గా పెట్ట కుండా, నువ్వు కూడ తెలంగాణా తెచ్చే టందుకు లాడాయికి సిద్దం కా తమ్ముడు..
ప్రాణం ఖరీదు చెప్ప గలరా? ఎస్, ఒక ప్రాణం ఖరీదు తెలంగాణా! ఒక ప్రాణం ఖరీదు ఒక రాజ కీయ నాయకుడి హత్య/బహిష్కరణ, కొత్త తరం కోసం అన్వేషణ..లేకపోతె పైన ఉన్న తమ్ముళ్ళు, చెల్లెళ్ళు, అన్నలు మనల్ని క్షమించారు..

To Telangana Police, From Egypt
Nowadays, our leaders are hinting at the people’s movement in Egypt as an example for telangana movement. One must realize, what is the reason behind the success of such a movement in Egypt? If 384 deaths could realize the dreams of an independent country…..shouldn’t 600 deaths realize our dream of an independent state? But that did not happen here…Why? Because the Egyptian police…and the Army were with the people in that rebellion….they did not fight with their own brethren instead fought against their leader, Hosni Mubarak. That is when Mubarak lost the race. Once the army and police joined hands with the people…Mubarak realized the end of his regime and gave up. Libya is another good example in this context. All the parts where the Libyan army joined hands with the people are controlled by the rebels and the regions where army did not join with the people remained with Gaddhafi. This is another reason why Libyan revolution was not as fruitful as the Egyptian. The bottom line from the ‘Jasmine revolution’ is that until the army (police, in our case) joins hands with the people….the ultimate dream will NOT be realized. Why are not the telangana police joining the movement? We all know, they are important to restore peace in our region…but they also have a role to play in this historical movement. They should have supported movements such as Non-cooperation, Million March, etc…but they failed. One can understand that the City police are infiltrated by Seemandhra cops so they will not support our struggle….but what happened to the police in the districts? Why did they arrest so many innocent men and women ahead of the million march for no reason? They cannot say that they are afraid of their higher authorities as in the case of our politicians. One can recall the incident of police brutality against people in Karimnagar town just because the district SP was transferred. How come they did not think of higher authorities then?
Let’s only hope that they will join the people very soon. Million March is a warning to all the cops in telangana, join the movement now or face the wrath. Someone like KCR should publicly warn the police against booking innocent people. I personally feel, we should save all the videos of this police brutality for future reference. Once Telangana is realized, we need to identify each policeman and book atrocity cases on each of them. None shall be spared for their brutality….Jai Telangana.

‘Million March’ reflected Telangana’s indomitable spirit
The day of March has arrived and started on a sad note. Shaken by the oppressive police, a graduate student in Khammam committed suicide. Another attempted the same at Basheerbagh press club. The arrests continued unabated, mainly in the outskirts and in the districts. Within the city, the police strategised more on barricading and cordoning off areas around Tank Bund, Secretariat and Assembly. All roads in these areas were blocked, ending up disconnecting Hyderabad and Secunderabad. I failed to find a route through the Masab Tank road, the Taj Banjara road or the Khairatabad’s track area towards Tank Bund. Police were on guard everywhere. I have never in my life seen such a deserted Hyderabad. See the Khairatabad junction here. I ended up on Necklace road through the by lanes and then drove around the lake to lower tank bund road. At the Mosque there, the Muslim youth helped us park and trek up the tank bund.
It was around 2.00 PM and by then thousands made their way. By then the barricades were broken and the main entrance to lower tank bund road from Liberty was wide open. So people from liberty took the road. While others on NTR Gardens, Necklace road side canoed over Hussain Sagar! Well, if the state government took up foiling this March on a war-footing by randomly arresting or harassing people from participating, it clearly lost the war.
The importance of today’s Million March for Telangana movement:
It was clear the politicians were trying to distance themselves from the Million March. They tried to even ‘postpone’ it. But the pressure of the non-political civil society groups within the TJAC made this March inevitable. Today’s turnout at tank bund is a eye-opener for all political parties. Without any mobilization from the parties, like for Telangana garjana in Warangal, around 1 lakh gathered at Tank Bund. This is despite the unofficial curfew, the traffic blockades, the arrests and the detentions of TJAC leadership. For anyone who has doubts about the depth of the movement, todays’ turnout and the uncompromising will behind it should provide the answer. The unwilling politicians too attended, to save their face. People’s will prevailed.
The creative expressions at the March:
As the telangana movement has time and again shown, there is no dearth of creativity in expressing the ideas and aspirations of the movement.
Firstly, there were the masks. Scores of people turned out in Masks of Gandhi, Ambedkar and even Professor Kodandram. When news flew that the professor may be arrested in the morning, the masks of his face were prepared and worn to mock at the police about the impending arrest. Of course, when the real arrest happened, the agitators found no fun in it and flew into a rage and even dismantled some statues on the bund, dragged them across the road and threw them into Hussain Sagar.
Secondly, the dhoom-dhaam and the songs raised the pitch as they usually do. Accompanied by a stereo in a four wheeler which managed to squeeze in, the songs, especially Gaddar’s raised the tempo. The youth danced to the beats and a festive atmosphere ensued.
Meanwhile, women played bathukamma and sung. Some carried bonalu. Kids came in with attires of Gandhi, Nehru, Patel etc and played short skits encouraging the movement. Youth rallied around, some with their hands chained, some with their mouths covered symbolically. My friend Madhav carried a huge Indian flag around getting an odd compliment from one of the policemen! All organizations and groups which came with their banners rallied to and fro, sloganeering about Telangana, between the two ends of lower tank bund. The 2 ends were guarded by police and paramilitary forces. As was the adjoining Telugu Thalli flyover.
The Armed forces:
The paramilitary forces stood and watched as thousands poured in overcoming barricades in different parts of city. And I was told they gave up only at 1 PM before which they tried stopping by arresting people. But very soon they must have realised they can not arrest 100,000 people. However, they were the guys who saved the 2 MPs present, Madhu Yashki and K Keshava Rao, from being manhandled by the irate mob for not doing enough for Telangana movement. Even the media faced the ire of the public for all their recent dramas about NBA guidelines and the biased reporting. Some of their cameras were snatched and thrown into Hussain Sagar.
The agitators were prepared for the scorching sun too. Some came in with caps and most of them arranged for their water packets. Somewhere between 3.00 PM and 4.00 PM Mr. KCR came in and settled at Pothana’s statue with his followers. Gaddar made his exit. Emotions were running high by then and one law student attempted suicide too. May be, it is this mood of the agitators that made the politicians cautious today. None who came there tried to address, appeal or instruct the public at large. Maybe, the Professor could have been different if he were allowed to attend the March. At last, the pledge for Telangana was taken. A pledge that, in its essence, says we would put up an uncompromising fight for Telangana’s demerger. Come what may.
While the dusk set in, we stepped down the tank bund. Discussed the day’s events among us friends over some cool drinks while the neighbourhood residents cheered the agitators on the Bund from their balconies and terraces. If not for the political leadership within the movement, Tank Bund would have been Tahrir Square within an indefinite sit-in. The cheering neighbours would have joined, the folks who were arrested would have joined too and the numbers would have swelled into millions. The Govt. must be feeling lucky that the dusk has set in and rescued them. They must be feeling lucky that the agitators didn’t head towards the secretariat or Assembly. But then as I walked the half mile back to the Mosque recollecting the day’s frenzy, I felt the March has now only begun and it is now unstoppable.

Telangana supporters ‘tailed’ by undercover policemen
In the good old game of spying. For the first time, pro-Telangana leaders are being ‘tailed’ by undercover policemen to keep a watch on their activities related with separate Telangana movement. A three-day spying exercise was launched on March 8 in connection with the Million March of Telangana protagonists. Policemen are to ‘shadow’ important leaders belonging to Telangana Rashtra Samiti (TRS), Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) and the Telangana Joint Action Committee (TJAC) even at mandal level until March 10.
“Every ‘marked’ leader and activist has three undercover men, usually unfamiliar constables, assigned round-the-clock. These policemen keep a track of every movement of their ‘quarry’ during the period only to facilitate stopping him in his tracks,” reveals a police officer about the latest in agitation control methodology.

OU students show that cricket is in our blood
The Telangana students have some real cricket skills, The police force have been pelting stones at the students at the OU campus. A student was seen trying to bat stones pelted by Indian military. Yeah, world cup fever is around and the students are using the cricket skills and hitting back the stones at the opponent.
We are sure there are Yuvis, Pathans who can hit back with some huge hitting back, Cricket is in our blood.

‘Million March’ a huge success, creates history
The Million March to Hyderabad was a huge success, the Telanganites have shown that none can stop the Telanganites to join the March. Telanganites have today shown the real spirit and desire for the separate statehood of Telangana. They have gone extremes to make their point loud and clear. Women also took active part in the event and attended in large numbers. Nothing stopped them from reaching Tank bund. Arrests, barricades, barbed wires, nothing could stop them. By 3 p.m., more than 1 lakh people gathered at Tank bund, over a lakh arrested, and a million more were stopped from reaching hyderabad.
Telanganites have created history. Nothing like this has happened before. They have shown to the world that Telangana is a people’s desire. The March has been very peaceful. More than the Million March, it was the government that caused inconvenience to the people.
People were seen singing songs, doing bathukamma dances, and participating in dhoom dham all over Tank bund.
We whole heatedly say million thanks to everyone involved and made ‘Million March’ a huge success.

Chappals hurled at KK and Yashki
Congress MPs K Keshav Rao and Madhu Yashki Goud were hurled with chappals by Telangana supporters near Tank Bund where they had come to take part in the ‘million march to Hyderabad’ .

Rally starts from campus, situation tense…
At around 11:45am the OU students have all started as a rally raising JAI TELANGANA slogans towards the Tank Bund from the Arts College in Hyderabad. The OU main gate has been broken and the students have seen barging out of the OU Campus. The situation is very tensed with the students and police force clashing. The students said that they are not afraid of the police, they are used to lathicharge, students have taken beatings, rubber bullets in the past and it is not new to them.
The police force has been doing aerial search on the OU campus, the OU campus is very tensed. Tear gas has been used on the students to disperse them. Stone pelting also started at the OU campus. Police force are again brutally beating the students left anf right.
They are very keen on reaching the Tank Bund at any cost and show their solidarity to the Million March.

We will reach Tank Bund at any cost – OU JAC
The OU JAC students talking to the media condemned the actions of CM Kiran Kumar Reddy, Governor Narasimhan, DGP Aravind Rao, Commisioner AK Khan. They are very angry with the way police force is acting in Hyderabad, They said that already a large number of students have reached the OU campus in Hyderabad. They said that they all will, start as a rally from OU campus and move towards the Tank Bund and will pledge for the Telangana at any cost.
It has to be noted that the gates of the OU Campus has been blocked by the police force, It is very tensed at the OU campus. Students went on to say that they will clear all the obstacles, reach Tank Bund. If they try to obstruct the students the govt will be held responsible for the consequences.
They made a statement that it is a moral victory for all the TELANGANITES, as the govt was scared of Million March and trying to disrupt the movement.

Telangana supporters reaching Tank Bund
The Telanganites have started reaching Tank Bund in Hyderabad. Policemen are trying to chase away the Telangana supporter. At places in the city the policemen are brutally lathicharging to disperse the Telanganites and arresting them. Well, the Telanganites are also detemined and stubborn to reach Tank Bund and show their solidarity for the “Million March”. The situation around Tank Bund has a deserted look with the police force blocking all the roads leading to the Tank Bund. Looks like the police force have no idea of the strength of the Telanganites. They will be crushed when all the Telanganites raise the slogan “JAI TELANGANA” together.
A large number of people coming from Nalgonda have been arrested near Tank Bund and have been taken to the police station.
If the police force tries to obsturct the March it would be clash between the govt forces and the Telangana supporters and the situation will be out of control.

AICC chief, Sonia Gandhi seems to not care for the ongoing Telangana movement, the ministers form the CM Kiran Kumar Reddy’s cabinet have been trying to get an appointment for a day now.

Prof. Kodandaram the convenor of the political JAC talking to the media said that the govt has been trying to suppress the Million March. He said that if the police force has its own plans to disrupt the march, we also have our own plans and the March will be made a huge success. Prof. Kodandaram said that the police force has been provoking the Telangana supporters at every place in the Telangana. We will make the March a huge success by reaching Tank Bund and pledging for the separate statehood of Telangana at the Tank Bund.
He criticised the govt’s move to stall all the Telanganites at different places and not allowing them to come to Hyderabad. He went on to say that it looks like “police march” in Hyderabad.

Nayini arrested, situation tense
The TRS Politician, Nayini Narasimha Reddy was arrested in Hyderabad at his residence, There was no reason for the arrest. Nayini demanded the reason why he was getting arrested. Nayini was at his house when the police arrested him. Nayini’s supporters condemend the arrest, demanded the release of Nayini and said that the govt and policemen are trying to disrupt the Million March that would be peacefully conducted.
The policemen are making the situation tense in Hyderabad.

“Those who make peaceful revolution impossible will make violent revolution inevitable.” John F. Kennedy”Today morning Rakesh called me from Warangal and told me the state of affairs there. Apparently the police are arresting all active members of political parties, people’s and student organizations. He told me that the police have set up a camp in the bus stand and railway station and are not allowing anyone below 30 years to board a bus or train to Hyderabad. The police were even taking undertakings from people that they would not participate in any rallies or else they will pay a fine.
Today afternoon I switched on the TV and saw a Superintendent of Police speak about the various ‘precautionary measures’ that the department is taking. These include:
- preventive detention of activists
- counseling (warning) the parents of students about the dire consequences their children would have to face if they went to Hyderabad to attend the Million March
- warning owners of private vehicles and taxis not to give their vehicles on hire
- warning school and college managements not to give their vehicles for people attending the Million March
- Setting up check posts on state highways to ensure no one travels to Hyderabad to participate in the March
By conservative estimates over 1,00,000 people (yes! You read it right. One lakh people) were arrested in 10 districts of Telangana. Of this 11,000 arrests were made in Hyderabad.
All this to prevent a peaceful rally to a tourist place called Tank Bund in Hyderabad!
People just want to take a pledge for Telangana in the presence of Lord Buddha – a symbol of peace.
Representations from TRS, TDP, Congress, BJP, CPI MLAs and scores of peoples, students organizations to the state Chief Minister and Home Minister requesting permission for the Million March rally have fallen on deaf ears.
While a dictator named Hosni Mubarak allowed lakhs of his citizens to march into Tahrir Square, here is a ‘democratic government’ which is trampling on its citizen’s basic rights.
We have seen enough history. For once, let us create it!
Note: Participants are requested to carry water bottles and also wear caps/hats as the summer temperatures are soaring. The Telangana pledge will take place at 4PM on Tank Bund. Please carry a ‘Jai Telangana’ placard or a national flag with you if possible.

Govt. turns Hyderabad into Tiananmen Square
The last 2 days made me wonder if the autocratic Egypt and the dictatorship in Libya are better than the supposedly ‘world’s largest democracy’ in public freedom. Even the British may not have clamped down on the democratic protests as aggressively as our state government is now doing. This Govt. randomly arrests, detains people. They restrict people from their own cities and towns. They casually disregard rights commissions’ instructions and callously violate high court’s guidelines. Tomorrow is yet another day the police promise they would be at their worst. Today, the whole of Hyderabad has become Tiananmen Square for Telangana people. As you all know, the protest rally tomorrow has been cut down in scale due to a +2 exam that is scheduled for tomorrow. The Telangana Joint Action Committee (TJAC) which earlier called for the ‘Million March’ did so on an understanding with the Intermediate Examination board that the exam could be rescheduled for 12 March. However, the State government prevailed upon the board not to reschedule, to whittle down the protests. Keeping in view the importance of the exam for youth’s career, the protests have been scaled down for few hours after the exam ends tomorrow.
TJAC has been very sensitive to the public in its scheduling of different kinds of protests. Even in December 2009, when the protests were at their peak with dailyrasta-rokos, bandhs etc, Christmas day was given an exception so as to avoid inconvenience to our Christian brethren. Very recently, blockade of a national highway NH9 was postponed keeping in view a community festival. While TJAC, which comprises of intellectuals and civil society groups have been so reasonable, the state government is going to the abyss in trying to quell the protests and suppress democratic voices. Today, even as I mail you, the government announced cancellation of all trains within Hyderabad and those that are coming in from other Telangana districts into Hyderabad tomorrow. The government is trying every trick to stop people from coming to the protest march. It has diverted all bus services to avoid taking the central route through Hyderabad city. 100,000 people have been detained today across other Telangana districts as they were trying to come to Hyderabad. Within Hyderabad 10,000 people have been detained. T he police say that the main area of protest, Tank Bund besides the Hussain Sagar Lake, will be cordoned off tomorrow.
While TJAC called for peaceful protests, Andhra Government made it virtually a bandh by cancelling public transport and bringing in traffic restrictions. While TJAC called for a million march, the government contributed 100,000 police men/paramilitary forces in and around Hyderabad. That is a good start. I wish the police show the same enthusiasm in tackling the drug trade, the faction killings and the land mafia in the city. It is amusing to see the commissioner speak how the TJAC should do democratic, lawful, peaceful protests. For the record, the police did not give a single permission for any democratic meeting, rally in last 15 months. The police refused each time and the agitators diligently went to high court/supreme court to get permissions and got them. It is the police, on the other hand, who were severely criticized for their handling of the democratic protests. The atrocities in OU received international attention when REPORTERS WITHOUT BORDERScondemned the police action in the university. The police have been repeatedly put to notice by the State’s HRC and the national HRC. But the police, being willing party to the government’s anti-Telangana policy, won’t budge. Instead they lecture us on how to uphold democratic values.
Even as I blog this, I see the SHRC once again instruct the police to uphold human rights of the agitators. But of course they would not heed. But then the agitators have already been conditioned for the enemy. And the March will be on in the face of the enemy. And when the dust settles down, the state and the police will have yet another humiliation they need to shoulder, in addition to those of bandhs, rail-rokos and assembly muttadis that they already have faced. This would be another self-goal from the government. In their insecurity over losing to the Telangana people, they will end up disrupting public life and imprisoning themselves in their houses. And eventually they would meet the same fate as the Arab and African dictators. Till then the March of the Millions would be on.

Policemen warning T supporters…
In the districts of the Telangana the police force are seen warning the Telanganites from going to Hyderabad. They have going home to home and are asking for youngsters at the homes. If the youngsters are not at home, the policemen have issued warnings to their family. A few of the family members talking to the media said that the policemen behaviour was not good and they are provoking the Telangana supporters.
In all the district bus stations the policemen are going to the passengers and warned and chased the Telangana supporters from the bus stations. Every vehicle with passengers are stopped and questioned. They are trying to suppress the Million March.

Telangana under the eyes of Police
With the Million March scheduled to be started in the next few hours, the Telangana districts are full of police force. Pickets have been set up, If the policemen finds any person who is planning on coming to Hyderabad they are cross questioned and arrested. Every road leading to Hyderabad has been setup with check posts and places the Telanganites are even beaten.
Some of the Telangana supporters are being chased by the police and the T supporters are also very stubborn on coming to Hyderabad. Policemen are seen asking for IC cards from the people and are warning the people from going to Hyderabad.
Large number of Policemen and platoons have been deployed in the Telangana region.

Vishnu talks for Telangana
After a long long time the congress MLA from Jubilee Hills talked in support of the Telangana, He said that he will pariticipate in the “Million March”. It has to be remembered that Vishnu is the son of late PJR, who was very strong supporter of Telangana, he said that his dad’s dream was to see the separate statehood of Telangana and he wants his dad’s dream to come true. PJR was the politician who worked for the people who were in need of help and were backward.
He went on to say that he is a also a very strong supporter of separate statehood of Telangana.

All trains towards Hyderabad have been cancelled
In the history of the South Central Railways the trains have never been cancelled. Today the South Central Railyways made a statement that the trains leading to the Hyderabad will be cancelled on the March 10. It has to be noted that the Telangana supporters are all marching towards Hyderabad to show their support and solidarity for the separate statehood of Telangana.
What’s next, will the govt cancell all the buses towards Hyderabad?

1 lakh T supporters are arrested – Prof. Kodandaram
Prof. Kodandaram the convenor of the Telangana political JAC talking to the media said that the govt and police force are trying to disrupt the peacefully planned “Million March’. He said that in Hyderabad itself 10 thousand Telangana supporters have been arrested, The police force are conducting raids at Osmania and Kakatiya University. Students are getting harrased. Policemen have arrested 1 lakh supporters from all the districts of Telangana.

The govt is all set to obstruct and disrupt the Million march. The news coming out that thousands of Telangana supporters will be taken into custody by the time the Million March starts. Already, the govt has set up check posts around the city of Hyderabad, policemen are keeping an eye on all the train stations and bus stations to arrest the Telangana supporters who are planning on coming to Hyderabad.
The govt and police force has identified some areas in the Telangana where they imposed 144 section and trying to disrupt the Million March.
The Telangana supporters are criticising the govt’s move of obstructing and disrupting the Million March. They are questioning as “IDHI OKA GOVT AAA?”

Vasi Reddy Padma jumps to Jagan
As reported earlier that Vasi Redy Padma, the PRP politician was upset with PRP and was all set to ditch Chiranjeevi and jump to Jagan has been made official.
Vasi Reddy Padma made an official statement that she will be joining Jagan’s group and start Jagan japam from Mar 12 at a meeting, she said she will be attending the meeting and join Jagan’s group.
It has to be noted that Padma supported the merging of PRP with congress at the time of discussions and when she did not get the MLC seat, she made counter statements that she was never wanting the merger of PRP with congress.
Well, PRP has given very good political lessons and tricks to Vasi Reddy Padma. She is implementing them now and not sure how much time she can be with Jagan.

HC declines to interfere with ‘Million March’
The Andhra Pradesh High Court today declined to interfere with the proposed `Million March” organised by Telangana supporters here on March 10.
A division bench of Chief Justice Nisar Ahmed Kakroo and Justice Vilas Afzal Purkar was hearing a public interest petition filed by one Sambaraju Chakrapani. The petitioner maintained the proposed march in the state capital would paralyse the normal life.Political parties have been prohibited by the Supreme Court to undertake any activity which would bring peace and tranquillity to a standstill, he pointed out.In an affidavit, the Government informed the HC that the Hyderabad Police Commissioner had already rejected permission for conduct of the march.
The petitioner pleaded that the court must direct the Government to take adequate measures to prevent the agitation. The court, however, declined to issue any direction and expressed satisfaction over the security arrangements.

- T-politicians won’t be having 117 MLA and 17 MP seats, as many of them would be SA migrants.
- The surrounding districts around Hyderabad like Nalgonda, Rangareddy etc will be politically dominated by SA migrants as is the case now with Hyderabad.
- There will be two high commands for T-politicians (if any remains) one in Hyderabad and other in Delhi.
- Politicians from T-districts which doesn’t share their borders with Hyderabad will be the poorest politicians of India.
- No more political dynasty to the children of current T-politicians.
- No big contracts for T-politicians, may be they will be limited to contracts from Gram Panchayat’s that to at the mercy of SA rulers.

Telangana supporters arrested left and right
Hundreds of Telangana supporters are being arrested left and right by the police force. The arrests have no reason. It looks like the govt and police dept are trying to suppress the Million March to Hyderabad. In greater hyderabad area the Telangana supporters have been arrested last night. TRSV students are also arresrted. In Warangal the police have been searching for the Telangana supporters house by house and arresting the Telangana supporters. In all the districts of the Telangana the police force are keeping an eye on the train stattions, bus stations. Police force have already setup pickets at all the roads leading to Hyderabad.
The Telangana supporters are also not backing off they said that at any cost they will be participating in the Million March to Hyderabad and demanded that the govt and police force not to act stupid and stop provoking the Telangana supporters.
The telangana supportes made a statement that “If the govt tries to create obstacled and obstruct the Million March to Hyderabad, the Govt will be held responsibel for all the consequences.”
